I researched it last year. The first rollercoaster was built in Pennsylvania US however its no longer operational. The scenic railway was opened in 1912. Hard to believe!
Hi, sorry I just checked this info. It turns out that the Rollercoaster in Altoona Pennsylvania is still running so my mistake. The scenic railway in Melbourne is No 2.

@@retrothingz yes possibly. I looked into the worlds oldest rollercoaster in Pennsylvania but not sure if its still operating?
