He's OK, but he's taking corners way too wide, he's not defensive with his position and brakes too soon and not hard enough, leaves a lot of space so others can surpass him
he is driving pretty clean but he's obviously not really pushing for lap times and has TC and ABS on for as far as I can tell (maybe stability control as well).
@@SnaJKirE what frame rate were you playing it at? VR required really high frame rates for racing sims for most people not to feel queezy. Minimum 90 fps.

My assetto corsa without any customization looks identical i play 4k 60 with my 1080ti ryzen 1800x. It is so realistic game. The track and even the computer AI is very good. I bought the entire package with all the cars for 22$can ?? It is incredible. But my racing wheel 360 microsoft has a broken pad need to buy the tmx pro but there is none left with the covid..impossible to find one
Even with shit graphics VR is 100% immersive and definitely improves the experience in every way. I can only imagine how good it must be ultra realistic graphics like this.
Really love AC in combo with VR, only problem is that I can't race without it anymore lol On a monitor can't get corners right anymore. Started with the Oculus Rift Touch and now also have the Oculus Quest 2.
If you want to play it on your Quest 2, you need to connect it to your pc. The game is on Steam and installed on pc. these are called PCVR games, VR headset connected to a good game pc

VR and Realistic Physics add a new defintion of realism. Yes, your car wont turn into a metal ball on smashing into a wall like in BeamNG, but its STILL SCARY AF, knowing you're going to smash that wall.
Everyone thinks the graphics are amazing... but you are all BELOW what this guy is experiencing... this is VR, meaning everything is in full stereoscopic 3D and he can lean forward to read ANY button anytime... you have to try by yourself to understand... NO video can replace it.

this would look better if u change the seating position. currently ur sitting like a busdriver who has bad eyes (or short arms) and therefore has to sit as close as possible to the screen lol.
@@MrJeffharper47 it's pretty old game and maxing it out is nothing much really. On the other hand there's a lot of mods, including graphic enhancement that you could tweak for days. I'm using one with some default settings, and yes - in VR. Never bothered to check FPS but didn't experienced any noticeable fps drops (I mainly drive hotlaps, alone on track). 1070 was really enough. Don't have it anymore so I can't confirm (switched to 3070). Also keep in mind that it won't look that good in actual VR as on youtube. There will always be some blur, visible pixels etc (depending on your headset, eyes etc.). Maxing it out isn't really necessary because you simply won't see the details. It's more about the experience than enjoying beautiful graphics. But that's just my opinion.
Well you have convinced me to buy ac. I am getting an oculas quest 2 tomorrow and I was still on the fence about what sim I want to choose. But now I know thank you.
is this modded up to the hills? Or can AC look kind of like this out of the box. I like iracing, but Im not keen on shelling out for tracks and cars every season. I have AC, just gave up on it because it seemed a bit weird compared to PC2 and iracing
Great setup must be fun and immersive...you have a bad habit of flooring it and lifting off...dont do that in real life...in game its forgiving but never lift off gas mid corner...dont learn bad habits...keeep practicing ur doing great...awesome vid
Yup, seems like he still lacks some track knowledge he got really loose in a few corners, he also brakes too early quite often, then applies the throttle to the apex then brakes again, losing tons of time there. I even noticed he put a wheel on a few kerbs you never want to. The laps were mostly clean and impressive to someone who might not know much about the Nordschleife, but those who know just a little from sim racing, watching VLN (now NLS) races or heard drivers talking about the track would instantly notice mistakes.

Assetto in VR is still hard to beat. Project Cars 2 and Automobilista are prettier but AC feels the best to me still after all these years.
you need a wheel aswell. they are unplayable with a controller.

amd ryzen 5 or i5 with a good graphics card. assetp corsa is a really easy to run game
My previous 1070 + i5 6500 handled it pretty good.
i’d say an average gaming pc is enough to run this game. my pc is gtx 1070 with ryzen 7 2700x and it runs assetto corsa pretty well
But is that running it with VR? I wanna know what kind of system it would take to run the game absolutely maxed out at 100+ FPS in VR
