I’m actually patiently waiting for the next UP! GTI with a stage 3 tune or so. Hopefully AutotopNL can get into contact with someone who owns such one, would be super fun!
here in Brazil we do not have this gti version, but we have the TSI, people here are leaving this car from 160 HP to 190 HP with that weight he has turns into a rocket

@@thiagolima5232 Existe pessoas que tem a sua realidade e outras necessidades, por exemplo o UP é um carro bom e muito economico, então pra quem usa o carro no dia a dia é um ótimo carro pois ele é bem agil, eu particularmente com esse dinheiro nunca teria um, nesse valor pegaria um passat TFSI, civic SI entre outros carros.

Same engine with my 1.0 ecotsi seat ibiza. Sounds really nice, really fun to drive and really nice engine for city.

here in Brazil, I have a TSI Up with 132 whp. With the right preparation it is possible to reach 180 whp. Golf Turbo Tsi + Intercooler. Using 100% ethanol.
Every tsi has a intercooler standard from factory tho
Remember, Ford's 3 Zylinder 1 Litre Engine in the Fiesta got 140 PS Stock...

and maybe much more reliable, there are some fiestas 1.0 ecoboost with 200 000 km on odometer, and this engine has cast iron block.
but a very bad long gears settings for the ford, here for the UP they made right choice, short ratios gears, more fun

no, you're very right, and it's because it's a 3 cylinder... I think VW makes some very 'mature' three cyls, as opposed to some other car manufacturers...
a good three cyl kinda sounds like a V6 when it climbs up the rev range, and I really like it!

This car isn’t my c”up”of tea I like something a little more feisty I currently own a straight piped Volkswagen 2.0 2018 r line it has a tune from 310 hp to 350 hp also has a big turbo and supercharger under the hood (it spits medium crackles and pops with a few flames )

Is the gti engine upgraded over the standard 1.0tsi?
Of course yes. It is a totally different engine, with a different engine code. It has reinforced pistons and a smaller but better turbo, which makes that incredible torque. It is the same engine that is mounted on the new Audi A1
can't you pull the fuse to get rid of the traction control, or adjust it with VCDS/VAGCOM? What is the gps speed when driving 218?
just have to turn on ignition and hazard lights and then press the gas pedal 5 times -> traction controll off
GPS speed is 208

Every car here drives on a ethanol mix bc thats the only gas you can get. Its or 5% or 10% ethanol

The turbocharged direct injected engines in the up's are only availabe with a manual transmission, so you don't really have a choice. The naturally aspirated three cylinders (city engines, basically), come with a single clutch automatic, but it's total garbage...

Stage 2 is 160hp. Stage 3 (with golf 1.4 tsi turbo) is between 185-190HP

Für die 20 k die der up vollausgestattet kostet, Gibt's aber auch noch keinen Fiesta st...
Der geht bei 22 los, dann muss man noch etwas Geld in die Hand nehmen, damit er nützliche Spielereien bekommt.

148bhp is nothing for a 3 pot, just remember the new ST is running 200 stock on 3 cylinders and tuners like pumaspeed are hitting 230 stage 1...

Thats on a stock 1.0 ecoboost, tried and tested for thousands of miles.
If the engine is well built it should be able to hit 150 reliably and around 180 with supporting mods.
