Actually, sidekicks have much more *autonomy* than henchmen. Instead of blindly following orders, a sidekick works _with_ his superhero to stop crime.
Sidekick implies they are by the heroes side. Henchmen implies they do the villains dirty work so the villian doesn't have to lift a finger.
80% of this was either TJ or Dr. Two Brains and I live for it.
