Love Leon's mentality. He knows that he is gonna lose 80% of neutral, so he focus on winning with the 20% remaining
im glad players like leon exist who play lesser used characters and show their potential, it makes the game more exciting as a viewer compred to watching the same few matchups. But im sure some competitors would rather focus on a few matchups instead.

New swordfighter characters are always op, not just because their dmg and throwing on certain attacks, but must of it that pro players get the most out of those kind of characters with their hitboxes, that's why it feel they are so op
