For the future... NEVERRRR connect the batteries to the motor first, always connect the receiver first. If you connect the batteries first, the motor will have power but nothing telling it what to do. Normally it just doesn't do anything, but it is possible for it to go crazy and start spinning. Im sure you can imagine why this would be bad, especially when you have a prop on the motor!
Great project, even I m planning the same except a counter rotating props under each main propeller to cancel out torque and mitigate engine failure risks. Something like Ehang quadcopter.
Steel fasteners in soft aluminum is dangerous because the harder metal will 'walk out' the holes in aluminum with applied loads and vibrations, and let go at a (likely) critical time. Before you get airborne in it, I suggest you weld it up.
“I’m taking every safety precaution possible” but halfway through the video has a montage of himself cutting the aluminum without goggles or safety glasses on......
I know you’ve already bought the motors but I’d recommend checking out the T-Motor U15. Although it might cost a bit more it is one of the safest propulsion systems on the market and you’re life depends on it! Can’t wait for part 2!!!
Keep going.... ill support u and everyone else doing the same. Keep it light, keep it efficent. See if u can't hybrid it once it's done. Less need for battery, and a constant charge for greater range.
i am so nervoous............. can't wait to see how this turns out....best of luck pal....make sure it is stabled (in equilibrium) ..... propeller size really matters.....
The power of the engines are not appropriate for these propellers, decrease the propeller by 10%, increase the distance from the ground, and if possible, increase the distance from the geometric center of the structure, if necessary, add more engines, but always install at the ends. The ideal power for this project would be 4 engines from 25kw to 30kw, which allows a load capacity of 150 kg (structure and pilot)
Count me in too, im planning to make a flying car with this, the protection is the weight detector, it detects if somebody or something moved, if it does, it will adjust stuff
Put as much redundancy into your system as possible. I'd definitely recommend you go check out amazingdiyprojects' cHAir series. Most important I'd say for hoby grade equipment; he paralleled five transmitters, receivers and flight controllers, and isolated each battery and motor, separate packs for each FC as well. Personally I'd want to be able to lose at least two of every component and land safely. None of these things were manufactured with protecting human lives in mind, overbuild as much as you can.
Hi sir surly it's great work...can I ask you something about it sir please 🙏..what the type of Motors that you used it and ...time of fly..and can I programming it by arduino as the small normal drone.. Thanks sir and I hope that I'm not annoying you 🙂
PLEASE TELL US WHERE TO GET THE PARTS i need this for a project (im not gonna fly me or anyone else) btw funny that he says he's gonna be far away when he puts the proppelers and then 8:38 he pust his leg wight there next to it hahhaha
instead of 8 different motors you could make 4 coaxial so you could use a normal drone controller. and in addition one also in the center as booster...
@@Tha_AntiChrist the uneven heating will stress the frame. between the internal tension of when it cools down, and the difference in the frame sections being annealed in some spots and hardened (from factory extrusion) in others, it would be prone to spontaneous stress fractures either along the welds, or along the tube sections just past where it got heated from welding. This is why aircraft use rivets. They're inspectable/replaceable. I only know enough to know bolts/welding is a bad idea for this application unless they're airframe bolts that are safety wired.
@@danielescobar7618 idk id trust a weld long before I’d trust Glue. I get it can warp and it can change strengths in the metal but this isn’t like an airplane it’s not going like 300mph lol if anything he should just wrap the whole thing in fiberglass and epoxy or even carbon fiber and epoxy
Hey man could I please ask id you could link the store that you bought all the components from ? Especially the motors, really having difficulties getting big motors like that
Just a little tip , one can switch around the cables at the motor which makes them out turn in a different direction so yeah just take it before you buy new propellers.
I realize this but it doesn't work that way as the propellers themselves are designed to provide thrust in only one direction. If you look at quadcopters, they all have two types of propellers.
Man I really wanna build one of these and all of these great youtubers keep building them! Can’t wait to see how this turns out!

@@matijanekic2790 he's not being mean, fix your brain, oh and fix your grammar too
Well he did not see the comment and the final video for the first couple minutes he failed than fixed it!
Finally, a video will prove you don't need pilot license to fly! I always taught of a giant remote control flying object. And here it is! Keep it up.
This man can create anything HE COULD BE A REAL SUPER HERO!!!!😱
Pole

I think you need more room and longer propellers.
Square tubing or round tuning would also be stronger.

Rivet or epoxy. You're right about the fasteners, but welding isn't ideal here either, it'll crack
Undroning a drone! Phenomenal
Don't die, okay? Make sure if something fails, you don't end up chopped up JLaserVideo or electrocuted or anything like that. Don't get harmed.
I dont think i was planning to harm himselve..
This is the first diy video i watch in 2020
“I’m taking every safety precaution possible” but halfway through the video has a montage of himself cutting the aluminum without goggles or safety glasses on......

why is Tmotor U15 only 1gram? how is that posible?
i was really wondering how he was going to get that out of the room when he connected the first 2 parts with the pole in the middle ahahha
Dude you videos are so funny and entertaining, love this channel, keep up the good work
You are so lucky to be able to buy metal locally!
home depot
Can't wait to see part 2 ,,,, saved part 1 , always amazing videos thank you very much
Keep it UP! 👍 Also can u do a workshop/setup review
Ledgend , keep up the innovation and most of all stay safe man we love and support you.
I want to build one, and it is nice to see that there are other people in the same boat too ;)
Probably want a few flight controllers outputting to the same motors so if on breaks off and flips, you don’t die!
Awesome idea. Be careful and safe use weights to simulate your own in testing
Can't wait for part 2
The next hacksmith
what i like about yous that your are tony stark version real life 😂😂😂

awesome. keep it up - can't wait to see how this turns out
Great project, good luck, also neat transitions!
Just awesome Big Brother ❤️ from India 👍
Nice bro
I think it's first human drone. Nobody can think about that great going
wonderful, great.
keep working on next generation.
Thank you so much! The other guys give little to no instructions or parts or why they chose those parts particularly... thank you!
Awesome project
Good luck. Looking forward to seeing you fly this puppy. The way of the future, I hope.
I like it and this video is just wat I been looking for
Top 5 things to do while in quarantine
This is going to be epic!!!! I cant wait!!!!!

Good life
I'd be crazy if ya pulled this off 😁
Can't wait to see the rest of it
Can you make the part 2 of the infinity gauntlet? It would be awesome
Nice project

Was anyone else thinking at 4:15 he was about to build it around that pole and it would be stuck lol
Edit: HE DID LMAO
hahaha
Cara..eu amo drone tripulado ..quero muito fazer um pra mim .. parabéns.. continue com o projeto...voce tem meu like com certeza
You should have gotten a co-builder who could weld. Also the motors should have more solid stationary mountings, the first one shifted around a bit.
Can’t wait for part 2!
Been subbed fir so longgggg
ITS A BIRD
ITS A PLANE
ITS JLASERVIDEO
ITS THE HACKSMITH... NOPE ITS JLASERVIDEO
I want to see the hackersmit flying in the iron man suit, but while this is not bad
The hacksmith will doit in another 10 years lol they keep making bullshit instead of what they promise

Love this man
Love your work! How much did the components cost you? Can you give a link for buying them?
Hey bro did you find the parts?
I waited soooooooo long THX
i have not seen a single tutorial who really teach how to make a drone or flying machine from scratch...what to calculate and physics behind things
My advice to you kid,go to Hollywood and be the new Spider man.you would be the most original of them all.
Woooow maaan, so cool
Woah this is awesome
How many times do we have to teach you this lesson old man
you should make an infinity gauntlet but with each stone make it a different color
I am waiting for Casey Niestat to talk more about you and your projects in his videos
Did you tell him about your channel in that letter
Brother you did it 💜
Amazing! You make that easy, but isn't
SHOW US A LIST OF ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT DETAILS SO WE CAN RESEARCH IT MOTORS AND SUCH.
Love it! Do you sell these?
Awesome. Can I ask you what motors you got and ESC's and flight controller you have? I don't see a list of parts.
Human drone is the biggest oxymoron I've heard this year so far.
I am doing something similar and this vid was my inspo
That's amazing.
Now that's what I'm talking about!
instead of 8 different motors you could make 4 coaxial so you could use a normal drone controller. and in addition one also in the center as booster...
Awesome vid thank you!
Nice vid keep it up
You could buy a go kart frame and build the flying vehicle on it!
Love your vids
how much do those motors cost? I kinda want to do this.
Consider epoxy instead of screws/bolts. Less weight and reduced failure points if they shear or rattle out. No safety wire
I was going to suggest welding

You should make a hang glider with jet engines on it
Hey man could I please ask id you could link the store that you bought all the components from ? Especially the motors, really having difficulties getting big motors like that
You should build the flamethower flute from the anchorman

What type of aluminum did you use to build this ? 6061 ? 7000 series ?
Pls dont hurt ur self when doing this
Do you have a parts list of the components that you are using? Such as ESC, motors and propellers.
ESC 🙏🏼
Can you add a parts list in the next video :)
Hi bro i am your big fan, can you tell me which components you are using for making this human flying drone
Collab with Logan Paul again he did say in your last collab that next time when we collab you are gonna be flying.
