Slava (Ukrainian for "Glory") serves as the inspriation for this stirring grade 2 concert march in minor mode by composer Randall Standridge. Bold rhythms, active percussion, and soaring countermelodies combine to create a worthy vehicle for teaching march style to your young musicians. i’m playing this for my school band! i’m a trombonist, it’s my first year. the eighth notes and rhythms are hard, but it’s a great song and I’ll get better with time :)
