Watching your videos as of recently I thought about getting a dog, but now that you have not slept for over a week... I have two questions (and please excuse my ignorance, I am a 'city guy' and never had similar experiences):1) WHY there is no sleep because of a new dog (I have had cats and I was sleeping just fine, the only thing is they wake me up at 5AM, but that's okay and to be expected, animals have natural biorhythms us humans have lost especially living in the city) and 2) is this specific to a) the dog itself (Nala) or b) to the bread (Husky I believe) or c) to all new dogs while they are getting accustomed to the new home. Thanks and thank you for the amazing videography, I love watching your videos.

I left a corporate job in 2014, and moved to the countryside in the Himalayas in 2018. Then problems crept in. I had a major health problem last year and was in a hospital for many months. Things went topsy turvy. Me and my girl friend couldn't meet for over a year due to the covid virus and drifted apart. Your videos give a lot of hope that miracles happen. I will be moving back to my countryside home soon. It has been locked for over a year now. Let's see where life takes me from there

I would like to comment on the fact that there is never a perfect time to do something. Since I'm a perfectionist, I always have this idea of "no, not now..its not perfect yet.. I cannot do it right now..later for sure when it's perfect". I lost so many things because of this mentally, and I am still struggling to overcome this and just do things even if they are not perfect. Thank you for talking about this, it was a nice reminder!

Other than the fact that it is never the 'right' time to get a puppy, have kids, give up your job, move house etc it is also important to remember that you only have one life, this is not a rehearsal, you don't get to do it again! GO for your dreams, don't be too scared to make that change and make your life as enjoyable as you possibly can. I adore your channel. My husband and I are much older now, raised 5 children, have had several generations of pets, have run 2 small businesses while raising our family and are still working, but if we could do it over again...we would sell all we have and move to the remote areas of Sweden. My husband lived in Germany for 4 years. Thanks so much for your channel. You both are so lovely, honest and real. It's refreshing!!

As always the filming and commentary is brilliant I like the drone shots which show the different colours of the trees as your seasons change,, we don’t have that here not as dramatic a change. What a stunning pup. I don’t think tradition is paid enough attention to these days, modern builds give you 6 years structural guarantee, the County that was born in in the UK some buildings are over 400 years old and still habitable. Another great video. Enjoyed the segment on the repair of the wood shed. Many years ago I built log cabins from scratch in the Alaska bush using the same techniques and tools, working with cabin craftsmen from Kentucky.
