I got so invested with Lord Shimura that I wanted him to be my dad. Stoic, but such a heart of gold. 😭
His only problem was that he was so strict and blindly traditional, the later events of the game were tragic,
I hope I wasn't the only one who was really looking forward to becoming his son.
Then he had to ruin it by getting on my case about that poison bullshit.
@@mingchenwei1978 I know, his flaw on being blindly traditional pretty much is what rifted people apart.
Tbf If I had to decide what to in his shoes, I MIGHT beg shoguns forgiveness on having USED poison. He MAY live at least. But the fact that It gave said poison to the mongols is a death sentence in ANY world.
I know this is a cliched saying but this game really makes you feel like a samurai.

This game is amazing but playing it while sitting on my ass on the couch all day doesn’t make me feel like a samurai 😂

@@sanjaychhetri5399 yeah sure, never seen or heard of a “samurai” who saved his home and was branded a traitor and was demanded to be kiled because he did what he had to in order to save a lot of innocent lives
Shimura, during the tutorial: "If you held a real sword, I would be dead."
Shimura, after the final battle: "Thank you, my son."

If they do a sequel to ghost of Tsushima for the second game they should do flashbacks of more of Jin childhood, Jin dad (then just the one in the first game) & one with how Jin met his friend Ryuzo
Not a big fan of Jins dad won’t spoil
I still curious about jin father tho who kill him and why

Shimura says "will you honour me lot". The will you honour me option is cannon I think😭❤
i just realised how jin got that scar on his face, it was after ryuzo and jin's duel that ryuzo talks about in missions.
i dont think so. jin had that scar as a young kid. i think ryuzo says the duel at that tournament was only 2 yrs prior to current time in game so i believe that duel took place while they were adults

I just now realized that we met Clan Adachi and Yarikawa the first time at the funeral. I'm halfway through with the game haha
Lord Shimura is kinda looks like and behaves like my dad. I was invested into him enough that I literally cried in the kill ending after I did the spare ending. Even so it literally hurt me to the core when he said to find him in the next life. 😭

After you do your first few more assasinations you are given a short version of the hunting flashback and Jin saying sorry
After using your darts after a few uses you are given a flashback of Jin training with the wooden sword and him saying after the mongol invasion he won’t need the darts
I chose the alternate ending first, they gave me no choice 😂

My honest opinion of GOT
Beginning is basically similar to normal MMORPG, just talk, kill, and talk again
The mid and end game, is where the real shit begins

14:35 I got this flashback once I assassinated someone but I died there too, lol, so I had to restart the game. I killed him again from the back but I didn't get the flashback the second time. Did I do something wronggg? I'm actually worried.
Does anyone know where the location of the first flashback is on the map?
