If you hold down power and volume buttons at the same time it will do a hard reset. You will loose all info/pictures on the phone though unless they are backed up by Google

One: don't tell people your password ever...that's a risky mistake Two: always write your password regardless of your memory Three: reset your device then log back in If your information is memorized or backed up you should be fine You just look up how to reset your phone..it'll give you the steps It erases your data but you can get it back easy
Hi, actually found sd card reader that I had but forgot about, thank god I had a SD adapter. Got the zip file on the SD card but when I inserted the card into the phone, I don't see the file. I can see the zip file on the sd card when it's plugged into the laptop but for some reason when I'm in the recovery screen and I look into all of the files, the zip card is not there. I tried to place it into a folder such as one named android, nothing ,put it into DCIM file - nothing. By itself on the card - nothing. So the phone is not recognizing it on the card. I'm almost there! But this is another stumbling block. I almost wiped it with a hard reset but I don't want to give up at this stage. Any suggestions appreciated. It's a cheap phone but I really don't want to lose my data and most of all, with the help given in your video, I hate to give up. The video is really letting me understand the inner workings of a smartphone and I appreciate the knowledge you shared.
My mobile is LG Nexus 5, my problem is, i just given my mobile update, after update it is asking the password, same time there is a new screen above the password screen (new screen is - Tap to speak ). new screen is google Tap screen. so i canot do anything. it is stucked up. but i can switch off, switch ON, but, if i am Tap the screen, it is not moving or not changing. and also i canot give the password, because the password screen is in downside of the Tap screen. What i have to do ? again have to do update or not ? Thank you advance
I hope someone can help me. I contacted Samsung but they ask me to call. Can't do it if I can't get into my phone! My phone screen has emergency call on it & asks for a password. I have no idea how to get past this to get my phone to work. Please help!
