Only person on this programe with a chance of sorting him self out is the lad who got the job at the pork pie factory. If he sorts him self out he will do fine the others are wasters and will never change
Joe Lloyd agreed , I think his name is Sam, he seems like he can change his life around
@@sarahbristerr he seems like he wants too. The others seem like little kids still who have no sense of direction. He said he didn't really want to work at the factory but he did anyway cause a jobs a job and that says something.
@@aurielle7766 He's mature enough to realise that a job keeps him out of trouble, that a job is the next step. A job is a positive indicator, and will do him well when he goes to court next.
He is the only one who has the support of his family though, so that could be helping him.
Exactly
Joe Lloyd just cuz he got huaraches
Sam actually seems like a decent guy. Sense of humour aswell, hope he does well in life.
Aaaaaa
I know he is really calm and decent he looks like he should even be in jail in the first place.

@@joed7599 You sound like an idiot. First off he said wasteman not whiteman. Second there's over 1 billion people in india. That means 1% of the population is more then 10 million people. The amount of people in the UK roughly make 6% of people in india. What percentage of the UK are chavs? Can you imagine what that would look like if the population was over 1 000 000 000 (1 billion)
Scum bags are everywhere especially the UK
I like Sam, he’s much more mature than others his age. Brilliant sense of humour, he loves his mum and sister and he’s lovely to his dog! I hope his life is full of good stuff and he manages to get where he wants to.
How do these men have one girlfriend, break up violently, and have another committed girlfriend by 8 the next morning?
The circles they mix with are pond scum
Some men are charming and know how to spot the weak ones who are as dysfunctional as they are. Maybe he considers a one night stand to be his new girlfriend.
It’s the socio-economic circles they’re from, they don’t perceive things how most people would because they’re thick as shit, I like the pork pie lad tho
They're brick ugly
He just met her at the fish'n'chip shop!!
What amazes me is that these people are able to find girlfriends.
There are a lot of pathetic women out there with low self esteem. Their fathers were probably not around and/or they have seen their mothers being treated like crap and been deserted by fathers of their children, they are just repeating learned behaviours.
@@daniellebromley8045 Yes sister!!
It is our duty to break that cycle😊
🤣🤣 Indeed
Sure they can, until their new gf has a broken eye socket ..
Anyone can get anything if they really want it and are prepared to do what it takes to get it. Even 700 pound men have girlfriends and 700 pound women have boyfriends.
Sam is hilarious! He's obviously not crazy about the job at the pork pie factory, but he's making the best of it. I think he'll do well.
that job will end up killing him, minimium wage just makes you wanna slash up, by time you paid rent and busfare and pack lunch you got nowt left
just getting paid to pay your rent and get to work
If he did well I reckon he could move up the ladder there though. like imagine 5 years later pork pie tag boy becomes ex convict head of pork pie production .

Out of all these guys Sam is the one who seems to have his head screwed on and genuinely stands a good chance of staying out of prison. Having the support of his mother and sister is also a major factor. The other two are almost lost causes, especially Reece who changes girlfriends at the drop of a hat. No thought about his unborn child. His new girlfriend is really aiming high being with him. With Christian, I feel sorry for the guy considering his history having come through the care home/foster system, never having anyone other than his girlfriend and the guys at the probation house looking out and caring about him.
Prison doesn't rehabilitate. It just keeps you away from the general public for a length of time.

Yrs ago my son was in prison won't mention the one when prison was prison they had hard drugs at night like a blues party nothing changed today they even put something red on their cell light they were all happy

Yeah it's no excuse. My parents are drug addicts and alcoholics and my siblings are smackheads. I moved away and my kids live a happy healthy life with none of this bullshit.
a vicious cycle , if you want something bad enough you can get out off it . i had a shit upbringing in a shit hole ,without food and nice cloths etc . been to prison loads of times then i moved country and started a business. now i have all the stuff i never had and is as happy as can be . the people in this show will never have nothing because they don´t want it bad enough .
Facts, i hope i dont become like that. Thoughts go with them though. I feel their pain.

My counselor whom I've worked with for several years used to work with kids in prisons who had really bad ADHD. So I sort of feel empathy for Christian, since I also have ADHD. She said the kids she used to work with wouldn't be able to control the impulse to steal or do whatever would get their brains dopamine. When it's really bad, life seems pointless outside of the few things that make you feel less dead.
They're still responsible, obviously but you never know what it's like living in someone else's head, so don't criticize them just because they're not acting how you wish they would.

Imagine having to put your child up due to domestic violence and then going back to that person 🙄 bloody fools!
It’s mad
The guy that works in he factory is a good person you can tell. He made a silly mistake, once.
Unlike all the others where they keep making the same mistakes
I think he's a bit of a brawler from his mannerisms. I think he's had loads of street fights and in this last one he just did a lot of damage and went to prison.
Michael Hayes Why does everyone like him? Because he’s good looking? I see a lot of anger and contempt in his mannerisms and way of speaking, he ends all sentences like a statement, ‘Like. This.’ When talking about his crime in the first episode he showed no remorse or empathy and even pleasure and ‘duping delight’ when referring to breaking a man’s jaw. I’d guess he has a short temper and would be more-than-average inclined to resort to physical violence, from the way he speaks and his body language.
I wonder if you’d still consider it “a silly mistake” if you were his victim! I don’t know how it is in the UK but here in Canada you wouldn’t get a 5 year prison sentence like he did for a first offence. I suspect he has quite the history or there was something more to his conviction that he’s not saying.
All that said, he does seem like a decent guy and being that so much time has passed between when this was filmed and now I certainly hope he’s doing well, he’s happy and he’s staying out of trouble.
"we are all worth so much more and deserve a life where we all flourish" - quote not mine but I agree. Unfortunately, the systemic problems of our society are a result of how we've built it and so long as there is no reform that speaks of human dignity and equity, that shows true respect for human rights and that which espouses empathy, kindness, rehabilitation and mercy, then always expect some tragedy to befall on society's people.
Some of these people make me laugh. I was on tag for a month after leaving prison. It was a bit annoying as all I did was work but it isn't as bad as some make out. I just made sure I enjoyed myself on weekends and spent my weekday evenings reading or watching RUclips. It's not the end of the world.
you're freer on the weekends?
@@imlookingforthetoweroflear7871 My tag times where the same but I didn't work weekends. It was a lot more freedom than when I was in a cell for most of the day

Shane Sawyer so tag is equivalent of parole in America? We have parole for after prison and probation for a suspended sentence where if you do all this BS and don’t get in any trouble for 1+ years (depends how long based on the judge/prosecutor)
Shane Sawyer yeah, once you’ve been to jail/prison you become very grateful and quit taking things for granted. Just being outside in the sunshine is amazing.

That Sam guy seems alright. You just wanna shake him and say “Mate! Get it together!”.
The other lot just need to have Dunce caps glued to their heads.....
The only one out of these 3 lads who have any chance of rehabilitating themselves is Sam, he doesn't seem a bad bloke deep down, just needs to start taking some responsibility, but he has enough sense to realise that a job is the next step forward, and keeps him out of trouble. The other 2 sadly seems like they will just keep re-offending, and it's likely they won't change. It's a vicious cycle though, through generations to generations.
I noticed that Reece seems super controlling and possessive especially the ton of voice he had when she showed him the scan photos. I hope she finds somewhere safe.
These young men have no empathy or remorse. I know it's TV but sad truth is they will reoffend and are a danger to the rest of society. Up to 20% of society is unable to work or follow rules, either due to some type of illness or low cognitive performance. And there is no known solution for what to do with the millions who fall into this category.
Most sensible comment. What I don't understand is what kind of woman would want a kid with one of these people. I see it a lot on free dating sites, where a lot of these creatures lurk.
Many seem to want a kid, despite already having ones that they never see or treat horridly. Therefore purpetuating another generation of damage. I think a good start would be sterilisation

I was on tag for well over a year, mainly as part of a bail condition. I can assure you that my tag was never on show and most of my friends and family had no idea I was on tag. One guy on here was wearing shorts ffs. These guys seem to show it off and think it's a bit of "street cred". To me, it was embarrassing. I don't want people to know I've broken the law. These guys relish it!!!
Just curious what did you do to have it for a year for
Lochmantay well I was on bail for well over 1 1/2 years. I had a bail condition to not communicate with my best mate and I just couldn’t stick to it. I was found to be with him and put on tag until my court appearance which was about 9 months later. Then my sentence included 3 months on tag 9pm-6am. Totalled about a year.
My offence was possession if some offensive weapons and a drug offence.
I no exactly what ur saying. Some people enjoy their criminal lifestyle..I think it's all they have. Luckily I had other things in my life and it helped to change my ways.
The guy who works at the pork pie factor is blaming everyone else but himself. He’s making it seem like being on tag is unfair on him when he’s actually lucky he’s not in jail. He committed a crime, he needs to accept that he is a criminal.
