One very important thing that I think you kind of hinted at throughout the video is that magic is not going to be like movies and cartoons. You can't just poof things out of midair, you have to work for it. Magic is there to assist you, not do everything for you. I feel like that's a huge misconception among people unfamiliar with witchcraft.

Just wanted to add, if anyone's interested in making their own candles, without all the equipment needed, try using beeswax sheets. You just need those and a wick. Plus, you can roll your own herbs and powders into the center.
Just remember that HERBS BURN🔥 🔥 if you roll or include herbs in your candle wax be prepared for them to catch fire just as much as your candle wick. Keep your candles safe.
Make sure you buy your beeswax products from ethical sources. Its no secret that bees are rapidly dying away and negative energy from bad farming practices can effect your magic. Always cleanse your products. 🖤
I have a question: I really want to use beeswax as it's more eco-friendly than most regular candles but I want to work with colours. Is there any way that i can dye the candles? Would i have to melt it and include food colouring or something then reform it?

There were people that was so mean and bitchy when I blow out my candle. Some people would be like don't blow it out your blowing away you intention blah, blah ,blah. Like I brought a bad spirit into my house or something and didnt explain the reason why I shouldnt. I'm a baby witch that's still learning. And I never had a problem when I blew out my candle. I personally thought like a wish on my birthday. I put all my power into that blow and push it out into the universe while thinking of my intent. BUT I got a snuffer thingy lol from all places the dollar store! And I love it!

I like that. I actually prefer that visual to using a snuffer. I think that for my practice, I will use a snuffer to "pause" a multi day spell and blow the candle out when the spell is finished. Plus who wants to search for the snuffer every time they need to put a candle out. Magick is supposed to be practical too!
Its ok ive been a practitioner for over 30 yrs ive snuffed out candles and i blow out candles theres no difference. Its how people practice and what they prefer in their practice.some believe that if u blow out your candle you blow away your intentions if you believe that then go with that I dont i practice totally different. Just like some practitioners will not do hexes or curses its against their beliefs they believe it will come back on you. i just realised that i used a candle i once offered to saint micheal for an cord cutting spell… i tried days to figure out who made the candle pop and the flame flicker. rewatching this video and the question whether you can use a used candle made me realise. best part ist, the cord cutting worked within 12 hours with total loss of contact and everything. really amazed and happy about the outcome. and here a public thanks to saint micheal for his help 🕯️

RegnDanss I use runes. The Futhorc (younger-Northumbrian-there are 8 extra runes to include the “Rókkr (Loki, Fenrir, Angrboda etc). I’ve been work the runes for years.
@@jonashotep what is the difference between sets of runes? mine are the elder Futhark (there are 24) and they were a gift so I didn't research the different types.
@reckless mermaid the elder futhark are the most common and “original Runes” which were used and discovered around 5th century -these are technically only 23 as the “blank rune” was not a thing. In approximately 9th century on 8 more runes were added. They are nicknamed by a few of us as “The Rókkr’s Aett. The original 23-24 had 3 Aett (eights) Frey, Heimdall and Tyr. The younger futhark is Loki, Fenrir, Hela, Jogmund (I’m not even going to try to spell it’s name), and a few others. I resonate most with Fenrir and Loki so the Younger Futhark speaks to me. Purists prefer the Elder Futhark and no other as they don’t recognize the fact that Odin and Loki are brothers and one shall not drink without the other. Also, they (Purists) do not recognize that those of us that follow the Norse Pantheon it was Loki’s blood that gave us the will to live. Sorry. I rant lol. But I will tell you this. Each rune is sentient. Yes. It is a Divinatory system, but the longer you work with them the more they will draw you in, if they draw you in and you show respect. They will give up their secrets slowly.

I made a poppet and it sits above my bookshelf near my door to my room, so I see it every time I walk in my room, and also there are little velcro stickers on the hands, so it's holding a scroll with my intentions, but the stickiness doesn't work so well, so often the arms are apart every time I see it and I have to stick them back together, which honestly is actually a good thing, because it's a constant reminder of what I made the poppet for. And I like to think that every time my little poppet lets go, he's releasing my intent out into the world, and when I put his hands back together, I'm winding up the magic again to be sent out more and more. Your comment about candles constantly reminding you of your spellwork made me think of it and I really wanted to mention the similarity.

I really enjoyed this teaching ☺ on candle magic. I used to do candle magic in my 20s I would do them to create money for my friends and money always came to me. I had people watch my candles for me. I have been working with kitchen magic . It works but I do like candle magic but I do have to put it out if I leave the house.
dragonrider4874 there’s a lot of herbs for protection, but a great versatile herb that kind of works for almost anything just like rosemary is bay leaves!

Olive oil actually used to be used as a form of currency back in the Fertile Crescent where farming originated. I consider it sacred to the ancestors, so it's definitely good for magic, especially if you're doing something connected to finance, ancestors, family, and food or nourishment (of course 😂).

I recently began practicing for real rather than just learn and study. I found with candle magic you can create more power by adding a sigil under it based on what you light it for. I also charge them with an audio I was led to by guidance. Today I learned ones sent obsidian curses so I returned to sender with obsidian audio and candle over an obsidian stone with number sigil that matched.
You held the orange-scented candle and the first thing that popped in my head was the treatise by Descartes in critique of empiricism. In it he used a citrus-scented candle, if I'm not mistaken. Random, but a fun throwback!

There were people that was so mean and bitchy when I blow out my candle. Some people would be like don't blow it out your blowing away you intention blah, blah ,blah. Like I brought a bad spirit into my house or something and didnt explain the reason why I shouldnt. I'm a baby witch that's still learning. And I never had a problem when I blew out my candle. I personally thought like a wish on my birthday. I put all my power into that blow and push it out into the universe while thinking of my intent. BUT I got a snuffer thingy lol from all places the dollar store! And I love it!
I had read that it was disrespectful to the element of fire (elemental and herbal magick is practically all I do), but honestly everyone knows witchcraft is all about intent so unless you feel like your spells were less effective in the past, I'd say you were doing just fine
I blow them out too and think of it as my breath (you know that which gives us life) my own energy is working with the smoke to carry my intention. Also too fuckin lazy and crude of a witch to care sometimes
I like that. I actually prefer that visual to using a snuffer. I think that for my practice, I will use a snuffer to "pause" a multi day spell and blow the candle out when the spell is finished. Plus who wants to search for the snuffer every time they need to put a candle out. Magick is supposed to be practical too!

Its ok ive been a practitioner for over 30 yrs ive snuffed out candles and i blow out candles theres no difference. Its how people practice and what they prefer in their practice.some believe that if u blow out your candle you blow away your intentions if you believe that then go with that I dont i practice totally different. Just like some practitioners will not do hexes or curses its against their beliefs they believe it will come back on you. i just realised that i used a candle i once offered to saint micheal for an cord cutting spell… i tried days to figure out who made the candle pop and the flame flicker. rewatching this video and the question whether you can use a used candle made me realise. best part ist, the cord cutting worked within 12 hours with total loss of contact and everything. really amazed and happy about the outcome.

RegnDanss I use runes. The Futhorc (younger-Northumbrian-there are 8 extra runes to include the “Rókkr (Loki, Fenrir, Angrboda etc). I’ve been work the runes for years.

@@jonashotep what is the difference between sets of runes? mine are the elder Futhark (there are 24) and they were a gift so I didn't research the different types.
@reckless mermaid the elder futhark are the most common and “original Runes” which were used and discovered around 5th century -these are technically only 23 as the “blank rune” was not a thing. In approximately 9th century on 8 more runes were added. They are nicknamed by a few of us as “The Rókkr’s Aett. The original 23-24 had 3 Aett (eights) Frey, Heimdall and Tyr. The younger futhark is Loki, Fenrir, Hela, Jogmund (I’m not even going to try to spell it’s name), and a few others. I resonate most with Fenrir and Loki so the Younger Futhark speaks to me. Purists prefer the Elder Futhark and no other as they don’t recognize the fact that Odin and Loki are brothers and one shall not drink without the other. Also, they (Purists) do not recognize that those of us that follow the Norse Pantheon it was Loki’s blood that gave us the will to live. Sorry. I rant lol. But I will tell you this. Each rune is sentient. Yes. It is a Divinatory system, but the longer you work with them the more they will draw you in, if they draw you in and you show respect. They will give up their secrets slowly.

I made a poppet and it sits above my bookshelf near my door to my room, so I see it every time I walk in my room, and also there are little velcro stickers on the hands, so it's holding a scroll with my intentions, but the stickiness doesn't work so well, so often the arms are apart every time I see it and I have to stick them back together, which honestly is actually a good thing, because it's a constant reminder of what I made the poppet for. And I like to think that every time my little poppet lets go, he's releasing my intent out into the world, and when I put his hands back together, I'm winding up the magic again to be sent out more and more. Your comment about candles constantly reminding you of your spellwork made me think of it and I really wanted to mention the similarity.
when I went holiday and I fOUND these 8” candles I always wanted,, without even looking for them, I got them, and everyone who went with me were like,

I really enjoyed this teaching ☺ on candle magic. I used to do candle magic in my 20s I would do them to create money for my friends and money always came to me. I had people watch my candles for me. I have been working with kitchen magic . It works but I do like candle magic but I do have to put it out if I leave the house.
My partner is allergic to rosemary, is there an equivalent herb that I could put in her food for protection?

Olive oil actually used to be used as a form of currency back in the Fertile Crescent where farming originated. I consider it sacred to the ancestors, so it's definitely good for magic, especially if you're doing something connected to finance, ancestors, family, and food or nourishment (of course 😂).

I recently began practicing for real rather than just learn and study. I found with candle magic you can create more power by adding a sigil under it based on what you light it for. I also charge them with an audio I was led to by guidance.
Today I learned ones sent obsidian curses so I returned to sender with obsidian audio and candle over an obsidian stone with number sigil that matched.
this is like watching 2 professional witches. As a beginner, this is a little overwhelming.

I cast it with the intent of banishing a relative away who is a trouble maker and who has done nothing but cause problems for everyone we lived with. This person had already put forth the effort to get us kicked out of where we lived and her intentions succeeded in the end. As far as I know she is still living there and we are not.
