Fun fact, this video was taken from extra footage on the last video when it ran long. That's why the end is even more jump-cutty than usual.

Hello my fiend ! Please make a video of the electronics, talk about of your experiences of the movement of the stepper motors, the possible fails or rather improvements could be made to print better =D

Hmm, interesting. Admittedly that's something I know less about. I know that some of the more expensive 3D printers use servos instead of steppers so they can have constant feedback and know where the motor is no matter what. But besides that I just know that 3D printers move things around in 3 dimensions. I'll have to do some research, maybe build my own 3D printer.

    What slicer did you use?
I'm using Cura and find the supports it generates are no good at all. It puts them where they are not needed, and where my model prints in thin air it generates no support for this.

I do use Simplify3D so I can have control over the supports. Most slicers have a hard time identifying support areas that come to a point for some reason.

Thanks. Looks like you have to pay for that one. Being a cheapskate I might just use Meshmixer or 123D to put my own in.

I understand. hold off as long as you can. Because as soon as you realized it's a $150 upgrade to instantly make all your prints look better you won't be able to.

I want to believe that this is a good sign, that I've reached the critical mass that that is indicated by the "first" comment. Maybe I'll make a contest. First person to be first 25 times wins.
