Amity have been kings of the choruses for years now, but these last few albums and EPs have really added a lot of depth and heavy to their tracks. It's their best era yet

Joe's one of my favorite drummers. His work with Defeater has always been stellar, and I think he fits with TAA as well.

This song was incredible live. Good Things Festival in Brisbane Australia last weekend. Goes super super hard live and i was amazed that half the crowd even I knew the lyrics and sang along.

I love the direction these guys have been going in the past few years. The cleans are so unique and the choruses are so smooth.
The Amity Affliction is literally the only band where I like every song. It's all fucking amazing. You can't even ask me a favorite song.

I’ve always loved Amity for mostly their Chasing Ghosts and Let The Ocean Take Me albums and then they went a bit softer on their music and it wasn’t bad but I really missed heavier Amity, but the past couple years, they really started going back towards that and sometimes even heavier than back then and this track is by far one of my favorites since like Let The Ocean Take Me. I’m just glad they still are killing it to this day with anything they release but this recent one is my favorite in such a long time. I’m so excited for more!
Beyond the Blue was them going so much heavier and emotional and this track sounds VERY promising. I have an idea this album is going to be their heaviest and most pissed album yet bc Aussies really got fucked over during the pandemic.

Bro how have you not reacted to Car Bomb yet? Absolute ride of a band. Of all the bands you cover, they should be on the roster. Honestly shocked I haven't seen anything on your channel about them. I recommend Nonogon or Secrets Within for some nice fast grooves. Or Dissect Yourself for sounds you couldn't imagine coming from a guitar. Not to mention their drummer is Haake level but in his own jazzy style. Crazy time sig changes, even odder meters. And the onslaught is so different to anything else I know of. You'd be blown away as a musician compared to anything else you've done i think. Not by richardson standards but just by how creative and different it is.

This band has so much potential 😳
That bridge was no doubt inspired by their songs like Pittsburgh, Give It All, Shine On, All Fucked Up, and I Bring the Weather With Me. The child choir adds so much to the deep message Joel is trying to get across. Glad to hear it's coming back but more as a chant instead of a choir. Bands say they've written heavy music but it ends up being emotionally heavy. This went both ways and I love it.

The Amity Affliction is one of my top bands, their music is always amazing! They didn't disappoint with this one!
They are actually lost in the forest. A film crew just happened to drive by and spot them so they made a music video of this weird metal tribe
From singing about the ocean to being stuck if forests for the music videos
Wasn’t a big fan of their last album except the first really heavy song they dropped. Just felt lazier than their past albums. I really enjoyed misery actually.
