24:05 glad you spotted the mural. That was painted to celebrate Belstaff's centenary for events at Gladstone museum in May this year, as this was roughly where the Longton factory was. Like all things to do with manufacturing, UK production of garments both here and in Silverdale (their second factory) were closed down in the late 90's.
I just watched your video on Longton. It was eye-opening to see the changes and the number of derelict buildings and boarded-up shops. Your walk and talk format really brought the issues to light. Thanks for keeping us updated on the situation in Stoke on Trent. Looking forward to more of your insights!

Great history but...
Shocking present - everywhere boarded up or broken windows and you look up to trees growing out of buildings.
Bleak future
It would have been so much better if you had asked someone with local (Longton) knowledge about the history of some of the buildings.
The city has six towns.
You left out Fenton.
Jollees was above where B&M and Wilko are now. The bus station was underneath Jollees years ago.
Shocking to see such decline.

Can’t understand why the stoke council ain’t spending money on the place and making it somit to be proud of , instead of just Leaving it to look a sh-t hole
