Awesome video Jacques. This is what it has all come down to. Well done on getting the car done and now racing with the BMW Club. Nick in the Black E90 is a great driver, when I saw him behind you I knew he was going to be hard to hold off. Don't feel bad about it, he and his father are great guys to race against. WELL DONE AGAIN!!!
Oh... and yeah, 265 rubber is the go to for these cars. I race in the Time Trial series with my e46 M3 road car, and I am running 265 rubber all around and get mid 1:11's at Zwartkops. Get yourself onto a set of those and you should be able to keep these guys at bay.
Thank you so much for the feedback, I am really happy with the car and just need to get a few things sorted. But all is good, looking forward to driving it again. Thanks for all the support 🙌🏻
Sure you already spotted it but it looks like you hit the kill switch with your hand as you went for the gearchange. Interesting seeing the differences in car build rules between SA and the UK. Your extinguisher setup, kill switch and helmet cam wouldn't be allowed over here in MSUK (FIA) sanctioned events. Good to see you getting a taste of what the car is capable of. It always makes me forget the hard times when that happens.
Thank you so much for pointing that out, went and looked again. A mate of mine raced in the 750Club Clio challenge. So yes 😂😂, he told me things are very different in the UK… Thanks for watching 🙌🏻
Try the gopro mounted on your helmet in front of your mouth like where the vents are. I feel like this usually gives a decent eye level angle. not that your current angle is bad at all, just suggesting.
Awesome content, Great to see the car up and running. But please look at getting either external mic for the in car video as the current setup is clipping badly and its annoying to watch with the sound on. Otherwise great work.
I’ve just subscribed. I like your spirit and genuine motorsport approach. I own one street legal E36 and I felt in love the first day I went to the track. What shifter are you using? It seems custom made. I have ordered a Coolerworx shifter with autocentering spring to avoid the shifter lever moving and reduce the chances of moneyshifting.
Thank you so much! It’s been such a journey and I am so happy I could eventually race it in anger. There is a guy who made the shifter for me here in South Africa. It’s a little too short so will modify it a bit. Good luck with your car bro. Thanks for the sub 💪🏻

Thank you 🙌🏻
Very great job man! For your next driving videos, it could be possible to include a view on the pedalbox to watch your footwork please? :)
Thank you so much 🙌🏻
I will do, thanks for the tip 👌🏻
@@ssbb_builds2090 Great, thank you very much! :D
@@ssbb_builds2090 You can add the footcam view in full screen like the other views in the editing ;)
Digging the porn tash dude. These videos are so good for showing the trials and tribulations involved in just getting a car on the track. Magnificent.
Awesome Jurassic, as always, appreciate the support 🙌🏻
