I love this arrangement, especially with its beautiful expression aah~
It really draws you in then nearly forces the emotions from you like

I really like this version of the song; I feel like the regular version is a bit too energetic for the subject matter, whereas this really captures the emotion. I would love to hear a full piano version someday.

the first time i heard this so g i didn't really pay attention to the lyrics. after a while though, i listened to it again. i've never seen kagerou days but this hit me hard. mostly because i myself was suicidal at one point of my life.

This song is about when Ayano died. It wasn't their faults, so it's still ship goals.
Shintaro didn't abuse her in any way and wasn't even mean to her. She killed herself in an attempt to save her siblings, and it's even mentioned that she was upset about leaving him. He wasn't glad that she died at all, he cried in the Wanyanpuu video and even went to such lengths in Lost Time Memory as to kill himself to try to get her back.
I don't know where your thinking was here, but (and I mean no disrespect in saying this,) it makes more sense for them to be ship goals than to not. Aside from personal opinion, that is.

Yes.
If you want to understand the story, I'd suggest starting out with the songs and novels. The first eleven volumes of the manga would help too. The anime,, isn't really the best. Any manga volume after 11 should probably be read after you understand the story, or at least the basics.

You know what? I never gave this song the credit it really deserved. When I was travelling far away from my home to stay elsewhere for a week, it was so busy and cluttered. All I had was my iPod and the music loaded on it there, since the internet currently wasn't working, and this song was loaded on it. I don't know why, but it's really what helped me pull myself together and enjoy my stay while I was there. Of course it sounds silly, and I don't know why it was this song in particular, but it's what helped me get past the stressful relatives and excessive walking all week. Thank you so much for this; I'm not sure what would've happened had this not been here to help me.
