I love how by this point Chuck is just done with people being confused by his name, she’s like ‘Chuck the Evil Sandwich-Making Guy?’ and he just sighs and continues on And it also shows Miss Power’s ability to find something sensitive to attack, she goes for the obvious thing and then keeps testing stuff out until she finds the thread that’ll unravel you Oh, Two Brains doesn’t care about me laughing at his brains? I’ll go after his villain status. Oh, he’s riled up but relatively fine? I’ll take away his cheese. There, fuckin broken. Oh, The Butcher is still pretty fine after I pointed out how weird the meat thing is? Call him stinky. Boom. Everyone else was pretty easy, because Becky is pretty easy to figure out, and so is Tobey, plus she had WordGirl go after him herself, which my god I just realized she was probably intentionally using the crush thing against him, where I thought it was just accident before All of this means years of bullying had led to certain techniques that she’s sure about and can execute with ease She’s only defeated because of the respect WordGirl and the villains hold for each other But I’m surprised she didn’t do more with her power, yeah the whole bullying thing fell apart but girl just freeze someone or break WordGirl’s arm or something it’d be so easy, and then everyone else would be intimidated again
@Fionacle I mean she's obviously not above torture and murder. The dr2b thing with no cheese is basically a form of torture if you think About it. It's reaction to it isn't that he's just moved on from the fight but he's given up, entirely. He looks not even sad but depressed. Toby and the butcher looked sad. Dr2b looks depressed
Chuck and Tobey definitely make me the saddest, I know they’re villains and all but they’re too sweet and sensitive for that Tobey’s dramatic fall definitely takes me out of the moment though lmao
Straight up he would fit so well into here Tobey: You took WordGirl from me. She loved me. Miss Power: No....she despised you. You were an embarrassment....oh, look at little McCallister Jr. Gonna cry?
Not me this episode was hilarious, writers intentionally made the villains have the delinquency of a child. Notice how many of them where acting childish by fighting back tears when miss power insulted them, a real adult wouldn’t cry nor act that way they would knock your lights out with a punch to the face or elsewhere if you pulled that crap on them
I mean... It was written by the same people who wrote several classic SNL skits and Family Guy....so this checks out. It's like all the intelligent jokes I love from those adult shows without all the sexual and gross out humor I don't like.
She is right and, honestly, it’s what hurts the most. She bends the truth into her own ideology, which is that “Everyone who is against me is an antagonist”.
I mean yeah but with people like Chuck and Two Brains that’s something they can’t control And with The Butcher it’s his entire theming so like Kinda cruel to bring that up when apprehending them, no?
Also he bullied Tobey who is just a kid. I never see his father being mentioned and him being abuse lately terrified of his mother gives me weird vibes as someone who got a TA Liscence. He doesn't seem to have a healthy relationship with anything and it's devolved into an obsession with word girl. The only way to get word girl attention si to be a bad guy so that'd what he became. A bad kid. Bad kids usual do bad shit for attention
I love how Tobey seems like he got the insults the worst and took them the hardest, and he's just some 9 year old lmao To be fair, I've bullied children for less, but still, Miss Power is ruthless
She knows how to play the game, she’s hitting them where it hurts the most, she knows emotions can be a powerful thing and when used against another person via insults those emotions come out of that person in full force. Turning the once mighty and proud into the snot nosed scaredy cat crybaby who’s afraid of everything even their own shadows
Exhibit B includes the roasting of wordgirl and Tobey and Tobey had it worse than wordgirl. Tobey is probably in a depression and wordgirl got momnapped by miss power.miss power was toying with her.
I love when people take this episode and make Ms. Power way more of a threat, her manipulating WordGirl even further and even killing the villains, like this character could have gone so far, though obviously I’m glad they never did stuff that extreme in the show But it would be cool so see some lasting impacts, like this one fan comic had her and WordGirl inflicting horrible scars onto the villains, like Chuck had a hole in his face, Tobey had a hole in his arm, Butcher lost part of his hand and had to get some mechanical fingers, there was some creepy intense stuff in there but some more minor things would be cool to see explored, like how HTTYD tackled disabilities It’s so hilarious though seeing such intense stuff come from a glorified anti-bullying PSA

I loved this nice compilation of Miss Power. Also wow the nostalgia! This was my favorite cartoon as a kid, I’m happy people are getting interested in it and bringing back fond memories for me 💕💕
Miss Power was voiced by Jane Lynch, who voiced Sergeant Calhoun in Wreck It Ralph. Jane had a fun time playing bitchin character types and balancing Miss Power's character line that was so brilliant, Miss Power was a mean spirited villain we all love to hate.
This highlights a good point though. There is very little justification for using superpowers to control the villains. Just bully them a bit and they tend to just stop what they’re doing. Quite fragile egos

@{𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒮𝒾𝓁𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝑀𝑜𝑜𝓃} I think because Tobey is in love with Wordgirl so her bullying him literally broke his heart because that’s so out of character for her. Like yeah she’s the hero and he’s the villain and they have their witty banter, but they never go as far as to bully each other. Also he’s the same age as her so yknow, words hurt more when you’re younger and being bullied, especially by the ones you admire. Wow…sorry I read too much into that 😂😅
Is this woman seriously beefing with elementary school kids? 😤 she's about to catch these hands ong
"ask her out Toby the worst she can say is no"
what she said: 2:04
She's the Shego of heroes lol. Her banter is amazing cause it's all the truth.......She's that worlds batman and I love it. Word girl episode I really want to see lol
@cherry berry considering this is a pbs show this is as close to Batman as it's gonna get lol 🤣🤣🤣
She is female Omni Man.
Reminds of that Powerpuff Girls episode in which they met that female villain who loved Susan B. Anthony coins and she turned them into "feminist" jerks.
She turned them into feminists? That's the evilest thing I can imagine
That’s called a fake feminist
@@myang12003 another term folks have used was "feminazis" which was worse. Basically the episode did a great job at showing the positive and negative sides of feminism
@@laurendaley2503 Anther term twitter feminist
There was also the episode where Mojo Jojo takes advantage of animal rights activists by going "Help! I'm being oppressed!"
the double brain guy sounds so much like the ice king
They are both voiced by Tom Kenny (voice of spongebob, Ice king, Dr. Two Brains, ect)
Oh well that would explain it
@@iam_applesauce8137 I feel so dumb I should’ve looked up the voice casts a long time ago if I knew that 💀
@@northcoast2469 don't worry, whem i was young, i was loved the shows word girl, power puff girls, spongebob, and adventure time and i didn't find out that Tom Kenny voiced spongebob, Patchy, Narrator, The Mayor, Dr. Two Brains, and Ice King (and maybe a few others), so we in the same boat
@@iam_applesauce8137 thanks, Respect!🙏🏿
1:32 That just feels like a slur LOL
It really does 😂 especially when there are other sandwich people 😬🥪
Chuck has a brother that also a sandwich
Also this background character called Sammy Sub
The fact that word girl finally realized it when miss power told two brains he's done with cheese it seriously took word girl that long
The implication was that Miss Power was going to kill him. Meanwhile, WordGirl finally acknowledged her mistake when she had to face her mother.
It's because that's considered inhumane torture. He needs the cheese to survive. It literally causes him physical pain if he doesn't. The longer without cheese the worse the pain is.
wow season 2 of invincible is looking good
"Why should I listen to u, you're just my sidekick"
U were the one who hitched a ride on his ship and made him crash to Earth.
Yeah that hurts as much as "Why should I listen to you, you aren't my real parents" If I was Huggy I would have cried then left at the moment.
Wordgirl said, "I hate scaplers."
This shit was the OG invincible
Nah, Invicible is just the secondary WordGirl.
2:28
I need to give this child a hug…🥲
His robots in the scene actually draw him a photo and give it to him, with a smiling robot and the words family with a hand on his shoulder. Then Mrs Power kills them alll
@@The8B1tWarrior 😭
oh i remember was seeing the mom shock as her kids backtalk her, i mean dang even i wont do that but beside the point i know Becky learn her lesson but seeing her idol miss power just because miss power was controlling her young self, one thing i always hate about young superhero who have a double life is how they containing about missing stuff, i was scare for becky thinking she turn bad
Did…did I just find this video in my recommended…
SUTH UP
@@7th.Camerawoman i agree
Yes.
1:33 love the sheer realization on becky’s face of what she just said
Miss Power is essentially just a realistic sassy person having to deal with cartoon personalities lol.
I love how by this point Chuck is just done with people being confused by his name, she’s like ‘Chuck the Evil Sandwich-Making Guy?’ and he just sighs and continues on
And it also shows Miss Power’s ability to find something sensitive to attack, she goes for the obvious thing and then keeps testing stuff out until she finds the thread that’ll unravel you
Oh, Two Brains doesn’t care about me laughing at his brains? I’ll go after his villain status. Oh, he’s riled up but relatively fine? I’ll take away his cheese. There, fuckin broken.
Oh, The Butcher is still pretty fine after I pointed out how weird the meat thing is? Call him stinky. Boom.
Everyone else was pretty easy, because Becky is pretty easy to figure out, and so is Tobey, plus she had WordGirl go after him herself, which my god I just realized she was probably intentionally using the crush thing against him, where I thought it was just accident before
All of this means years of bullying had led to certain techniques that she’s sure about and can execute with ease
She’s only defeated because of the respect WordGirl and the villains hold for each other
But I’m surprised she didn’t do more with her power, yeah the whole bullying thing fell apart but girl just freeze someone or break WordGirl’s arm or something it’d be so easy, and then everyone else would be intimidated again
Oh I forgot Becky straight up told her his biggest fear thing
It’s freaky how easy it was for Miss Power to change her
@Fionacle I mean she's obviously not above torture and murder. The dr2b thing with no cheese is basically a form of torture if you think About it. It's reaction to it isn't that he's just moved on from the fight but he's given up, entirely. He looks not even sad but depressed. Toby and the butcher looked sad. Dr2b looks depressed
Villains: stop brain washing word girl
Tobey's Tears made me laugh. But Two-Brains' broke me
Chuck and Tobey definitely make me the saddest, I know they’re villains and all but they’re too sweet and sensitive for that
Tobey’s dramatic fall definitely takes me out of the moment though lmao
dang this show was a lot better than I remembered
4:35 ok officially too far even by real world legal system. that is beyond bullying that is cruel AND unusual punishment.
by the way there was a heart before but then i made an edit to make it more on point.
I’m pretty sure he actually gets migraines from cheese withdrawals due to the mouse brain too, making it even more cruel
@@normalhuman9878oh yea. It's physical pain if he doesn't get cheese. The longer it is, the more violently I'll he gets

Well, you're lucky this is a superhero TV Y show and not a superhero TV Y7 FV show, trash-talking is very common there.
Ultimately, it did teach a very good lesson though against bullying
Oh please.
They're the stinking bad guys!
They deserve it!
Na bro it's just black air force energy 🤣🤣🤣

The Powerpuff Girls had the first Karen
2:46 "Where's Word Girl? She's not mean like you." 'Word Girl sitting on the couch' 'Get him MP!'
0:41 idk why seeing Butcher almost cry made me feel horrible
*YOU’RE A MEAN LADY, YOU KNOW THAT?!?!*
Not me this episode was hilarious, writers intentionally made the villains have the delinquency of a child. Notice how many of them where acting childish by fighting back tears when miss power insulted them, a real adult wouldn’t cry nor act that way they would knock your lights out with a punch to the face or elsewhere if you pulled that crap on them
Watching this without context makes the show look like an adult parody of Dora XD Or at least rated for you know not kids.
it was rated 7 and up and was pitched as a satirical parody of kids shows, so that checks out! XD
@@HyperfixationStation I mean, the Narrator was a massive 4th wall breaking smartass who teased Becky/WG all the time. That alone is hilarious.
@@GumSkyloard it was so good lmao, I loved the show as a kid but as an adult it's somehow so much better
I mean... It was written by the same people who wrote several classic SNL skits and Family Guy....so this checks out. It's like all the intelligent jokes I love from those adult shows without all the sexual and gross out humor I don't like.
@@pina_nina_fresa yeah I figured it did lol
I hate to say it, but she’s right about most of what she’s saying.
There was tuth to it but it was unnecessary to ridicule them to apprehend them. Break their crime not their self-worth.
She is right and, honestly, it’s what hurts the most. She bends the truth into her own ideology, which is that “Everyone who is against me is an antagonist”.
I mean yeah but with people like Chuck and Two Brains that’s something they can’t control
And with The Butcher it’s his entire theming so like
Kinda cruel to bring that up when apprehending them, no?
The whole ugly haircut and clothes thing was unecessary. Like really?
Also he bullied Tobey who is just a kid. I never see his father being mentioned and him being abuse lately terrified of his mother gives me weird vibes as someone who got a TA Liscence. He doesn't seem to have a healthy relationship with anything and it's devolved into an obsession with word girl. The only way to get word girl attention si to be a bad guy so that'd what he became. A bad kid. Bad kids usual do bad shit for attention
For the first 2 maybe 2 n a half minutes most of those we're pretty tamed, like the raw meat or that one joke about Toby's mom being behind him.
shit got real as soon as miss power went for chuck, twobrains and the freaking exposition guy
I love how Tobey seems like he got the insults the worst and took them the hardest, and he's just some 9 year old lmao
To be fair, I've bullied children for less, but still, Miss Power is ruthless
She knows how to play the game, she’s hitting them where it hurts the most, she knows emotions can be a powerful thing and when used against another person via insults those emotions come out of that person in full force. Turning the once mighty and proud into the snot nosed scaredy cat crybaby who’s afraid of everything even their own shadows
The lore of this show is so interesting. The writers lowkey worked overtime, ngl I wanna watch this show.
1:27 Did she just assert her dominance?
First of all, savage.
Secondly, solving problems with dialogue instead of violence.
Thirdly, never heard if this show and it's from when I was a kid.
To be fair, I think we were all thinking the same thing about the police station guy
all i hear is alot of EmOTinaL DAMAGE
Lmaoo PBS really just showed kids about shapeshifting reptilians
If Karen’s has actual powers and authority
Miss power is a menace to society exhibit A
Exhibit A includes rosting the butcher twice and folding 2brains like nothing
Exhibit B includes the roasting of wordgirl and Tobey and Tobey had it worse than wordgirl. Tobey is probably in a depression and wordgirl got momnapped by miss power.miss power was toying with her.
I love when people take this episode and make Ms. Power way more of a threat, her manipulating WordGirl even further and even killing the villains, like this character could have gone so far, though obviously I’m glad they never did stuff that extreme in the show
But it would be cool so see some lasting impacts, like this one fan comic had her and WordGirl inflicting horrible scars onto the villains, like Chuck had a hole in his face, Tobey had a hole in his arm, Butcher lost part of his hand and had to get some mechanical fingers, there was some creepy intense stuff in there but some more minor things would be cool to see explored, like how HTTYD tackled disabilities
It’s so hilarious though seeing such intense stuff come from a glorified anti-bullying PSA
Oh I remember a big thought I had, where did Becky’s ice breath go?! They totally should have kept that
Words are Powerful
Are you kidding me, these words are far too lenient they wouldn't even classify as playground talk, that's how lenient they are. Be lucky this isn't a TV Y7 FV superhero cartoon, trash-talking is normal.
@@Nameless82284 What got you in a Twist bru?
I meant in General;
Sometimes, telling a Depressed Person that they are never going to be cured or will always be alone for being depressed may lead to them to Suicide if they really didn't have anyone to help them.
Watch your mouth and be careful what to say, because This Person you're telling will never be happy may truly not live long enough to be happy.
@@themphantom9138 Nothing, I have been called much worse before, and I've been physically hurt too. As I said, this type of trash talk is far too lenient to be classified as playground talk. It would be brutal, Miss Power can easily tell the Joker that Batman doesn't take him seriously, if he did Joker would be in a real prison not Weenie hut Jrs.
"So you're a penguin themed crime boss? That's excessively dumb even for this city!"
"Well sometimes I go by my real name and penguins can be seen a motif of sorts."
"A lame motif I guess. Even then you've spent millions on outfitting a nuclear submarine with flippers! That nullifies any sort of respect you could ever hope to get. Oh and penguins are flightless, unlike you."
"But...Well.. I could- wait what?"

I like Miss Power she's one tough cookie
Miss Power was voiced by Jane Lynch, who voiced Sergeant Calhoun in Wreck It Ralph. Jane had a fun time playing bitchin character types and balancing Miss Power's character line that was so brilliant, Miss Power was a mean spirited villain we all love to hate.

She decimates everyone in the most PG way possible
This highlights a good point though. There is very little justification for using superpowers to control the villains. Just bully them a bit and they tend to just stop what they’re doing. Quite fragile egos
