When I watch these videos I find it interesting how many of the toys have been around for a long time. The tangle was originally a baby toy (I still have one) except the pieces don't come apart. The ball with the clay inside dates back to the 70s (that I know of) and was used for hand strengthening. In the 80s I saw toys similar to the dino with the glitter pop out. The 70s had the according type tubes and toys similar to the purple egg dino.
I grew up in the 60's and my parents had all kinds of puzzle toys and fidgety type toys around, mazes with balls, but also one with a blob of Mercury (that I still have), so much fun, you could shake it and the mercury would split into a gazillion bits, then you could help it to clump back together. It was easier to manipulate than a ball bearing because of it's softness and goozing around corners. They had cubes with different colored sides that you were supposed to stack and try to get all matching. Never did solve that one. Things with sand, lava lamps of course. I'm pretty sure my mother was on the autism spectrum, and dad was an engineer so he liked figureing out things too. I still like puzzles. Even those wooden puzzles like cube or sphere that you take apart and put back together. So growing up with them, and being fascinated by them of course I had them around for my children too.
@@kayvee101 You can mix Cornstarch with a little bit of water, add some food coloring. It looks liquid and runny if you stir it gently and slowly. My mother tricked me with it once as a child, asked me to help her stir it in the kitchen, and when I tried, it tried to get solid on me. Fascinating stuff.
This is why I love your reviews! I have Fibromyalgia, hypermobility and neuropathic pain and your review really help with diciding which work with my joints/pain. I've had so many times I got a fidget toy and it turned out it hurts so badly to use or that I actually dislocate my joints on them

@Nia! hi! So google probably explains it better than me, but basically I get annoyed very quickly with small sounds that either most people can’t hear or their brain ignores it cause of how small the sound is. I’m never an upset/aggravated person until it comes to like a pen or calculator clicking… (or pop it 😅) so I hate when I get upset and it also really distracts me from whatever I’m doing. Each person with Misophonia has different views on what sounds annoy them, as well as testing a scale on how extreme they have it. It can’t really be officially diagnosed but I’d def check it out to learn more! Hope this helped a bit 😅😊
According to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary misophonia is a condition in which one or more common sounds (such as the ticking of a clock, the hum of a fluorescent light, or the chewing or breathing of another person) cause an atypical emotional response (such as disgust, distress, panic, or anger) in the affected person hearing the sound.

Hey Jackie.. ever thought of getting a wide tub that you could put behind you so when you throw the rubbish over your shoulder it will hopefully land in the tub instead of on the floor. You can still write on the back side of the paper. Just flip the pop it cover to the back then lay open the plastic cover with the paper like a normal note book🥰 I hope that helps, if you even see this. My comments never get seen by any of my favorite youtubers 🥺
Yeah, hopefully she figures that out for herself, honestly! Think of the joy when one of your favorites DOES respond. I will always remember dancing around my kitchen when Lennon the Bunny responded to me, it was awesome
I’ve been curious about taking up wotagei dances (the dances people do with glow sticks, commonly among Japanese idol fans) because it seems very stim-appeasing and fun. And ngl some of those light up fidget toys would make for some cool ideas (the caterpillar and the tube especially). Though my favorite kind of fidget toy isn’t even a toy. You know those big poofy makeup brushes you use for blush and stuff? I always LOVED how fluffy they are (I do need a new one though).

I got the light up one too. I agree with all you said, I didn’t like the hat one at all. My son loves to slam the caterpillar and make me jump lol. He slams it on the stair railing and then pull it off. The T-Rex was awesome!
you always have so much content THANKS
Anyone else misses the actual crafting content? Like, Crafting kits? Those were fun.
@1:38-1:51 I'm wearing headphones, wasn't looking, and totally needed a "Get yo mind out of the gutter!" There... 🤣
(Edited to adjust the numbers, was laughing too hard.)
HI JACKIEEEE I love your vids, you have inspired me sm

Love you and your videos❤🥰
“ look a sharp pointy thing subscribe or I will do nothing” I loved that
Hey, great video. I enjoyed the dino things ☺️ I always appreciate when you say whether a fidget/tool may be hard to use for a chronic pain sufferer 🦇
Hi Jackie👋👋👋 I just wanna say I LOVE ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS, I've been watching you for about 3 years now maybe a little longer😍 I would like to reccomend 1 thing though about the pop it note book.
Love the dino fidgets! All of them!
Currently watching this while unboxing and starting my project with my SNACK box!!!! ❤
Omg I've been looking for quite fidgets!!
Edit: I meant quiet sorry
I knew there was something extra special about you I liked! I'm majoring in cultural anthropology and linguistics, so I've had to take my share amount of archeology classes 😊
Fidget toys have come so far. Love your content Jackie!
