Scene in my head- she has friends come over to her house after shopping for crystals, friends sit in the living room. *Girl* "hold on guys i have to cleanse and put my crystals away" she goes into her room. Friends talking to each other
*scream from bed room* friend 1 "what a nice cleansing" *screams again but louder* friend 2 " oh those crystals did have some bad energy" *screams again* friend 1 " I love being a witch" friend comes out of room "okay guys lets hex that rude ass cashier" .

I’ve been feeling drawn to witchcraft & paganism. I’ve never been this drawn to & absorbed in something before. Basically I’m at the stage of learning all of the information that I can get my hands on before attempting some simple spellwork, if it feels right. I’m just following my intuition to see where it takes me.

My only input is that keep in mind there are so many traditions and labels, don't feel the necessity to label yourself or buy stuff. The fundamental concepts from my perspective seem very close and can be done in a very spartan way.
Witch of Carolina same with me. I have always been curious about magic and wanting to try it. I have lately been thinking about it more and more about it idk why. A friend is going to buy me a beginners book by Sebastian Collins on candle spells. Only thing is I want to learn the basics in person and be guided before attempting a spelling my own.

When I bring new items into my space I “quarantine” them. I put them on a shelf or appropriate space and leave them alone, allowing the energy in my space to overtake any attached energy that came with those items. This could be days or weeks or months even. Then I pick the item up and say okay now you belong here, you are special, you have consecrated, etc., or some blessing.

Speaking of cleansing stuff: A couple moons ago, I didn't have ANY moon water, so was hard-pressed to find glassware to put some in. So I did this HUGE errand-run to the stores by my house (because I had no car, and didn't want to pay for an Uber), and I walked about 5 blocks to the Salvation Army to get some discount glassware. And then I went to a Pier 1 by my house, and a pawn shop (which I found out is mostly for electronics and stuff, not random stuff people wanted to sell, lol). But the point is: I was really stressed from walking and trying to get all this stuff before the full moon. And washing it all was a NIGHTMARE.
And on top of that, I had a roommate who was snooping a little (just like "oh hey lol, what's goin' on?? XD") and since I'm a closeted witch I was just... Freaking out. So when I GET all my glassware cleaned and dried, I fit it all into a big bin (so I could take it all outside to charge), and some stuff didn't fit, so I left it on the side. But when I came back for my stuff, there was a NOTICEABLE difference in the energy I felt in it. Like before, my heart felt tight, and I felt stressed, but Afterwards, there was just a weight off my shoulders, and a tenderness I felt coming from my container.. (even though I was still stressed and hobbling up the stairs with it..! XD) And then when I brought it back into my room, I could feel the difference between the containers I cleansed and charged, and the ones I didn't. O__O (Like if I were in a movie, there would be a glow and hum to the cleansed stuff, and some ominous trumpets on the thrift-store stuff.) I felt so bad about them that I actually had to kick them out of my room until I could cleanse them..! XD
So the point is: cleansing matters. You can feel it, and it makes a world of a difference, so I can't imagine doing some spell and NOT cleansing before-hand..
(**Also when doing a spell, make sure you "power down," or close the door, or whatever you want to do to signify you're done. I've had too many spirits and things wake me up that night because I didn't "close" the ritual and turn it off).
MythicGirl2210 what do you mean by power down the spell? If I’m doing a spell that will take weeks to work I have to let things be won’t I? If I’m doing candle magic for example and I let the candle burn down but it takes 8 hours and I have to sleep for work the next day I’m not just gonna blow of snuff the candle out, I’m gonna let it burn down (safely) right?

Thank you for talking about what do when you are finished with a spell and disposal. No one ever talks about it in videos. Lots of people will say bury it, but I feel that is an inaccessible option for a lot people who rent or live in cities like you mentioned. I'm glad you talked about the different ways and their relation to the spells purpose, and that you are not the worst if you just throw something away in the end.

Visualization is honestly my go to when it comes to charching, grounding, cleansing (I additionally use salt water with that). It's really great!! 🔮

I bought a bunch of Lavender incense because I knew it was a calming thing but i never knew it was for cleansing (thought it was just sage) so thank you for clearing that up, you've saved me a LOT of time and money!
When i want things to go away i burn everything involved in the spell and then i throw the ashes in the river to be carried away as far as possible from me. I am lucky enough to live right by a river. 🙂 Thank you for these amazing videos!
Be careful with what ashes you throw in the river, sometime certain ashes can kill fish

I do my own cleansing ceremony where i will cleanse the space, but will also cleanse the energy around and in me. I sometimes use my wand for that too. I really like your vids. They're so helpful. A lot of people think i'm evil and sick, because i'm a witch. I just wish that people knew more about it, because as witches, we know it is a very loving and positive thing to do.

Awesome, yes! Witchcraft is trendy right now, so many people getting into it, which I appreciate the Rising of Wisdom Keepers... but it also becomes dangerous, when people don’t have good training. Lots of info out in the interwebs, people need to study a bit, at least before jumping right in. Your videos are super chill, good information for the novice practitioner. People want to get too crazy crazy, before at least learning the basics. I genuinely enjoy your channel.
Love the video. Just recently found your page. Being an empath medium I find it extremely easy to put my intentions into things and they work really well. I did a prosperity spell last year, and until this day it is still working like a dream. Yes things have been tough but I always had enough money to pay all my bills.

One thing I’ve learned is with your intentions don’t allow the outcome to be negative. Like instead of saying “I hope this job interview goes well” say “I will get this job” or like “I want to be safe” say “I will stay safe”

Hey, for any broom closet witches, heres a really subtle way to cleanse! So take a bottle of some cheap febreeze spray or perfume of some kind, and put some moon water, salt, crystals, herbs, anything to drive out energies! Hope this might have helped anyone!

Blueberry Matcha! I agree that I need details...I have been drawn to this different times throughout my life but I can’t get the simple straight down to the basics shit to help. I have been cleansing. My 7 year old son even helps me! And we always do our crystals. He is very drawn to all of this he believes legit! He even talks about go away negative energy And says bless our home! I didn’t even tell him he just picks up on stuff. I’ve been cleansing my TV...is that weird? We just ordered a sound bowl also! So the cleansing lately I’ve learned more & do a variety of different types now & I love that. I know it sounds crazy but I cannot remember how I learned but I used to make sigils when I was in grade school! When I watched your video on how to make them it all came flooding back. The quarantine has just made me like extra extra sensitive now. Funny thing luckily before I had just started to learn to meditate (without hyperactivity kicking in) and visualization. Protecting myself & grounding. I just looked it all up one day, I never had the time before to dive in I have just tried to suffer through a lot of shit that I needed to learn more about. (Yelling in my ear, voices when no one is around, visions that come true) but now I have the time & I have learned so much from u in days than since the beginning of the quarantine trying to find someone or something to help me that I could connect with. I love your vibe....thank u

I toss almost all my spell leftovers in the trash. I do not have a garden. When I lived in a home with a fireplace I burned them. But I toss things in the trash and have no problem with that.
"Busy witch, lazy witch" now there's a tshirt I need! lol!
I don't have a visual brain so "visualising" the feeling of things is the only thing I do but I find it very powerful.
Hearing you speak about it, actually when I started including some of the smaller touches my spells became more powerful, although I do think it was also partly feeling more confident in myself so I felt more confident to do it "properly" and stuff too

I use the word 'spell' when I produce an effect by serendipity over stages. When I talk about a 'make', then I do the thing with composition of rituals on one item that goes through a metaphorical life cycle. The movie-stuff spellwork is closer to what I would call a ritual, most of the time.
