I think there a huge common misconception about Liam Gallagher (admittedly he caused it). The perception is he’s pretty rude and has this does-whatever-he-wants attitude. I think under the front he’s actually quite a respectful, decent person. He’s quick to mention the other writers here and the quality of the Foo Fighters work.

he was the "do whatever the fk i want" member in oasis. that's why noel got tired of his schtick. but now he has his own band and he's older now, he changed for the better, i suppose. but back then, it was a different story.
I find it quite fascinating when Liam becomes slightly more enthusiastic he gets up and tries to explain a thing using all of his physicality like hands, gestures and movements etc.. Maybe it helps him to explain and make sense of things.

It’s so great to see Liam coming down to earth and socialising. He’s a very loving caring guy deep down but has deep issues cos of the way his dad treated Noel and Liam. He’s just fookin mad fer it naturally cool as,….. love him to bits. But I was massive on oasis anyway so you can’t really not like the equal main member. 👌✌️👍. Sweet as Liam. Nice to see. Keep it up.
I’d say he’s widely despised for being a self centred ego maniac. I can’t find anything to suggest otherwise. He’s pissed off a tonne of people in the past and his only friends these days are generally whoever his current band mates are of which he pays their salary.

There is nothing disappointing about Noel’s career pal, the man reinvented himself as a solo artist in his 40s and has had countless number 1 albums and incredible hits, most of which would have never happened had oasis not split up when they did, as an oasis fan I will never understand this weird partisan attitude that you have to like one brother over the other, it’s Liam and Noel’s feud not ours, they’re both absolutely mega in different ways. Noel’s sound has become more sophisticated over the years, you can’t expect the guy to write cigarettes and alcohol in his 50s, it’s been done mate, we all have to evolve and grow up, as for Liam he is what he is, a no nonsense rock n roll star who loves to perform, I hope they both carry on well into their 70s.

I tend to agree there are only about three Foo Fighters songs I like. They are a bit like Coldplay to me. Most of their songs sound the same. No real bite in them or cathy tune. Granted the Foos are a bit louder than Coldplay but that is about it.
