  • Do you feel aligned with nature? Is everything flowing nicely for you?
When we stop trying to force things to happen, the more magic will return to our lives. We can't force the good to happen - we can only allow it. We can let go our own rushed pace and discover nature's timing, nature's rhythm.
Glue is such a good example. We read the instructions and then think we can rush it, do it all faster than the instructions say. We need to let go our plans, fears and control and relax and trust in nature, not our own ego. We think we are more intelligent than the universe - but we need to surrender to the will of the Absolute.
Shane Mulhall used to give lectures regularly; this is a short extract from one lecture titled: Philosophy and a Blissful Life.
George Bernard Shaw:  "The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man." Maxims for Revolutionists, 1903
Shane was head of the School of Philosophy and Economic Science in Ireland until his death in 2016. practicalphilo...
The School of Philosophy and Economic Science offers courses in practical philosophy and economics with justice as well as other subjects. It aims to approach philosophy in a practical way, encouraging students to apply philosophy in their lives. The School also introduces a mindfulness-type exercise leading eventually to mantra meditation.
