I tried to replace the beadlocks and use scale hardware the the TCRC 2.2 beadlocks and got the first one was a struggle to bolt up, but the other 3 had completely different bolts spacing on the beadlocks rings.

I put together a set of those Camo splash wheels last week, they kinda sucked to assemble, but man they look good. I was shorted 2 screws, but I found a couple that were similar enough. All in all, I really dig these things, just didn’t particularly enjoy the assembly experience.
Do ya reckon da ifs v2 would fit on a scx10 ii chassis..........I'm tempted to get da ifs v2, or should I get da funky looking element dat comes with ifs v2 ????? Or a different element truck n add da ifs v2....?? "I just don't know wot to do"
I don't think the IFS will fit on a 10.2 chassis, but I do think that most all of the 10.2 bits will fit on an Element chassis. The 10.2 front end is like... arched, while the Enduro is... angled? Put in a 3-gear with like a 4000kv in it. THEN HOLD ON
Sorry to tell you this, but even if you delete those 2 suspension links, the steering ones will still be there... Anyway, this guy will be The Missing Link forever I was going to suggest trying more overdrive, but then the high speed would be hurted probably We need to see this guy on Mavericks!
The ability to lock the rear axle so that only the front wheels are driven. This allows for repositioning that would not be possible with all four wheels driven, and can be used to basically turn the rig around without moving.
@@JC-Nor-Cal Very different. Lockers allow you to lock and unlock the differentials, so you can move from an open diff to a spool. Dig locks the entire rear end by stopping the rotation of the rear driveshaft-- like pulling the parking brake, basically.
The chasing of the balls is the insult added to the injury for striking the gate. It's like a training tool. Don't wanna chase the ball? Stop knocking it off, then. 🤣
...sort of. I've done what Element refuses to: IFS2, Stealth XF, trailing arms. No Element offering has that combo. If you put IFS2 on an Ecto, you'd still have a Stealth X in the middle. I guess the closest would be a Utron with trailing arms swapped in, but then you'd have one of the Top 5 ugliest bodies on top of it. Blech.
Hello CC CEO Do you think Silicon inserts will replace 3D Printed inserts in the future? And when do You think the big manufacturers like Proline etc.. will start selling silicone inserts? Crawl On
I don't think so. I can see silicone or other injection-molded inserts making a dent in open-cell foam, but I think the future of inserts is 3D printed, as each insert can be precisely tailored to each tire on each rig. The silicone are great for the budget conscious as they're cheap, have a fairly broad range of fitment, and don't care about weather. But there are currently two different sizes of silicone inserts, and take just for instance the JConcepts Tusk-- that tire alone comes in 7 different sizes.
You're causing me to look longingly at the Zuul and an IFS kit. Damn you!
Oh man! Sweet breakdancing! The headspin really takes me back!
I have never seen a rig more in need of a rear cage. Looks awesome. Great vid.
Beyond very cool!
Why would adding a dig lose the UD/OD?
The UD here is all inside the gearbox, and nobody makes OD/UD gears for Element axles.
I have I have 4 sets of rims like those.I agree.they’re not fun to mount.but I use a long screw to catch easier.
Omg! What a beautiful rig❤❤❤

Not a very good impression though but still!!!

You need to check out the wheels from Meus then Mr C. They have 8 offset settings and have scale hardware
So your talking about concrete, How would these tires do on asphalt uneven type stuff?
I have a set of those wheels with injora pins. Not sure if it's the wheels or tires but they keep popping the beads while wheeling.
Centers and shells first, then screw in the hub and spacer.
Foam stiffness testing idea. Fixed amount of weight, set weight on the foam, measure the amount of movement/deflection?
Good thumbnail :)

Lovely little fellow☺
What's his name🤔
Da way I find droped hardware is wit a magnet on a bamboo stick 😅😂😊
That body looks great on camera … still not a IFS fan you’re going to have to convince me…good looking rig though

Can you define DIG for us newbeez
The ability to lock the rear axle so that only the front wheels are driven. This allows for repositioning that would not be possible with all four wheels driven, and can be used to basically turn the rig around without moving.
Is DIG any different or the same as TRX-4 lockers ?

Gosh I hate that I want those wheels even after seeing how hard they are to assemble 🤦♂️
mount a rope to the ball to the base so you don't have to go chasing the ball
