Star Wars Unlimited: Deck Analysis - Cad Bane Aggression

- Welcome to the first of my Star Wars Unlimited videos. I LIVED for Destiny. And I've fallen for another FFG game all over again. And it feels fantastic. I've decided to just jump straight in and start by looking at a deck I'm working on for Set Two, Shadows of the Galaxy.
In my first deck analysis I dive into Cad Bane Aggression. There are two cards that we've had revealed over the last 24 hours that have pushed this deck into the next level. It is looking TIGHT. So! I thought I'd jump on, take you through my version of the deck, my specific choices and how it plays. This is a fun deck that I think will be both competitive and popular.

Disclaimer: This video was made in mid June 2024, at which point we only had about 70% of the cards for Shadows of the Galaxy. But surely this deck can't get any better...

Love this version of Cad! Was looking for one with Aggression that wasn't so hyper aggro focused and used plenty of Bounty Hunters. What would you think of removing for Sneak Attack? Kinda intrigued by Precision Fire, Force Choke, and Headhunting.
I know the pic that SWUDB doesn't really supply a resource curve, but is there any chance in the future when you do a deck list vid like this you can grab the resource curve graph and edit it to fit the bottom left side of the pic from the math section on SWUDB? Personally, I like to see resource curve as a quality of life visual.

I’m more hyped for cad bane than any other leader in set 2 and have been jamming aggression and mono cunning versions. I’ve done videos for space arena ground arena talking about it!

@@blackbriargaming5483 aggression for sure, the pairing with tarnintkwn is so strong. I do have the hotshot blaster and jango in my list though!
Have you tried Stolen Landspeeder? Going first is necessary if you are using that tactic.
It's a bold tactic! Your opponent doesn't have to put damage on it the next turn, so will almost definitely get to swing with it before you can take it out if they play a unit turn one.
@@blackbriargaming5483 You do one damage with the Cad ability and then kill it with Tarkin Town. You have a 4/3 on turn 1.
@Krashwire gotya!! And yeah ok, that's pretty spicy. But is it worth all that effort to then spend your epic base action, and have three cards in your hand that are only usable on the first turn? Especially as your opponent now has the initiative and can trade any 3/x into it (much more common in set two). At which point you're where you started but with a 25 health base with no epic action... Just not sold 🤔
