This made me so nostalgic. I’m danish but used to live in a small town near Hudiksvall. I miss not having a tv and spending most nights walking around the beautiful lakes, I miss the forests, the community of small town living, swedes making fun of my accent, I miss the snow. Sollefteå looks beautiful, thanks for sharing.
@europeisbetterthan5269 It's a beautiful place. When I contemplate living in Sweden, it is certainly a place like the video shows, as opppsed to Stockholm or Malmo. Which places in Sweden did you visit? I'm sure that Sweden was probably a far more desirable place to live 3 or 4 decades ago than it is today?
Sweden is such a beautiful country with beautiful people. As an immigrant from Africa who used to live in Sweden, I feel very sad when I read about all the crimes there being committed by some recent immigrants and also when I hear the fears other immigrants are exposed to as a result of the recent racial tensions in the country. I still miss Sweden and will always wish the country to continue progressing. They are such good people with kind hearts. God bless Sweden.
Last year on my trip up north, my car broke down and I stayed there for two days and all the people I met were so welcoming and friendly. I said to someone that was a good reason to move there. ❤️
What an amazingly beautiful place! I love all the details you included - outdoor recreation, coffee shops, safe schools, community pool. I love that everyone you interviewed said the people there are the best part. What a kind community. I hope to visit someday and stay in that hotel on the top of the hill! Much love to you and Christine from Portland, Oregon, USA
I hope you do show what type items you guys buy for your typical groceries and give us an idea of your prices. But no needs to go item by item to give a price. An overall average price would be fine.😀
Hej Calle, I am writing this from Venice, California and am so impressed with your videos…that are not only informative but are filled with your humanity and sense of the goodness around the area in which you, I’m not Swedish but have been married to a Swedish gal for many, many years. I’ve traveled to Northern Sweden in winter only once ( to a Marknad) and am jealous of your experiences. Your photography/ videography are stunning….i hope you will continue producing them.
Thank you for uploading it makes me calm. I have a bad stage 4 cancer day. This is really helping me with the pain. Love from South Africa. At long last I am moving to a small village in the Eastern Cape on the 28th of November. Then I will start natural protocol. In the mean time your videos is helping me tremendously! Thank you Kalle.
Så fantastisk video! Jag bor i Sollefteå och har gjort i hela mitt liv. Kommer aldrig flytta härifrån! Så kul att se att fler börjar förstå vilken magisk plats det är ♡ Tack för videon!
One of the things that my wife and I were struck by when we visited Sweden a few years ago was how the town was interwoven into, and a part of, the nature. I’ve never experienced this anywhere else. Also, the alcohol stores had such limited hours that were right in the middle of the day, that we never could get any wine because we were always out exploring and hiking! It was interesting to see how different that was compared to the US.
Watching from Melbourne Australia. What an awesome town and your video brought out some outstanding elements of the lifestyle there. Also like usual it was well filmed. Really makes me want to visit. You should do more of these videos of the area. ❤
Loved this episode ! You have the best of both worlds. Your beautiful cabin in the woods and a sweet small town not too far away. ! Plus the magic of the 4 seasons ! That is a good life ! I wish you both good health and a happy life 🌷💕🌷
Before moving to Alaska, I wanted to move to northern Sweden. This video made me remember some of the reasons why; to be honest, ALL your videos do that (eventhough i love Alaska). I love small towns. Anchorage is too big for me, eventhough it is unlike cities in lower 48. But I would love it if you did a grocery tour video and showed how much it cost for items you both buy. Food prices are going up everywhere, and I am curious to know if inflation has hit your area. Housing prices are certainly so much better there! 😊 🌲 🇸🇪
Very sweet looking place! Rather similar to my place here in Finland, we just don't have mountains! Just found your channel and enjoying all those lovely views! I must say countryside people in Sweden sound just the same as here!😄👍
The job websites you posted are very helpful. My wife and I were originally looking at Sundsvall, but we may look into this place as well. Tack så mycket
it’s really comforting to hear you describe your area. They are almost identical qualities that we have here in the northeast kingdom of Vermont. We live in the woods as well and have deep winters but our small town has all of the commodities that you listed, Hospital pharmacy art center a café supermarket hotel library. We also have the beautiful park and little stream and best of all, wonderful people who are friendly. Thank you for making this kind of post showing your extended environment
Hello from a fellow Vermonter! I love Kalle's videos for some of the same things. Something I wonder about is the population. Is it growing, shrinking like in Vermont, or fairly stable? We are seeing our schools lose so much because of the decline in population.
Thank you for this, this is home, my roots, the on place that kept me grounded. Wherever I moved and even if I was brought up in Stockholm, this was always home, the one place that always was there. This is what I think of when I think about home. Where we spent all our free time, every holiday, summers and winter breaks... This is what I miss the most. The clean fresh air, lakes, pine trees, birches, the food, rainy days. I guess everything, but going in to town Sollefteå was the highlights of the year! Our tiny little village, if you can even call ot that, a little place in Graninge is about 40 min away or so, so it didn't happen to often lol! Vilken hemlängtan det fick... Thank you for this movie, it really made my day!
gosh, that store clerk sounds EXACTLY like my grandmother! Sollefteå is my moms home town, I really should go there with her while she is still spry enough to show me around.
Thank you for making a video about this cozy little town :) I enjoyed watching it a lot! I would personally love to see a video about what foods you guys buy and the costs👍
Since last winter I've had this plan/dream of moving to a very similar (or nearby, into a similar cabin like yours) town in northern Finland (I'm Finnish). The town has almost the same population, facilities and landscapes also. My only concern has been leaving everybody I know behind into this big city I live now. However, this video made me realize that there is nothing to worry about! Thanks
I also was there before😊(I´m from Germany actually). It was so nice to recognize some places in your video! So thank you for that.🧡 It made me really happy to see this lovely town again 😍💛
Tack för en helt underbar film om mitt favoritställe i Världen! Jag kom hit från Köpenhamn som 27-åring 1978 och är fortfarande kvar! Kul att höra att din sambo också är "Københavner".
Hej Kalle! I really loved this video. You totally sold that town to me. I’m going to have to do a road trip to Sollefteå soon, it’s just 3 hours away from me and I’ve never been there. Thanks for sharing and helsa till Christine 🙂
It is wonderful there is people like you who show us some underrated places in the world! You definitely made me put Sollefteå as one of the places I want to visit in the future! I was impressed by the nature, the festivals, the marked four seasons in the year and the people, who is very friendly! 😊 Congratulations for this video! People like you make this world more interesting! Greetings from Zacatecas, a small city located in the central part of Mexico! 😄✋😊
Super video Kalle! Many thanks for following up on the requests to show more about where you live. The video was very enlightening. Was striking to me how clean and attractive the town is -- no litter or garbage, big signs, or huge parking lots/lots of pavement. Very appealing. Yes, I would enjoy a video about the food you buy, including costs. Perhaps also note if food is taxed, and if so, how much. Would be interesting to know where the food comes from -- local area or elsewhere from Sweden versus imported. Many thanks Kalle. Kudos to you and the local government and your pal gym owner for their fine contributions.
Oh my goodness, this is such an ideal place to live! Away from city chaos, in the deep nature, yet with an easy access to anything thats needed in life. Awesome!!! My dream to come true one of these days. Thank you so much for showing us all the beauty we are surrounded with ❤️.
alltid lika kul att se och höra folks berättelser om att flytta upp till norr. vi håller på att leta ställe nu och kommer flytta upp så fort rätt ställe dyker upp
What a beautiful place! I was thinking you lived in the middle of nowhere, hours from people, but that town is just the best! You really have the best of both worlds, love that the people are so friendly.
Oh wow! I´m really happy that YT introduced me to your great video! This is a great video, thank you Kalle! Sweden has been the dream country of mine and my friends since 25 years, we spent lots of holidays around sweden, mostly dreaming of moving to sweden some day. And now I´ve been living in the countryside of Northern Germany near the town Wacken which hosts the famous heavy metal festival once a year. We had a wooden Swedish House built, painted in Falun Red, with white windows etc. Our little "Sweden-Paradis". Besides the festival it is really cosy around here, too. Everybody saying hi to each other in our village. Lots of fields, small woods and a swamp that is partially a nature reserve. Hamburg is about an hour away, so there are quite some folks commuting to work from here. All in all our village and neighbouring Wacken is great to live in, but compared to the vast nature and remoteness of Swedens countryside it is of course quite crowded. I really love that remoteness in sweden, the vast woods, all these lakes and of course the Allemansretten. The snow in wintertime in northern sweden! That is so precious! In northern Germany we get really little snow, not even every year. You made me dream of sweden again, Kalle! I haven´t been north of Stockholm so far, but I definitly will! Spending a winter holiday with our Husky Mix, learning to go crosscountry skiing would be great! Our son applied for Umea university, if he gets a place there, we will definitely come and visit solleleftea. Again, thanks a lot Kalle!
Oh my gosh what a beautiful village! I've always wanted to visit Sweden and when I do, This town will be on my list of places to see. Thank you so much for this video! All the best
Thank you for the tour. I'm moving from the USA to a small town in the south of France. Your town of Sollefteå reminds me of Axat. I recently discovered your channel. 🙂
Hey Kalle, I have missed many of your live streams lately so just wanted to show support for your channel, keep up with the great videos, I always feel really inspired after watching them, great to see your channel growing strong, keep smiling :-D
You showed so well in this video how life is all about balance. Having the possibility to live in the middle of nature while being able to take a quick trip into town. Such a nice place you chose as your home.❤️❤️ And such a nice collaboration - felt a bit like a love letter to your chosen home.😊 We moved to Sweden this year and we always felt so welcome here, so we could very much relate to your video. Can't wait for the next one.
Congrats on that move! Whereabouts did you move to, and from where? We're hoping to move from The Netherlands to the north ourselves next year. I'm very much looking forward to it, just a bit nervous about all the bureaucratic stuff with migrationsverket...
@@AGooseInSweden we moved to the South of Sweden from Germany.😊 Crossing our fingers for your move, the bureaucratic stuff is not as bad as you might think! And people are very helpful there.💕
As a Minnesotan of Swedish heritage, I so enjoy your vlogs! Listening to the conversations in your language remind me of my grandparents. As a child, I never understood a word they were saying, but it was and still is very soothing to hear.
Also a Minnesota raised and of Swedish heritage person, I love 💕 watching you, Kalle, and Christine living in Northern Sweden. My Farfar is from this northern area somewhere and it’s no surprise to me at all that he choose to settle in Northeastern Minnesota as it resembles Northern Sweden in many ways. I grew up on the original homestead as a second generation American. I like to feel like I’m finally home. 😊
I'm also an American with Swedish heritage, my grandfather was born in a small town about 100km from here. I can imagine my retirement here, especially with the low cost of houses.
Its fascinating and awesome to hear lot of Swedish heritage are from Minnesota, My father side apparently have cousins living there, Exciting to know having some heritage in america. Certainly recommend to take a trip too the places like this in Sweden, I am certain you will like the northern nature, activities and the best of all the food. we are closing in to winter too!
@@Eaglebrace Minnesota was home to many Swedish immigrant settlements during the latter half of the 19th century. The landscape and climate reminded them of home, I was told. My great-grandfather came at the age of 18 and was a lumberman near Stillwater, MN. He met my great-grandmother there, who was also an immigrant. They took advantage of the Homestead Act and established their own successful farm, which remained in the family for 75 years. They belonged to a Swedish Lutheran Church in their community, where the sermons were preached in Swedish up until 1945. I look forward to visiting Sweden and the places where my forebears called home before they came to America. My father's side were Norwegian, so I plan to go there, too.
My grandfather and his brother moved from northern Sweden in the mid-1920s, along with their uncle Gustav. Grandpa Bror settled in the Chicago area, Uncle Philip moved to one of the Carolinas, but Uncle Gus settled near Minneapolis after moving back and forth between Chicago and Alaska for a few decades before and after the war. In my family photos I’ve inherited, I have a great one where Gus wrote on the back “What I did on my 55th birthday,” and it was a terrific photo of him ski-jumping in Alaska! I never met Uncle Philip since he died the year I was born, but I was fortunate enough to have met Uncle Gus once when we spent our summer vacation in MI, WI, and MN. He was a really cool elderly man who stayed up until 4 am playing pinochle and then got up on Sunday morning to watch old-school pro wrestling. Both he and Grandpa had lovely Swedish lilts in their voices. I especially remember Grandpa’s and how he would call me his “little sweetheart.”
I found this to be a very fun, genuine and sweet video. I grew up in the Dutch countryside - population density in these farmlands is still around 400 people per square kilometer, as opposed to 900-ish for Sollefteå in the actual town. Sollefteå kommun as a whole is around 3-ish people per square kilometer, for reference! Anyways, where we lived was middle-of-nowhere by Dutch standards, and I do recognize many of these nice things. Knowing the people that drive by, actually knowing the store employees, having a baker that you talk to twice a week. Saying hi to people in the streets. Living in the city, I frankly feel almost uncomfortable with the thought of that last one now, but it's so much nicer to feel welcome. The Netherlands is too busy for our tastes, though , even in "the middle of nowhere". Because of that, my partner and I are planning to move to Northern Sweden next year, though we are more tempted towards the more rugged landscapes of the Norwegian border if we have the choice, but you make a good case for Sollefteå! Hopefully we'll get all these lovely country-side things back in our lives and get to have more meaningful connection with the world, nature and people around us!
I was born in Sollefteå and was raised in the High Coast. Then in the early 00’s I moved out. Now we have moved back home and actually moved to Sollefteå. Just lovely!
So very beautiful!! The town and the people! Thanks for helping us get to know the beauty of your area. Really warm and friendly people. Oh and I would love more about the food you and Christine choose to include in your life ❤
This is fantastic! I was born in Sollefteå and lived there until I was 3 years old before we moved to Stockholm. Since I don't remember a lot, my parents keep telling me how beautiful it was. Bra video Kalle!
What a wonderful town! I especially love the forest and mountains all around. Yes, please do a video about your food shopping, that would be fun to see.
What a lovely, welcoming, vibrant town. I’m glad you two live surrounded by such beauty. You both made big moves- I’m glad you’ve found great results. ❤
That is such a wonderful & Beautiful village you live in! Yes, please I would be interested to see the food 🥑🥝 you buy at the market and the cost. Thank you
Waw I love this video! When we see your videos about life at the cabin (which are absolutely amazing), it can give us a biased impression that your life is only that, as we just see this aspect of your life. But seeing this video about this town makes me realize the amount of balance you can find in your everyday life which is so inspiring. You litterally have the best of both worlds with this configuration and that is exactly what i want to build for my own life. Thank you so much for sharing this 💫
Kalle, thank you SO MUCH for this video! This place really seems to check all the boxes for me! I will visit (or stay) soon for sure! So happy right now 😊
My Grandma is born and raised in Sollefteå, I've been very interested in the town going there a few times by myself to look at her old house and stuff. A few weeks she and my grandpa went there, and when she came home she said "I'm never going back", she felt like the city was dead since the main street was empty of people, didn't have any outdoor servings left, and so on. It broke my heart, since I know how much she loves this little town. She wrote a small book about her early life and what it was like to grow up in Sollefteå in the 40s-50s, she wrote about everything from when they "built" the ski slope, that they had to stomp the snow themselves to be able to ski, to her and her friend riding their "spark" under the train bar at full speed when a train was coming in. It's such fun reading and I'll make sure to visit Sollefteå even more for my grandma, and stay at the camping or Hallstaberget.
Gosh, this really seems like the perfect place to live! You have the best of both worlds, being close to a small city but also to beautiful nature. I hope to find a place like this to live there one day. 🌲💚
Thank you - such a beautiful town - my wife is actually from this town, so I am kind of already in love with this place for sending me this beautiful soul to teach me about love and all of the good things this life has to offer. We both really need a break after staying home for 2+ years, this will definitely be one of our first ventures out into the world again for 2023.
What a little paradise on earth! Love your videos. I am watching your videos from Brisbane, Australia, your videos always make me want to go visit remote towns in Sweden! I'd love to see the snow, mountains...what a complete contrast to the climate here in my home town.
Ok, sign me up! what a beautiful place, there seems to be so much peace and tranquillity. Glad you and Christine have a lovely town to go to with all the essential amenities and be able to socialise without feeling too overwhelmed by everything. As you said, it is important to have some balance in our lives and Solleftea seems to be the place to offer that balance.
Thank you sooooo much for this video! It made me smile from beginning to end. I am emigrating in 2 months from the netherlands to sweden, 45 minutes from sollefteå and i was already wondering how this town would be. Looking forward to seeing and maybe living there myself. Tack så mycket!
You, Jonna and Talasbuan have really made me want to move to northern Sweden someday! It is so incredibly beautiful up there!! You mentioned doing a grocery haul video, I'd love to see one
Really good video Kalle. I’m in Jämtland right now, not too far away from this town. Maybe I’ll visit it. And if not then probably on my next Sweden trip which I will hopefully go on soon after this one. You live in a beautiful country and I love visiting it.
I have added your city to my list of places to visit in Sweden. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place, kind of reminds me of Brattleboro, Vermont, USA.
Please make the video about the food you shop and the prices! Those mundane things are really interesting for people from different countries like me😊 Thanks for the great video🤗
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and town. I have visiting Sweden high on my bucket list- to see the beautiful country and people, as well as visit the places my great grandparents lived.
@@viktoriaberg8706 My father was there about ten years ago and enjoyed seeing it. Both my great-grandfather and his father were the ferryboat operators over the Lule River in Gäddvik before the first bridge was built in the 1940s.
That's amazing! The Gäddvik bridge is very beautiful, I think, I often cross it, and the Bergnäs bridge, on my way home from grocery shopping, just because I enjoy them and the view of the river so much. There is a salmon fishing museum in Gäddvik, and probably things there your ancestors would have had and used. 😊👍
Well that's a coincidence. I live in Austria and thought about visiting Sweden. I didn't know where to go, but you just presented the answer, thank you very much :)
Yes! Video on food, or anything else. I absolutely love your videos, regardless of topic. They give me a perspective that is more calm, filled with peace, acceptance, love, appreciation of, and care for, others. These are all things currently in short supply in my own life/community/country (U.S.) Thank you for sharing all of these things. I look forward to your next video.❤
Thank you for your very interesting vlogs. I'm 71 and am originally from South Africa. My husband and I moved to the UK 16 years ago and for a South African it was a huge culture shock. I thought that because one of my languages is English, the other Afrikaans, bit like Dutch or Flemish, it would be easy to adapt. Although I lived in Johannesburg until I was 54, people are so different and friendly. English people are very reserved. We live in Cambridge, a university city. We came here for free medical help for my British born husband, so different to SA. My husband had a hip replacement and it was a mess, but nothing was done to rectify it. He has been disabled in bed for 9 years. We live in a community with quite a few older people and even when you invite them they still will not bother to come and visit. When you talked about the supermarket where people talk to you, I was quite jealous. Here after going to the same supermarket for 16 years, they still don't talk to you. I just take a scanner and help myself. It is so lonely. I have got two friends, the one is German and the other one is Polish and they are always there for us. Your town is so civilised and friendly and the beautiful nature on your doorstep, that is what you need. If I want decent coffee, I need to go to Costa or Nero, immigrants who are proud of what they do. My son lives in Taiwan and my daughter in South Africa and when the time comes I will be on the first plane to South Africa. I really enjoy your life you share and please keep up the good work. I think you have a peace of paradise. 😊
I wonder if foreigners are welcome in that town. I live in Sweden married to a Swede, but we both find people in Sweden very cold and xenophobique, sorry that's a reality. If you want to have friends you can't wait a 1000 years. They usually have their "true" friends when they are at school/university. Cambridge might not be a place foreigners/elderly, we used to have friends near cambridge. We live in 3 other cities in England including London and it was not that bad at the time but we were not your age. In general the elderly in Europe (including England and Sweden) are not taken care of unlike other warmer cultures do. All the best to you.
I never really thought much about Sweden until recently. It's very perfect looking. It it looks like they have great communities. Thanks for the video!

What a beautiful town! I love seeing how people in other parts of the world live so I’d like to see you grocery shop. I live in a hot climate without snow so I’m really looking forward to your Winter videos.
Really nice video Kalle thanks for showing your home town, looks like an awesome place to live and makes me miss the forests of Norrland, although I can't complain about the nature here in Norway either ☺
Love this video! Yes, I would love to watch a video of you going to the grocery store and buying items. Do you make a menu for the week and then go to the grocery store to get your items for the week? Do you go monthly? No wonder you and Christine are so happy. You have the best of both worlds: a small cabin in the woods and then a cute little town to go to for any of your needs.
My husband’s father grew up in your town. We live in California. We are planning to drive there to see if his cousins (MELANDER is their last name) are still living there.
Gnarp? Bergsjö?
Small town (which for me is about 5000 people. Not too small not too big) is the best.
I really loved this video Kalle! Thank you for capturing the beauty of Sollefteå 😍❤
Oh my god, Jonna! Didn't expect to see you here! This kind of video Is always calm & heartwarming like yours!.
Aw, thank you so much Jonna 😍 but I still can't believe that we've never run in to each other there 😅 yet!
Wow it's Jonna! I love your content!
I'm so happy you liked it Rachel 🥰❤Hope you can come by one day soon!
I hope you do show what type items you guys buy for your typical groceries and give us an idea of your prices. But no needs to go item by item to give a price. An overall average price would be fine.😀
Great vlog. Yes for grocery haul, and more of Christine being featured in your vlogs. Thank you. Best from Canada.
Thank you 😊❤️
Hej Calle, I am writing this from Venice, California and am so impressed with your videos…that are not only informative but are filled with your humanity and sense of the goodness around the area in which you, I’m not Swedish but have been married to a Swedish gal for many, many years.
How are you doing today? I hope you’re healing, wishing you the best
Take Turkey Tail Mushrooms or the Extract! Take A Lot!
Wow i want to move to live there too. I m not kidding.
Thank you ☺️ ❤️ You should come and visit!
Nice job with the promotional film. Thank you.
Loved this episode ! You have the best of both worlds. Your beautiful cabin in the woods and a sweet small town not too far away. ! Plus the magic of the 4 seasons ! That is a good life ! I wish you both good health and a happy life 🌷💕🌷
Hi an other Yvonne fan of Kale and christina live it ☺
Before moving to Alaska, I wanted to move to northern Sweden. 😊 🌲 🇸🇪
In Sweden: About 7-9 % inflation hike in the last months, food prices have risen similarly if not more.
One of my favourite videos Kalle ! Yes, I would so enjoy going grocery shopping with you !
it’s really comforting to hear you describe your area.
I went to sollefteå last week, and really liked it. We just have bought a home close by in Bispgården.
Thanks
Finland is amazing
I've moved to the town in Northern Finland 3 years ago and it's been equally wonderful and hard. Still here, so maybe a bit more wonderful 😅
I also was there before😊(I´m from Germany actually). It was so nice to recognize some places in your video! So thank you for that.🧡 It made me really happy to see this lovely town again 😍💛
Your English have also improved greatly in the northern forests! Need to visit Sollefteå, just been passing through before.
Congratulations for this video!
Looks like you have the best of both…Beautiful little town close by..Love your videos..
Yes, love the food videos! More of that would be great. This was a wonderful video. I would love for my family to live like this.
Yes, please! Would love to see what products are available and the prices. Love your videos. Very relaxing.
Wow thank you for sharing Sweden's beauty with us !
Hey Kalle, I have missed many of your live streams lately so just wanted to show support for your channel, keep up with the great videos, I always feel really inspired after watching them, great to see your channel growing strong, keep smiling :-D
Aw, that's really sweet of you to say, thank you so much 🥰❤️
You showed so well in this video how life is all about balance.
The summer up North in Sweden and Sollefteå is really amazing and almost magic! It's truly the best day of the year!
Nice Video, we really enjoy it. Good luck.🌹
What a beautiful town. Thanks for sharing this vid. This is from a fan from the Philippines
This was so wholesome to watch. The music and the videos were a perfect combination! ❤ Now I want to visit this place.
I've just spend a week near Piteå in a cabin and small cities in Sweden are really a different vibe. Enjoyed it so much...
Oh and I would love more about the food you and Christine choose to include in your life ❤
I learned in the last year my great grandfather was from Resele not for from Sollefteå. I hope to visit the area some day.
Absolutely Delightful Kalle, I wish I could by land there! It's so great that You got the Collaboration from that County & The Gym Owner ✌✌
Yes, Sollefteå is a really nice town, I visited there many times when I was younger and lived in the northern part of Sweden.
Thank you so much for sharing this 💫
So cool! I showed this to my wife we are planning a trip to Sweden and will definitely come here!
It's such fun reading and I'll make sure to visit Sollefteå even more for my grandma, and stay at the camping or Hallstaberget.
this video will make people migrate to the town! I'm from Brazil and got myself considering moving hehehe
Gosh, this really seems like the perfect place to live! You have the best of both worlds, being close to a small city but also to beautiful nature. I hope to find a place like this to live there one day. 🌲💚
Welcome to Sollefteå then 😉
Thank you - such a beautiful town - my wife is actually from this town, so I am kind of already in love with this place for sending me this beautiful soul to teach me about love and all of the good things this life has to offer. We both really need a break after staying home for 2+ years, this will definitely be one of our first ventures out into the world again for 2023.
I never(NEVER) comment a video, but wow you are really good at this. Great job man, keep up the good work!
Greetings from your neighbour up in Örnsköldsvik!
Hej fra Danmark. What a lovely and beautiful spot. Thanks for the tour.
Please make the video about the food you shop and the prices! Those mundane things are really interesting for people from different countries like me😊 Thanks for the great video🤗
Me and my family moved to the outskirts of Sollefteå last year. And i agree with you 100%, we could not be happier. I love this place
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and town. I have visiting Sweden high on my bucket list- to see the beautiful country and people, as well as visit the places my great grandparents lived.
Looks so beautiful and peaceful...very clean too!
Absolutely loved this video and this beautiful town/area…the kind of place I’d love to live! Thank you for sharing
This video is very informative thank you for making a video like this now I’m following you.
What a lovely area! My grandfather emigrated from Gäddvik, near Luleå, nearly one hundred years ago, and I definitely want to visit there someday.
I live in Luleå and hope you come here, is a lovely place. 😊👍
Welcome back, Kathy!
@@kathyastrom1315 Amazing reading this after driving over the bridge a couple of hours ago! You should definitely come and visit!
Your town is so civilised and friendly
and the beautiful nature on your doorstep, that is what you need.
My maternal grandfather is from Sollefteå. I hope the hospital is doing well these days :)
I love Sollefteå,it always seems to be sunny whenever I go there! Going tomorrow actually. Lovely video x
I never really thought much about Sweden until recently. It's very perfect looking. It it looks like they have great communities.
Thanks for the video!
I was always 6 month a year in south east asia, but now i feel like i would like to live in the north!Maybe habing a Thaiwife and living in North Finnland!:)
Beautiful town, wonderful life and great video Kalle! 😍
Great video! As an American who's moved to Sweden. First to kalmar, and now Skåne. I look forward to either eventually working remote or taking summers to travel to the north in a rv.
Love this! Thank you for showing me your beautiful city. I would love to visit Sweden some day
Now this video make make me feel like moving to Sweden fingers crossed for my job interview
My husband’s father grew up in your town. We live in California. We are planning to drive there to see if his cousins (MELANDER is their last name) are still living there. Thanks for sharing your video. It gives a glimpse of my husband’s family before his father moved to Stenungsund. His father’s name is Rune MELANDER and he passed away a few years ago.
Yes, thank you Kalle. I think it would be great to have a video showing what you buy at the grocery store!
A very nice place. I been in Sollefteå many times and loves the city
So glad for this video! We love seeing more of Sweden it looks gorgeous there! Thanks so much!
I only live 1.5h from sollefteå but never been there, but you made me wanna go visit :)
