my mom lives right up the street from this incident. i was on the phone with her when we both heard dozens of cops driving by and news helicopters. i hate the fact that she lives alone and is almost 70.
I’ve been trying to figure it all out but the news coverage is surprisingly slim. I can still hear the helicopters nearby so it must still be going on. Why they can’t tell us what’s happening is odd to me. Again there are helicopters hovering which I can hear so I know they are getting information on it. I live nearby so I would like to know what is going on.

Always been that way. Media picks and chooses stories to run. Million times action in area and media is here but no story is ran. Few hrs ago few cities over another domestic violence case guy shot a cop. I looked to see if related but it appears not.

And these standoffs seem to gain nothing... l know that no officer should be put in danger, but for the victim it must be so devastating to know police is there but no help gets to them ... and then it might be too late... Those who want to obtain them illegally always will unfortunately. No matter how many gun laws they enact. Thats why there are those trying to keep guns legally. There’s always going to be two sides to a coin good and bad we can erase the bad unfortunately but we can try to outweigh it with the good (if that makes any sense). It is a shame that so many people can obtain them illegally and use them to harm.
