I used to work at Dollar Tree and we would sell most of the toys in this box. Like most of the balls, donut squishies and the Jaru branded ones

it seems like she's just separating sets of mochis and those squishy balls/bears and putting cheap squishy items in to fill it up which is sad, i was expecting high quality squishies like needoh cubes and stuff

Unfortunately, to include needoh and branded things, you'd have to have all these copyright permissions and it costs to use that in a product you want to sell. It would be too expensive, which would make the advent calendar much more expensive for customers..
The donut mochi's are an actual set called Squeesh Yum Jiggly Donuts, they come all together in a set of 6 for only 5ish usd I believe. I recognized them right away 😓
I know you've gotta keep things nice with other creators, but this was absolutely an In The Trash thing. I could fill that from the dollar store and those quarter vending machines, and there was no variety. How upsetting. :( You know it'll sell because she's so popular, and it's just junk.
I know! The company jarau or whatever I see that brand at my local DOLLAR STORE. I would never buy one of those and it’s so sad for the people that think there getting high value on all there surprises or whatever people call them

Honestly... it’s cheap wholesale items and even the box isn’t screaming Christmas. Not a fan, love the creator but this box could be so much better than it is.
A LOT of people have the same feeling about heavy = quality, but companies know that and will take advantage of it. For instance, those Beats earbuds and earphones actually have small weights built into them to make them feel heavier and thus make people think they must be higher quality.
Personally I think Mrs. Bench every year does these advent calendars that seem very cash-grabby and cheap. It’s obvious many of the products aren’t the best quality and are drop shipped with no attention to detail in the packaging or item.
I love you Jackie, but you're obviously going easy on this review because it's Mrs Bench's calender. Anyone else would've been torn to shreds 😅 the box is a complete rip-off.
Personally if I got a squishy calendar I would expect more of the foam ones, that’s where my brain goes for squishies and the type I perfer

By the quality it's obvious that all those toys were bought on Ali and she just resells them. Even 20-30$ is a lot for this box- that creator didn't even bother with boxes. Nothing says it is Christmas and real advent.
IKR? When she opened it and I saw those boxes I was SO confused! Like… even if you didn’t want to do a super “Christmas” theme-an advent calendar should be decorative… inviting… fun to open. This feels like you’ve ordered a bunch of items online and they were packaged together and you’re just going through and opening them. Like unboxing supplies vs. “surprises” etc. I mean… solid colored, totally un-holiday related, or even fun, colors at that… and given the type of products (you know it’s not make-up etc.) there needed be some holiday relevant or seasonally themed squishiest! That several were green seems mod like a coincidence than a choice… and yet choices were made… “choices” were made… 👀 😂
@donizettirules yes, box is so sad - where is that best time of the year spirit? And I'm sure there is an option to put the brand name on toys, if you buy a whole batch. It already would make this advent much better.

I think she shouldve put the mochi rings in one box and put more types of squishies in there. The mochi rings probably cost her just a few cents, she really cheaped out on those, kinda disappointing imo :(
The pink fuzzy creature for day 20 immediately brought the nostalgia for me. It looks pretty much exactly like the fuzzy guys from Chuzzle! Even the noise it makes sounds like the noises in the game. Man now I want one!
I think that first one would be great for anyone who does hand crafts like knitting or crochet too. I know after a while even with stretches my hands can get sore and tired, that looks really nice

I saw a video from Mrs. Bench and the reason why it’s not really Christmas themed is because she wants it to also be opened by people who celebrate Christmas or even when it’s not Christmas, people can still enjoy and open it.

I love that Mrs. Bench took the feedback and used it to improve the product! If only big companies can do the same thing. And personally I don't mind the colors. Not everyone celebrates Christmas so having bright colors is a good thing rather than the usual green/red/silver/blue.

That’s a pretty cheap, lazy and uninspiring box. No seasonal theming in the packaging - and it is specifically an advent calendar. Lots of the same and all Ali Express style cheap items with a hefty markup.
Hey jackie! Seeing that you posted today made my day! I was in a car accident last night. I couldn't see a ditch and i drive right into it and ruined a few things in the front end of my car. I hit my head and few times and was whipped around. My parents didnt care about me at all, and almsot immediately started yelling at me. Im doing better today just sore but i wanted to tell you that seeing your videos has saved me so many times. Thank you for being you. I think the best advice is be yourself and you’ll find like-minded people. I love these advent calender videos even though the ones by Mrs. Bench especially are SUPER not worth it and never have been over the years. I respect that you review them though, I'm sure it's beneficial to you!

The needoh advent calendar was also a squishy calendar. It was $15 cheaper than this one, included higher quality items (minus the 6 air filled ones, BUT it does let us know there will be 6 air filled ones inside it on the back of the box), and a more exciting unboxing experience in my opinion.
I hate getting repeats in advent calendars there is definitely enough different types of squishy fidget toys to not have so many repeats...
This lime and orange fidget is something you’d get from a gacha-pon in Japan. There were other types of fruits too

Honestly not impressed. They all seem to be the inexpensive type of squishy. not even one regular foam squishy? Plus, ordered twice from her, and both time, got several cheap and damaged items that were unusable. Frankly, this seems lazy, with the same type of squishy over and over.

Missed the festive christmas-theme a little... it felt like random plain boxes with random toys inside. Just some christmas stickers on the boxes would make it more appealing to open imo

My favorite splat ball that I haven’t found in years is the egg one. It’s white in the shape of an egg and when you splat it, it reveals a yellow yolk inside and looks like a fried egg lol it entertained me a lot
Normally I dont like fidget toy reviews but I always like yours because even if its not your kind of fidget, you still talk about what it is and how it feels/works rather than a lot of other ppl who just go 'not my thing' and give it a low rating
i love the mochi and the crunchy kitty. Those types and the oorbeez balls are my favorites. Not a fan of slime but i can get the slime feeling from most putties. Thanks for making these videos

I can't unsee that "peach"😅 and the snotty bear is very cute. I like the water balls with tinsel I find them pretty to look at and mesmerizing in the right light. I'm having fun watching these advent calendar unboxings. ❤

The ball at the beginning would be PERFECT for artists as well to stretch before drawing, and for someone like me who has been drawing my whole life (literally), my hands tend to hurt and cramp a LOT so i like to use massage things like that!

After seeing what day 1 does, in addition to musicians, I'd say crochet or knit artists can use it as well to strengthen their hands before crocheting or knitting. I crochet, so I'd definitely use it to help my hands!❤ Love this video!

It just looks like she took cheap stuff and put it into boxes with no thought and called it a day. Not to mention how bad the design of the box is, or the fact that some of the numbers inside are hard to see. Seems like this was made in a day for a quick buck if you asked me.

I know I'm not the only one thinking that this advent calendar is a complete scam... The mochi rings count being so high and so cheap, the 20th pink ball I bought the same in a funfare for 2 dollars, the fruit slice pop is cheap as well... The only "expensive" thing is the ones where she left the wrapper and tags and still that doesn't explain the 37 dollars pricetag an the advent calendar. And the absence of variety as Jackie said all throughout the video... I expected more from Mrs.Bench.
