Love the DC2! You got a great deal. Obviously you can turbo that and easily make 400-600 on stock internals. If it was mine I think I’d leave it NA and make it a clean,fun street car. Happy for you man!

Feel you about turning your hobby into a job, I'm so glad I got out of being a mechanic and moved on to become an industrial electrician instead. Make twice as much money as i did and still enjoy working on my shitboxes in my spare time

I'm happy that car found the right home and has so much potential now. Also side note, I've been studying all the places these integras leak and one easy thing to do is make a little shield to put over the blower box hole under the cowl to keep water from dripping into the ECU area.
The transmissions are synchronized, next time you have to reverse.. Put the car in first before reverse it'll save you synchros life and it'll go into reverse like butter💯welcome to the Kclub

I had a dc2 integra 1995 I loved that car , 8000 rpm all day lol. Slow but super fun to drive in the twistys
I’ve got the same set up in my eg. Make sure you have a k20a2 oil pump if your gonna keep turning 8 and 9k lol and you can drill out the thermostat hole with the same size bit and it’ll bleed right it’s a struggle trying to get the air pockets out but I learned the thermostat trick from keep gunning. Don’t get rid of this set up
I love PFI and Boosted Boyz etc... But I think I like HT better... because I learn more on this channel. That and one guys doing all the speaking really helps with people understanding exactly what's going on versus 5 people in one video. Doing the basics over and over and over again is perfectly fine because as any long term mechanic knows and will tell you - just because you've done the job before doesn't mean that very same job won't challenge you physically, intellectually and financially the next time... or the next 10 times. As a matter of fact, looking back - the first time I did a particular job / repair - in just about every case I got super lucky. Doing the same job later on - it was much harder with more problems... strange.

We just dropped a FRESH k20z1 / Skunk2 valve springs, stage 2 cams in my 03 DC5 RSX Type S. The OEM K20a2 had 215,000+ miles and was still running like a 💪 champ🏁.

Damn, you finally got one :) Great video man- Rippin w/ Hunter. Hope to see some good stuff get done to this ride. May I suggest Progress Auto coilovers. I run the adjustable rebound version. But what's great about Progress is you can choose which spring rates you want for front and rear. I went w/ 450 lb springs in the front AND rear (in the rear because I have 350 lbs worth of audio equipment back there.) Otherwise, I feel 450 lb springs in the front and like 250 or 350 lb springs in the rear for your ride would be amazing.

If it has a K swap you will need to change all upper and lower ball joints and all of the bushings front to rear trust if not it will just get loose every few months until you eventually change them all good luck.

Pick up a 2007-2012 RDX thermostat/outlet housing. It bolts directly to that K24A2 inner housing and points down around the 5 o'clock position. Easy button!!!

I think ajusting the sterring wheel is a really bad ideea, the rack is moved slightly to one side and it affect the point where the tie rod ataches to, it should be paralel with the suspension arm and you can fuck those angle out, just let the steering wheel where it is and get new steering stuff and an alignment

the fuel guage issue might be the leveling unit in the fuel pump housing itself. gonna have to replace the whole fuel pump housing. had this issue myself on my k24 DC5 type s. simple fix tho

dude this looks so fun. I have my 93 del sol with a k24a4 that im getting ready for the road. I just got my base map from HAmotorsports and im trying to figure out the O2 sensor and im just going to do a AEM wideband. Makes me want to get out there and rip in my car. So cool keep up the cool content.

@@timothy2182 the ha basemap I received wouldn’t even rev over 4K lol. Have ordered several from Jason waters with no issue. One of the best tuners in the southeast.
