I would happily buy one of these if it perform well and if the parts and service wouldn't cost too much . I wouldn't mind the brand name.

turpioSE it honestly does. The C7 generation was beautiful. It looks horrendous now with a way too large front grille and fake exhausts. Audi and Mercedes really need to get their act together.

FYI. Beijing Automotive Group (a.k.a BAIC) joint ventures with Mercedes-Benz, they manufacturer Mercedes E and C class for the Chinese market. In order to reduce development cost, BAIC also buy designs (modified from old original models) from Mercedes for their own BAIC branded car. Everyone can clearly see that the Beijing 80 off-road design is influenced by the G Class, but it has to do with the joint ventures/partnership as far as I know.
