Thanks for your very informative videos. One question I have is about when you have worked continuously within the same NOC for several years but your responsibilities match two different job titles. That is some of your responsibilities include managerial work and others are ordinary clerical work during the same time period. But, as I mentioned both job titles belong to the same NOC. How should the reference letter be written? Does it need to refer to both job titles separately? Should It have separate sections for each title and its associated responsibilities?
    Thank you very much.

Thumbs up for the video, lots of information explained in a very simple way. I have a small doubt which I would be very grateful if you could throw some light on. I was at two different positions in the same company. The checklist asks me to upload two separate documents for my employment but I only have one reference letter containing salary and other details of my two positions and job duties (point wise and common for both positions). Is it fine to upload the same reference letter twice or I should have obtained a different letter for the other position also?
    Thanks

    Hello Sir
It was really Informative video. Thanks for your work.
I also bit confusing profile. I completed my secondary schooling under central board of secondary education in a Vocational stream (Ophthalmic techniques). After that I did 1 year of paid government sponsored apprenticeship tanning (August 2010- August 2011) in a medical college. Simultaneously, I took admission in a Bachelor degree which was distance education (2010-2013). Just after i completed my 1 year training I got a Job as Optometrist in a eye hospital, I worked there from 2nd September 2011 to 31st march 2015. After that I got admission in Masters Degree in optometry as a regular course. But our Classes used to be Once in a month for contentious 4 -5 days and i got my degree in hand in March 2019 due to delay in Research submission . Again I joint a Private eye hospital as optometrist where i work for 1 year (September 2015 to September 2016). In 2016 I joined somewhere else again as Optometrist (!st Chunk October 23 2016 to December 2016, 2nd Chunk August 2018 to January 2019). In January 2019 I got Job as assistant professor at University to teach Optometry students only I worked there for continuous 6 months and then i switched to part-timer and i worked full time from 20 jan 2019 to 31 july 2019, and as a part-timer from 1 august to this coming July 2020). while i was part-time teacher at university I was working as full time optometrist. can add all my experience? Specially which I got during my Bachelor degree and masters as well. Bachelor was distant only but masters was regular but classes use to be once in a month for a week as it was mandatory to work in a clinic to complete the Thesis work.

1 I have work experience of 12 years under various IT related NOC’s . I am applying for SINP express entry, do I need to match the SINP NOC with my primary NOC ?
2 Under SINP can I claim full points for 10 years of experience even if they are under various NOC’s ?

    Hi Kubeir, Great work. 👍
I am still a bit confused as I am about to create my EE profile. I have 3 years experience in NOC skill type A, and now, I manage my own business under NOC skill type 0 for roughly a year and some months now, though I was managing my business before I quit my skill type A job for one year before I quit to focus on my business.
I know I can claim points for all but I do not understand how to apply it when completing my EE application to maximize my score.

Thank you so much sir. I have clearly understood that we can claim CRS points for cumulative work experience of more than one years as long as we have at least 1 year continuous work experience. But still I have a question that is whether, in such scenario, I can claim points for 3 years of work experience in FSW 67 points too?
Actually, when I tried to check my eligibility for fsw on cic website, I read that your experience will be "continuous". Means, now I can claim MEC work experience points for only one year as rest of my experience is in breaks, though in the same NOC. Please help me understand it also.

    - 50% of my tasks are compatible with the (NOC1).

Hi, thank you for the video. My spouse was a Training and Development professional from 2008 to 2012 post which he was promoted to a Training & Development Manager in the same organisation. In his EE profile, would we need to mention the 2008 to 2012 experience under code 1121(HR Professional) or can we put the entire experience under 0112 (HR Manager)? He collectively has 7+ years at a managerial level and his main duties were purely focused on Training. Kindly advise.

Hi Sir, thank you for sharing this video. I have some clarifications with regards to my work experience as I am very confused due to multiple companies and some of that are contract based and working on family business. Hope you can advise me.
1.) From January 2020 to June 2021 as Administrative Officer (1 yr & 6 months) - I am working on my brother Small Business related to exporting (This is Sole Proprietor) = I have my experience letter with duties and responsibilities. Can I claim this experience and represent this as my primary NOC ?
2.) 2019 = Not working ( since I have a gap for 1 year, would they still consider to count the rest of my previous work experience?
3.) From 2015 to 2018 ( 3 years experience as Accounts Officer under 1 Company ) - during my last day from this company they only issued me a normal Certificate of Employment with Job Title, Annual Salary, period of work, however it wasn't stated my duties and responsibilities. I can't get a chance to request from my previous employer for experience letter to specify the details since my previous manager left the company and New HR doesn't bother with my request. I already sent few emails but up to date no response. Can I still count this to add as my work experience eventhough my certification have no duties and responsibilities?
4.) From 2012 to 2014 = Worked under contract based with multiple companies as Accounts Assistant - I have my Certificate of employment, however no duties and responsibilities in my certification. Can I count to add as work experience?
5.) Those experience from 2009 to 2011 - Can I exclude on my CV since I was't able to get a certificate of employment?

Apart from this, shall we arrange to get the job responsibilities mentioned in the LOR for all the NOC or only for the one in which we have minimum 12 months of work experience?

Hello, thanks for the info. I had a quick question on the work experience part - I have 6 years of continuous experience in one NOC right now, and 4 years in a different NOC prior to that. The previous experience will not give me any additional points since I will already have maximum points from my recent experience. Is it then mandatory to still mention the older experience under Work History? If I do not mention, is that considered incomplete information in my work history (since they will see a 4 year gap)? I would prefer not to mention it if I can avoid, since I might find it difficult to get reference letters.
    Thanks again!

"In the last 10 years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have? It must have been continuous, paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation."
The above point is coming while creating an EE profile. I would like to clarify the meaning of "only one occupation" as I started my carrier as an IT engineer(NOC (B) 2147) and worked for 4 years, then I was promoted to an IT Manager (NOC (0) 0213 and currently working for 5 years. Should I count 9 Years of experience as per the above question? or only one NOC code would work in this case?

What if the NOC is same but the work experience is not continuous, like ; 10 months in company A and 2 months gap and then 8 Months in company B. Would this be counted or not since a gap of 2 months came in between but the NOC remained same?

    1st internship - 3 months
    2nd internship- 3 months
    3rd internship- 6 months
Can you let me know if all the internships be considered as work experience under the Express Entry Program?

    Hi,
I'd like to apply for express entry with NOC 1123 because I've been working for a little bit more than a year in Australia doing Communications and Marketing for a not-for-profit (it's a paid job by the way). I sort of fell in love with marketing while I was doing a Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Australia as part of the course was marketing, brand management and other marketing-related subjects (I am still living in Melbourne by the way). Before coming to Australia, I was an English as a Second Language teacher (high school); my bachelor's in secondary education. My questions are: should I include my ESL teaching experience in my Express Entry application? Can I even apply wit NOC 1123 with an MBA? What could be the best way to apply? Thank you =)

Thanks a ton, for explaining this in detail. I just have a follow-up question, does continuous employment means employment under one particular company? Can the work experience under same NOC but under two different companies be added up ( like 8 months in Company A and 4 months in company B , under the same NOC ) ?

Hello, for CEC can we use experience with gap, under same noc?
I have 3 months gap for total of 11 months work (5 months job gap of 3 months then 6 months work) and after that I had a 1 year gap to get 1 more month experience under same noc code. Please let me know will this be considered as 1 year experience in canada?
Also, during that one year I cleared my license exam and was working under another noc code, on without payroll job. Can I use this work experience or not?
Please let me know what will be best way for me to show my one year Canadian work experience for EE?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hey,
I have been doing AML Compliance job since December 2018 with an additional task of ISO QMS 9001 audit. After a year in October 2019 the company sponsored me to do international Lead Auditor's certification so that I can properly conduct internal audits and facilitates external ISO audits and recently I have become Deputy Management Representative of my company as well.
Can I claim point for two NOCs simultaneously, Compliance 1114 & ISO audits 1122 ?
I think for claiming points for ISO audits they might consider that job after my certification so I can claim for only 2 years work period for that Job Duty while for compliance job we normally don't need any specific certification I can claim 1 year job experience in that, separately.
So coming back to my question, can I claim 3 years experience in Compliance n 2 years experience in ISO Audits with in time period of 3 years altogether as I have been doing these jobs simultaneously in one "insurance" company ?
