Ok, Annie Bot sounds very fascinating. I should check that out, thanks. :D Also, I loved Jane Eyre when I read it many years ago. I should probably give that a reread soon.
I would have loved to have been a part of your captive audience for that presentation 😂 I have fallen in love with gothic fiction these past few months! I tried to watch crimson peak a few weeks ago and I found it to be so slow, which made me so sad because I love Del Toro and the aesthetic. I haven’t given up on it though!! I want to love it so bad. Maybe I just need to read the novelization first 😂 I hope you’re having a wonderful February!!! 💕💖💗🦇✨
I never really thought about the pacing being slow, but I could totally see that. Maybe the right mood to enjoy it will strike someday. I haven't read the novelization but I'd be interested to know how it is!
I think it's nice too, but the sentence "the demons don't care about your body, they just care about your soul, and I just think that's so nice" is so funny
There was book that came out in 2022 that sort of acts as a what happens next for Mr. Rochester's ward. It's called Reader, I Murdered Him by Betsy Cornwall. It tells about how Adele came to be with Mr. Rochester, what it was like with him, but mostly what her life was like after he married Jane. I found it really interesting.
Love the way the eyeshadow and sweater are a perfect color match! "Inserty doodads" is an underrated phrase Oooh, a thesis on gothic fiction would be so fun! I didn't know Krystal Sutherland had another book out. I really liked House of Hollow! "Demons don't trust men" had me cackling Now I desperately want to know what the girl in Let's Get Quizzical was mad about haha Annie Bot sounds like such an interesting take on the female experience I haven't read Saga, but the "how dare they do this to me personally" is so real hahaha Moth Keeper looks so adorable!
"Jane is GaGa" hahahahah best description ever!
Vanessa looks like Elena Uhlig's little sister. 🤗
loved your thoughts on Jane Eyre 😂
I'm forever bummed that Saga fell off for me

I already want to reread Jane Eyre lol, there's so much going on in there.
Ooo I have a copy of the invocations 👀
The books and movies you read and study for your classes all sound so good
Great video, Faerie. ❤
I’m surprised you hadn’t read Jane Eyre, since you like a lot of gothic literature.
Same, it was also the first book I ever added to my goodreads tbr lol

the "how dare they" volume, and the one before that one also! The one before that one was waaaaay more upsetting to me 😭😭
