- Today we're taking a look at what we think could be coming in the next wave of X-Men'97 Marvel Legends from Hasbro. It's been all but confirmed that they will be continuing this hot line so let's see if we can guess what will be in that wave.

Bastion (first form with an extra conic accurate head he had for his second form

Jubilee's second uniform with removable glasses and plasmoid effects
Sunspot powered up version
And brown suit wolverine
I really think we’ll see something close to this if not this exact wave.
Marvel Girl’s costume was made in marvel legends as Jean wore it House Of X.
Right. And that seems too recent and not very many people liked that figure. Maybe if they did better articulation and effects it would make some sense.
One of the worst figures, looks like a statue
All i need is arc angel ,sabretooth and magneto for my xmen shelf . And marvel select will be my arcangel i havent decided which of the other two i will get yet . A Bastion maybe interesting since i like cyborgs . Cant really think of any other xmen type characters i want from that group .Its possible they would just rerelease the haslab bastion with minor changes .
I would like to check out the mafex magneto but will probably just stick with the legends magneto.
@@thestrongcollectors i have the sentinel fighting armor magneto which may be definitive but havent decided if i will get him . I like the family matters magneto too .
I hope they'll bring Colossus too

The next X-men '97 _Legends_ (wave 3 & 4) was listed on Twit or X in early May, on _Adum Strange_ accnt. Is it accurate,, (who knows) ???
Their it lists;

I bet a lot of people are going to be excited for that banshee.
@@thestrongcollectors If them Waves our right,,,,,,, I'll try and get most of 'um. Esp Xavier in Shi'ar regalia w/ the Helmet & cloak. It would complete the famous _UXM 275_ cover!
If they give us black suit Jubilee, they better give us an extra head sculpt of her with her vampire teeth!
That would be awesome. I think it would be a stretch since she isn’t a vampire in the show but I bet someone will make a custom head.

I need wave 3 like yesterday. It'll sell like hot cakes. Colossus, cable, Jubilee, forge, professor X, Gladiator.
I’d be surprised if it had colossus or gladiator in it unless they are a bigger part in season 2.

I would think they have the go ahead, it’s just a matter of not showing it off too early like the no way home 3 pack. I would guess we see it in the last 1 or 2 live streams of the year. Congrats on the win.

I think a lot of people would be excited to see beast.
A leak said a few names already. Jubilee, Morph, Beast, Sunspot, and Cable. the others are a mystery. The leak also said this is based on early art, so Jubilee must be Jim Lee, doubtful she will be on the vampire suit. Seems like Beast and Cable will be repaints, maybe with some pinless pieces, but who knows, Hasbro, even at this point.

I guess no Juggernaut figure in this wave. I hope they do that figure justice.

Hoping for The black suit jubilee and sunspot in the x uniform.. i 100% think wolverine will get one because it’s hasbro lol but i’ll definitely be excited for that as my brown suit wolverine kinda sucks now and a brown suit wolverine on the diaphragm body would be pretty sweet.🔥
That’s true. He makes sense as the big seller and a lot of people want the current 97 wolverine to get a rerelease.
I don't think any character from the series would be a pegwarmer. Any variation of the characters is popular enough to sell.
Actually, it's been a long time since I saw a Marvel Legends wave make it to clearance in my area. I just knew that the ROSE would get marked down but he sold too! The last time I saw a wave hit clearance was either the Antman or Captain Marvel waves
I think if they kept it to characters with powers they would be hot sellers. I wonder if season 2 isn’t close when they announce the next wave if the hype will have died down
@@thestrongcollectors The synergy of the show and figures was pretty good. If anything, I think that the popularity of the figures proves that community desires comic based figures more than movie. The marketing of comic vs. live action looks to be pretty substantial in the comics favor.
I would love to see a wave of comic based figures that got the sculpting budget of an MCU wave. Hasbro has never put forth an effort of making a wave of new sculpts for comic figures the way that they have for Eternals and Black Widow movie waves.
That would be pretty interesting to see a comic wave get the same budget. They could do some cool stuff i'm sure. And you're right the popularity of the xmen 97 waves is so much higher than any mcu wave I can remember recently and anything I except in the future. Maybe if there was a whole wave for the deadpool movie that would be popular but even then I doubt it. Just looking at the no way home figures they didn't do great.
@@thestrongcollectors the Deadpool movie would be a great time to drop an X-Force wave. The single release figures are selling "strong."
Marketing definitely should have made a Wolverine anniversary 2 pack for the film. That was an obvious choice to me.🤷🏽♂️
@@thestrongcollectors No Way Home was a marketing failure! The 3 pack re-released as single releases was a black eye on the wave! That was the greed showing it's ugly head.
We did get VHS morph who had minimal cell shading. Just needs the AoA head and yellow gloves. They are a bit bulky on the Vulcan body though. Bit more Lithe in 97.

Beast with labcoat, Morph with extra head, Giant Size Storm, Jubilee, Mister Sinister, Bastion (deluxe with transformation accessories 👏)
I would probably grab a deluxe bastion even though I don’t love the character but I do love wings.
Morph, Jubilee, Bastion, Beast, Mr Sinister, Cable in his super shoulder pad outfit. Is my prediction for a wave 3.
Wave 4 i feel Sunspot, Rogue or Storm, and maybe plain blue Cyclops and three others that had a bigger role in season two, would fill this wave.
To iron out the other characters that should be included but would be made redundant if the figure comes out way after season one... we may see 2-packs! Or at least stinkin store exclusives single figures... this is where we may see a Professor X + Lilandra (or single releases)... maybe Storm becomes paired with a deluxe Adversary!
Maybe instead of exclusive 97 retro cards we’d see some of those characters in baf waves or something

you know, I d watch just you meddling with heads swapping, any team, just to show what s possible. out of all the legends channels out there, your team is the most promising to me. as you re open, creative, ambitious, smart, artistic, intello, philosophical, and great knowledge in comics, man, you re X men! show your power team! do you know someone built a CLASSIFIED terrordrome? a rolling thunder? a Destro demon? those are impressive pieces! imagine someone doing the same for legends? well, no one will if they don t see those... as it inspires! it s art! what WE NEED here. they re on u tube. check this guys, it s worth your time, and it s things I d see your channel cover. converting big vehicles into legends vehicles is a novelty no one did yet.... your territory. thanks bro
Still in awe they didn't have another wave in the Que with the finale. I guess technically Wave 1 was 2023 and Wave 2 2024. Does hasbro not liking making money? I think because so much money went into those endless Wolverine 2 packs this year they didn't have a budget for other ventures. Literally like 6 or 7 new Logan figures, which would have added up to a wave. I'd like to see Jubilee in a new suit, Sunspot in his new mutants costume with alternate head and hands that has him powered up, Professor X & Hover chair, Psylocke, Exodus and Bastion as Villian.
A 3rd wave would have made no sense at the time. The show wasn’t out and with the way mcu has been going they aren’t normally flying off the shelves. It was a good idea to wait and make sure the show was good. I think most fans agree now that it was amazing so I’m sure a wave 3 is coming and a 4 probably isn’t far behind.
I think they'd have to do Jubilee in the black suit.
But if they do Sunspot it will just be plain clothes.
I feel like that would make sense because then they could do sunspot in a baf wave or something because the show and comic looks are pretty similar.

I’m trying to figure out why yall thought the Marvel girl costume was the only older costume when all of the costumes shown from the change are older, they got them from that storage in the glass case
i feel like all the other older costumes are used more in the books. the marvel girl look just feels so retro and only retro.
Just give us a danger room playset but bigger than the toy biz one. . Id also like to see Xavier and lilandra as a 2 pack , gladiator, and star jammers, silver fox , omega red, weapon x wolverine ,the 4 horsemen of apocalypse 4 pack

Beast and jubilee and many others are basically reissues. Maybe they want them on card.
Cable would be a nice repaint. And sunspot would be nice for a new mutants costume.
I agree but I think beast and jubilee both go fairly high on the secondary and if they could do a jubilee with better effects that would be nice.
@@thestrongcollectors beast and jubilee do go for a lot, even after both having a round of reissues already. So a third round would help collectors. I see your point
Morph, Jubilee, and Beast would be in my top three guesses for the next wave. Maybe a Sinister to round out the villian slot.
I just don’t see what they would do different from the sinister figures they already have. Maybe a more separated cape.
@thestrongcollectors True. As much as I want a new Beast, I feel like the same argument could be made. He has one of (if not the) best designs of any X-team that Hasboro has released. But I won't complain about another chance to nab him for retail cost.
Beast is at least high on the secondary market. I don't think sinister is even close to that level of price. And beast could come with more gadgets instead of beakers. Like Bishop's time travel band, or an inhibitor collar.

We basically got new suit Rogue recently in the Pyro 2 pack.
Is that the look or was it more like the savage land one that came out last year?
I would love to see some of the Shi'ar characters like Deathbird or an updated Gladiator.
I was thinking this would be a good way to get her. Maybe just give them more of a green light to add them as a 2 pack for comic style.

I think we get beast jubilee forge cable morph bastion for wave 3 an wave 4 I think we get 3 sunspot one with his power on one that he is suited and another with his civilian cloths and then we get Mr sinister brown suited wolverine and jubilee with her balck suit and for wave 5 we get morph cyclop Jean rouge storm and cable in his new suit all of them in wave 5 we get in new suits
That’s a lot of sunspot for one wave. Maybe that would be a deluxe pack or something.

They're struggling currently in the ratings so I doubt another X-Men '97 wave would be precedent over other Categories in Marvel Legends that still need to finished....* X-Men Movie Wave, X-Men Animated VHS, Gen X, AoA. I just call Morph the "You" character....or the "Person" it's a neutral term in regards to political messaging.
There will absolutely be another wave of x-men 97 figures, well before any more vhs or AoA figures.
Yeah I’m with Jules on this one. I’d bet the farm on another xmen 97 wave or at the very least another figure (deluxe or something) announced before the end of the year.
how is 4 million views in 5 days struggling; its the most watched Marvel series in D+ and I think even the highest rated. The only people saying the ratings are terrible are grifters on YT who are mad that Morph was referred to as "they" once or twice in the show :|
