This painting is splendid. I'm currently making 2 huge canvases for my house with these shades except that I'm using Prussian blue, I love it so much. when your canvas is in the other direction at 6:33 this center in blue reminds me of a horse, there is even its front leg. very funny what we can see. I grew up knowing I had a knack with a pencil but just discovered my passion approximately 5 years ago and it's taken me from doing Disney type paintings for birthdays to painting murals on walls and dumpsters for my town...to acrylic pouring because it just fascinates me just how beautiful of a creation can be made by applying certain techniques and using certain colors with one another.... and to this. I've always found abstract painting to be some of the most beautiful in circulation. I suppose that's why pouring is so much fun(and learning experience) because the end result is abstract. I can spend an entire day in front of a canvas and I love just truly diving into it head-on and seeing where it takes me. I suppose that's art, right? Anyways, I just had to take a moment to tell you just how beautiful I feel your work is. I am limited with my knowledge but make up for so much of it simply due to the passion I have for applying it it just about everything I do daily. It gives me peace and allows me a path to take other than the one that is real life. We all need an escape... Art is mine. Keep up the magnificent work and if by chance you ever decide to intermingle with the ones following your work... I would both welcome and appreciate your time.

Wow excellent painting
I also see the woman with the baby in her arms too.. But I love the idea that everyone has an interpretation of abstract art. I think some people are too quick to dismiss abstract art as "random" art but surely the emotional reaction to the art, even if it is negative, is exactly what you would expect. A negative reaction is still a reaction. I really love this picture and will definitely be trying the modelling paste to create details.

Seasonal farming duties call at the moment but have taken 5 minutes to myself. How did I miss this tutorial??? I have a 120 x 80 cm canvas begging me to paint it, acrylic filler looking to be used, paints ..... I need to find a few spare hours!

This one is probably my favorite painting so far!! So much emotion in it. It reminds me hope and light emerging from tragedy and depression.
I'd love it if you could also talk a little bit about things like how to clean or keep your brush clean between colors. And if you do the painting over several days, how do you blend the second coat with the dried first coat? Additionally, do you plan your paintings out ahead of time, like on a sheet of paper or digitally, or do you paint as you go? Love the content! Keep it up! :D

I was wondering the same thing. My blending brush gets wet from the paint and I have to wash it, then let it dry. I suppose I should buy multiple. Did you do this is one sitting or let layers dry?

When do you change or clean your brushes so colors don’t muddy? Thanks for your tutorials
When I need to apply warm and cool colors (like orange and blue, green and pink) or deep black and pure white I change my brushes.
In the other cases, I use the same brush
I clean all my brushes right after the art session ends
So nice...!
