Kane is already being overshadowed by Haaland. Even if he were to join Newcastle (unlikely) and does extremely well for them, he'll still be behind Haaland in terms of records being broken, because Haaland is simply a better striker. That's the brutal truth.
Kane goes missing in the really big games - Haaland doesn't. Kane would have gone AWOL against Bayern. Haaland stepped up to the plate and delivered. In really high pressure situations Kane is found wanting alot of the time. Haaland is mentally tougher.

I'll point something out here. Daniel levy is being debated as emotional vs financial. Both don't describe him. Emotional would be to spend 100s of millions to save the club in bad investments, even when you know that fact beforehand, to buy your club a new lease of life. Logical would be to strip it to parts. But since Tottenham are not in that tattered stage yet, logical and cold and calculated would be to spend little on the right things and just get away with champions league or europa league.
What Daniel levy is doing is trying to scam you by eating at a Michelin star restaurant, and get away with paying a penny.
The LOGICAL/FINANCIALLY prudent thing to do would be to sell Harry Kane at a time when he's at a good value, use that money to bring in 4-5 players, pay less, aim lower and get the job done.
Considering levy hasn't done any of the prudent things to do, the responsible things, you can only classify him as greedy and deluded, not "financially ruthless/logical" don't insult ruthlessness and logic by mentioning Daniel levy in the same sentence. He used to be ruthless, now he's just a greedy entrenched moron.

Completely agree, also next year they will have European football. This year they have massively benefited from playing once a week and Chelsea and Liverpool being absolutely no competition for top four. Its called banter. He's trying to rub it in, like being cheeky, "Learn from Arsenal". He's always doing that and you fell for it. Take it at face vaule.
I don't agree though about this 'one-off' narrative about arsenal. I don't think you are seeing what is happening at arsenal.
Our owners want us to be a competitive club again. They are invested in their vision/backing it. We are seeing 3 years of building towards where we are now, from a huge discussion at board level with Arteta and Edu from 3 years ago. A vision towards being a competitive club again and challenging for league titles. We are just slightly ahead of schedule. I don't expect other fans to know all the in's and out's of arsenal, but our owners have completely changed, now that they are sole owners.
There is a shift at the club: culture, style of play/system, mentality, recruitment, etc. Its sustainable, which is the key and most important thing.
Arteta hasn't finished developing the team yet. His on phase 3 of 5, from his pov.
I don't think this young, developing Arsenal side, all gaining experience, as well as Arteta , are just going to disappear...
There are no guarantees. But that is the same for any club and it takes a number of factors to be a competitive club. Whenever a club goes on to have a successful period, its down to what? A sugar daddy owner, owners with a vision, aligned with the mangers/staff at the club, or a very talented manager is appointed, etc., etc. Just look back at the last 30 years of the PL. Its the cycle of football...
I hear what you're saying, just at the same time, I wouldn't take it for granted that the recent 'status quo' of clubs will just resume next season...
      We will see...
