Alone at Egypt Lake on Canada Day Weekend | Backpacking Banff

I document a trip to Egypt Lake in Banff National Park on June 28-29, 2024. This campground was completely booked just days earlier but we were only 1 of 2 groups who showed up. 13 others cancelled. We'll see who had the better idea.

Next time, make a loop, hiking Monarch Ramparts between Healy Pass and Eohippus Lake, Simpson Pass, trail to Healy Creek. Makes a fine day trip.

Damn I wish I had these conditions when I went exactly a month ago :/
I never made it. It was too difficult, even with snowshoes.
