  • Hey everyone! In this BTS video, I meet Kyli for the first time to Collab and create some fun and beautiful photos. We had such a great time creating these and I definitely lost track of making sure to provide good info for you.
    Just remember, there is an order of things when it comes to collaborating to create.
    If you're new to photography, don't expect any model will just want to work with you to create portraits. You have to have something they want. That's where skill lever and the Order of Things comes in.
    If you're a new model or photographer, you may be looking to pay to create work. If you are at an intermediate skill level as either a model or photographer, this is the collaborating playground! A very fun place to be!
    If you are a highly skilled model or photographer, then this is where you may Collaborate very little and only offer paid services.
    No where you are in that pecking order! This can help you move up to the next level all while having a ton of fun creating along the way!

    The collaboration turned out great and the images extraordinary as usual. What I thoroughly enjoyed watching was the evolution of trust between you two. In the beginning there were the basic shots and poses but as the session progressed, I noticed how much more comfortable the model was and the more confident she was with her poses. The smiles were bigger, the hair swaying was more free, the shoulder strap was dropped and your “yesses” were louder and longer 😂. Great job gaining her trust and making her feel safe and confident in herself. If you haven’t been told, you’re pretty good at this 😊. It definitely looks like you both got a win-win out of the collaboration.

    Beautiful photos!! I love the points you made about a new model needing a skilled photographer and a new photographer needing a skilled model. If you're lucky enough as a new photographer, maybe you'll have a friend or friend of a friend who's a pro model and willing to help out in a collab.

      Yes and no. Mine is 600 watts of power. The 200 is 200w. But you can get great results with the 200.

    Jason in all your the videos you have an AD600! Tell me if i will using an AD400, will be enough power for similar shooting as yours or is it still preferable to use an AD600?

      For the most part. Yes, it should. Maybe not at midday when the sun is brighter, but it should.

    For a couples engagement photoshoot (outdoors ) would you recommend to use a 50mm or 85mm?

    • @J.Allen_Photography
      @J.Allen_Photography  26 дней назад +1

      @@DJSIC82 why not both? I’d start with the 85 myself. Depending on my location, like maybe something more scenic, then I go to the 50 to show a little around them.
