From the viewer's perspective, it makes sense that early on is more exciting. I do like seeing mid and end game content, as it helps my own creative processes.
Oh hey, fun fact for if you need to start a new world, there are always two raspberry bushes and two mushrooms behind two of the forsaken stones at spawn, tested it out with 3 different worlds and it's in every single world, easy food to jumpstart the hardcore
Seems pretty sick. Glad to see a real playthrough and not just a guide. I don't really play with other people in games very often (plan on trying to again once my internet gets fixed) and it's always fun to watch other people play
Not breaking the bed in in the house killed me, wasted so much time wandering around in the dark... instant fast forward. Just punch it until it breaks and take the resources, why would you need deer hide to repair when everything is free??
I would add a magical elf or gnome steward that you could buy from the trader, whom you could give orders to relight the fires when you are in range, relight torches at night when they run out, etc. Better scaffolding is a great idea.
I am really glade I came across your channel I will definitely be telling everybody to subscribe to you and I am loving the hardcore valheim keep it up doing a great job and so glade that you are doing what you love you are an inspiration to everyone. Again thanks for the awesome video's.
Nice content man, just got back into Valheim and found you when going through youtube. I really don't get this sneaking up on Deer in the early game though, seems like a waste of time when you can just kill boars and make a bow instead. I think the sneaking mechanic is cool but it's more useful for trolls and fulings later on.
Aha yeah that's what I mean. The boars aggro you so kill a few of them and move to deer with the bow. By the time you have managed to sneak up on a deer, dancing around the wind, having 5 of them run away from you trying to master the technique you could of made 10 bows already.
Hey! I've been watching your videos since Valheim became a thing. Really appreciate the content and love your voice! Very calming and pleasant to listen to. Keep up the quality entertainment, friend!
1:32:25 - Wait... people don't work while at work? What sorcery is this? Is this Greece? 😅 No job I ever had allowed me to watch RUclips and claim I'm working.
Those beds that you find in buildings that are in need of repair the only way that I found to get rid of them is to destroy the wall next to it so you can access it from outside and then use your weapon or axe and destroy the bed and then repair the wall easiest way that I found to do it otherwise I've never been able to target it from inside maybe you can but I haven't been able to
I've got 64 hours logged... completed the swamp and still haven't died. First playthrough too. Almost got popped by a tree but other than that I've thought it was all pretty easy. I'll post my seed if anyone's interested in what is apparently "easy mode." Lol
I'd be interested. My first death was probably an early raid when I got eight greydwarves all charging and I ran out of stamina. Important learning moment... 😂
The map is interesting, especially the waterways part. It does seem to have a problem in that its pretty sparse on trees, as these things go, so you wont be able to do much megabuilding, if thats normally your inclination, at least till you can get portals up and go exploring. Skeletons can also indicate stone towers, not just dungeons. Wood- dont forget the stumps of the trees you cut down are also wood and you can hack them up with an axe too. Also clears them as obstacles that you can otherwise get hung up on while fighting. And there are a number of fallen "came with the landscape" logs around the place which are wood too that you've been ignoring...
I love the playthrough videos, and really like your style during play--conversation, answering your chat questions, etc.--but for some reason the placement of your video insert (middle left on the screen) is distracting. Its not so bad that I can't watch, but it covers the food and stamina info. Most streamers use the middle or bottom right where there is no useful game info. You can't claim a bed you haven't made (which makes sense in co-op play) and you can destroy beds with a weapon.
Kysen man make your next stream a live server and play with some viewers, I played a bit of the game before finding your tutorial vids and I'd kill to play with you mate, just followed you on twitch so I'll be there to watch the next stream
Eikthyr was easy with leather armour lvl3, wooden shield lvl3 & flint spear lvl3 the crude bow lvl is good when he runs away then switching to the shield and spear to block his lighting attack
raising and conditioning your skills in combat asap is an advantage. 6 minutes in and i lost interest, was just curious what this was about anyway. playing HC in a game where you can play everything from a safe distance is stupid. although it also takes balls in an alpha game where most deaths are from silly things like smoke or falling into water with little to no stamina. i like your development and i hope you stay away from minecraft and try more games cause really, the pleb in you show esp. in these "older" videos.
Early game in any survival games is my favourite stage.
Agreed. After that it all becomes a bit of a grind but the real.possibility of character death and less complicated processes in game

I felt that lmao
The queen's jam does seem nice, shame it does not stack to 20 instead of 10.

love this series keep it up. I cant get enough Valheim.
Deer get spooked primarily by smell so always check the wind early game when you have to sneak and use melee. Love the series!

Thank you 🙂 you need to kill deer for their drops so that's just an early game way of doing it

oh boy 4 hours, awesome!
I had a smäller black forest close to my starter base. Three sprucetrees and two Stones. It spawn greydwarves and trolls despite the small size.
You can't claim any beds pre generated in the world. You have to break them with an axe or something and then make your own with wood
1:32:25 - Wait... people don't work while at work? What sorcery is this? Is this Greece? 😅
No job I ever had allowed me to watch RUclips and claim I'm working.
Watching this while I do my course work! Such fun!
You can break the bed that was already in the building with an ax

3:35:37 I feel so immature. I know MekkoLP was trying to say cool down, but when you said "What's cd?" all I could think was "HA! Gottem!"
YAAAAS. loving it mate.
wow it was 4 hours
Kysen - chin up and keep kicking ass
Imo Valheim is the new Skyrim, at least till we get a new Elder Scrolls game.
So excited for this. Sounds like fun.
no I want to see you do everything.
Ever thought about playing Omno once it comes out? Love the valheim vids btw great stuff keep doing what you're doing
Love this!!

Or maybe you just didnt push yaself and played it safe
@@foggyhedgie well, it was my first time playing so yeah I took it slower than I do now.
Finaly Home, time to catch the first Half of the Stream :D
You can definitely cheese the elder still .
I died to a falling tree on day 3 while watching this video…
Enjoyed the video! Thank you!
i literally watching this at 12:29 i was looking for new content I got burnt out of Minecraft me building then I found kysen
Sry I’ve missed the streams I’m catching up now

This is awesome I definitely subbed

I have moved it in my more recent streams 🙂
Also need to move the notification panel out of the middle of the screen. Its wayyy too obtrusive and hides what you're doing.
You didn't need a deer. The bed was right there the whole time....
why didn't you read the first tablet where u spawn in? It shows you the location of the first boss right away.
lol yeah i was pretty shocked and confused too when he just ran off without clicking it, also the 'bed issue' on the first day made me laugh
You can skip this by hitting ESC, then Skip Prologue :)
Kysen man make your next stream a live server and play with some viewers, I played a bit of the game before finding your tutorial vids and I'd kill to play with you mate, just followed you on twitch so I'll be there to watch the next stream
Is this a MEME seed????? I've only been playing for a couple weeks, but my seed world does not have this concentration of ANYTHING!
-biomutant coming out soon... (new game)
Im from perth !!!!!
Oh cool! :D
Loving this game ( its for ladies too :P) whenever I cant play I watch your vids, thanks for all the tuts :)
Did I miss something. what makes it hardcore mode??
If he dies, he deletes the character and the world.
Pretty sure you can turn hugin off in the settings.
what is hugin?
@@lyricahm3370 Hugin is the giant crow looking bird that gives you tips.
No timestamps?
No it's kinda hard to do on such a long stream because it's hardcore mode so it's all general gameplay
Eikthyr was easy with leather armour lvl3, wooden shield lvl3 & flint spear lvl3 the crude bow lvl is good when he runs away then switching to the shield and spear to block his lighting attack
Massive overkill
I just had a lv1 tower shield and some leather, with a flint axe.
Love it man if I could give an idea for another game to try out I'd suggest rust. It's a good game I think you'd enjoy it mate
Could you please somehow adjust your videos so that during night time we can actually see
Hello 👋 am I late?
It’s crazy how much you sound like Elon musk
video is on 420 likes, i shall leave it as it is :)
Why would you do such an insanely long stream?
Because this game is extremely addictive. Once you start playing it then its hard to stop and you loose all track of time.
raising and conditioning your skills in combat asap is an advantage.
Id really enjoy if I didn't hear you gulping your drink and smacking your lips after. Just a little tip
