Samsung removed unlock option via Samsung account. I'm locked out for 24 hours after every swipe attempt. Have you looked into overcoming these types of issues?

I got to safe mode by doing hard reboot, and then holding volume down 4 seconds after logo appeared. But after following this proceedure, the "new" pin is not allowed. When I am in safe mode, after putting the first pin, I have to wait 30 seconds. It does not let me put it in 5 times continuously. Thanks for your help!

If your Android is rooted this method can never work for your phone...solution is to hard reset the phone

This was 1 year ago. It’s outdated. Instead you need to contact Samsung Support and tell them the situation you’re in.
