    Great video. Only thing I would do different is change the coolant. It's cheap plus it will lubricate the waterpump. You could reach drain knob from top. Especially with long arms. Use hydrometer and test old coolant or just replace with Zerex Asian coolant. Well done video though overall.

    I would like to add, after refilling the coolant you need to run the engine with a bleed funnel to get the air out of the coolant system. Then after bleeding top up the over flow bottle.

    Mu 2006 corolla is leaking water kinda in the midle of the engine underneath intake manifold. Should it be a bad water pump? Idk what to think

    Should I replace my radiator if there is no leaks? My 2008 Corolla has 238 thousands miles with all original parts except serpentine belt and parks plugs.

    Can a bad water pump cause the AC to not work properly?

    • @wjm3018
      @wjm3018 2 месяца назад

      No lol it's not connect3d. Could be a bad fuse or connector or ac compressor or condenser Probably a leak from condenser but you need to get it inspected with dye freon to find where there's a leak.

    Dont worry bout warping or cracking the old water pump, its no good anyways. No need to be careful with it. And, the step of the other pulley being in the way of the last bolt was left out of the video.

    Why save on new toyota coolant. A jug cost about $20. Thats the main reason why the pump goes bad.😂 but ngood job on tutorial.

      Not sure without being there to hear it sorry. Catalytic converter's will make a screeching noise under acceleration when they are clogged tho!

      It was an amazon one I believe. The 3/8” ones with low torque readings are the most useful for most people

      just a generic water pump or designated water-sealing rtv from a parts store. usually its blue. I know a lot of guys even use the black stuff designed for oil and they say it works fine
