- Introducing Blue Collar 5 Glass And Windshield Coating! Blue Collar 5 is a Glass Polysilazane Coating for windows and windshields provides superior protection. The coating creates a hydrophobic surface that requires less cleaning and rain will bead right off. Watermarks will be a thing of the past! Also, with it’s anti-static properties, your glass will require much less cleaning. One application will last up to one to two years and where wiper blades are in use, it will reduce the friction resulting in longer use of the blades, before replacement.

Brian, Any benefit to putting a light coating on the wiper itself? Or maybe BC 4 on the wiper? ***Curious?
@@DetailCarProit sure wouldn’t hurt.
24 hrs cure time ?? no shortcut for curing time on this one ? Looks very promising .Awesome, i tried BC- 2-3-4 today.. the ease of use, ..! WOW! insta slick also! ;-)-
@@danmorrissette4814 I am glad you enjoy them!😁👍🏻.
I would give BC5 proper cure to get the best durability out of it.
There’s nothing more bothersome than experiencing coated glass only to have the coating “expire” 1 year later. Picking this up soon!
Thanks Brian
This is something that I really didn't care about too much when I was younger. As I am getting older and so are my eyes, this is very important to me. Getting old sucks! Congrats, Brian, with your continued success.
I hear ya… and time is flying by faster and faster the older we get.
I've always been meticulous about clean windshields so have been anxiously awaiting this. Looks like it's a winner.🏆
That's the coolest thing watching the water sheet off the glass. It's pretty impressive with the car standing still. I bet it's really cool driving down the road. Thanks Brian
Great video, I love applying glass protection. I can’t imagine not driving in inclement weather without any protection, I’ve gotten so used to it
Great new addition to the blue collar lineup 👊🏼
Looks great Brian will definitely try in the future. Always appreciate the content and products.
Looks like a winner winner! 🎉
I've been waiting for this one!! Looks amazing Brian!!
Can't wait to try this one🤘🏻😎🤓
I’ve been most excited for this one!
Outstanding. Cant wait to use it!!
I’m joining the family!! 💪🏻 Shout to Blue Collar for being my first coating ever on any vehicle
Welcome to the Family!!! If you have any questions or concerns....reach out.
Definitely a winning product, il be ordering this!! 👍🇨🇦
Can't wait to add this to the arsenal! Love the BC lineup.
I look forward to the feedback!
Brian , another success in the making. The true test for those of us in snow country will be how the product fares in winter conditions including scraping the ice and snow off in the morning.
Absolutely!!💪🏻😁
Just got my box from y’all with all the BC products. I’m AMAZED at how they look ! Ease of installation was great, and they work well together. Thanks Brian, I’ll be buying more as needed, I’m definitely a fan of the BC product line !!!
I truly appreciate the feedback. If you ever have any questions… reach out email, text, call. 😁👍🏻
Bosch my favorite wiper blade
Really like glass coatings on windows of my cars. Will definitely be trying this
Congrats on new product release brother.lookn fwd 2 tryn out.
Just ordered mine...looking forward to trying it out
And I look forward to your feedback!😁👍🏻
Great video
I'll be getting some of that!
I just finished coating my BMW-R9T Bike (Aluminum Tank) with your BC-1, it is the absolute most slickest surface coating I've ever felt, the micro-fibers just glide off, Amazing..👍
I want to give this glass coating a try as well 💦
Another awesome video and product review good friend
Thank you!
Can we get an action shot from in the car during rain? I'd love to see at what speed the water starts to move off the windshield. Great looking product either way. You're the man!
I plan on it….absolutely.
Nice!!
I like this going to have to get some :)
Ordered!
I haven’t tried I will need to get some! ❤
Damn b. This product looks amazing. I hope you get rich with this one bc its special!
Wiper chatter was the only reason I gave up with this type of product. Treated windscreen are massively safer in heavy rain. I'll be picking some of this up for sure as a no chatter product is what I've been looking for. I just need to wait a little longer ... till it crosses the Atlantic!
In2 detailing is our distribution in the UK. Email them to get on the ball and order some.
Buff to Perfection.
Yes!!!😁👍🏻
Nice
I forgot how terrible uncoated glass is until I had my windshield changed and it was sketchy in the rain it’s like the water was like glue and even after I parked and it dried the glass where the wipers stop was vary dirty. I’ve only ever used GPs kit and Kamalazi intenso and GPs kit has lasted more than 3 years and only using to maintenance wipes every 8 months or so both are a breeze to install. I will definitely need to try some more of your products as I use up my supply.
Brian, another great video. Question. During application should you apply the product on the windshield wiper insert blades? Thanks, Paul.
Congratulations on the BC5 launch! Can this also be use on headlights? Or not advisable?
Ceriglass and a rayon glass pad would also be an acceptable prep step? I know you can't guarantee any durability under the wipers but best guess how will it hold up under wipers? Also how will it hold up against winter de-icing chlorides? I'd love to keep the rear glass clear on my winter driver, seems to quit shedding water and start collecting grimy film no matter what I've put on it but I haven't tried a dedicated glass only product just yet.
I'm curious how it will do after a few washes.
I live in south Florida and bugs are a constant battle. How well does this hold up to weekly/biweekly cleaning with a windshield such as invisible glass? PS love your demonstrations and passion of the products you test.
Excellent!! A rinseless Wash is perfect for that task.
Hey Brian keep up the awesome work.
What does you/everyone recommend for all plastic and door rubber/sunroof seals?
I have a video on n that. It is a TacSystem product I believe.
Excellent looking product! If the front windshield begins to wear away can one clean and reapply or does the whole windshield need to be polished and prepped all over again? Thank you for another great product!
Just clean and add another layer if desired.
@@apexdetail85 thank you as I am thinking of offering this as a one year protection.
Hi Brian, just bought a bottle . Is the levelling step done as soon as the rainbowing occurs? Thanks mate
I need a pressure washer just to start off u have some recommendations for a beginner?
Hi Brian. Thank you for the video. How can you compare it with GlassParency? TY
GP has more steps and is more work. That is why I formulated this.😁👍🏻
What’s the shelf life once opened?
Mine should be arriving this week , can’t wait to give it a try. I also have BC4 I’ll use it to top it with. How long until I can top it with BC4 ?
Also quick question Brian I’m regards to prep can I use the glaco compound roll on after the clay process ? I still have this left from when I used it on the wife’s vehicle . But I’m going to put BC5 on mine . Thanks
After 24 hr… you can then begin to top it.
Sure … use the glaco
Just applied as per this video's instructions. Product came with no paperwork, no instructions, no applicator. I think they could do better.
So when are you bringing out you own line of cleaners? 😂 you’re doing it backwards to most RUclips detailers. Looking forward to trying this. What do you think of Carpro window polish pads?
I am sticking to coatings and sealants. They are my specialty.
I've been considering silicone wiper blades for my Accord; methinks they would play nicely with such a coating...?
Possibly!😁👍🏻
I have bc 2 and 3, will 4 and 5 come to the uk
Email in2detailing to order them… they are slacking.
Anybody have ratios for a suitable IPA/water solution?
Brian, could this also be applied to the wiper blades like I've seen with some other ceramic coatings? I've been waiting for a glass product that provides this type of water behavior and I've ordered it before you ran out of stock.
BC4 would be worth a try on the wipers.
If it's like the rest of BC PRODUCT LINE you have another homerun
For the demo you only did the windshield but for your clients do you do all exterior glass? Also what price range is normal to charge for that service ?
We do, yes. All windows for an extra $250 on top of their package. We use the service as an upsell.
Looks awesome Brian!! Can’t wait for Carzilla to get it in stock!! Thank you so much for your great videos and products!!
Some on the way as we speak!
heck yes carzilla, love those cats
Can you double up on the coating
Two layers at most. 👍🏻
I have been using Aquapel for years but now I have trouble finding it. The knockoff version is being sold for cheap but it is not as good. How do you compare this product with the original Aquapel?
BC5 should easily outlast Aquapel in real world conditions. 💪🏻
can you use this on all car windows?? Tinted side windows?
All glass, Plexiglass, Carbon Fiber
Brian when is it Available in the uk ? In2detailing ?
Yes….email them to get some ordered.
@@apexdetail85 thanks Brian
Please tell us you're working on something for interior windows especially fogging etc inside windshields. I know you hate glass as much as the rest of us
BC4 can be used for that. 👍🏻
@Apex Detail good to know thanks. Approximate durability on that?
Nice what soap and applicator are you using?
ApexAuto Wash. any applicator would work. It’s a microsuede applicator.
@@apexdetail85 tahnks
did you stop the pro coatings
My coatings are suitable for DIY as well as professionals …either way, you get Pro results.
Is it Anti-glare coating? and are you going to produce a wheel coating?
It helps with glare at night time I have noticed. Absolutely…. More coatings to come.
What are those blue applicator pads?
Found them here….. www.phoenixeod.com/product/microfiber-suede-ceramic-block-applicator/
Thanks Brian.
I’m about to pull the trigger on your bc 1. Why bc 1 over something like mckee’s 3-5 year ceramic coating?
What shampoo did you use to clean the window with
It was Adams Strip wash
@apexdetail85 thank you so much!!! 🙂👍
I’d like to purchase your Blue Collar 3 product but the shipping is almost as much as the product. Are there any other purchase outlets?
What is your general location?
@@apexdetail85 Southern Indiana, Evansville
Unfortunately, we still go thru car washes, albeit the better ones with the foam brushes etc. They offer sealants, some ceramic, and of course Rain X. I'm assuming that will do two things? Wear off the coating, and mask it with their toppers? Would it be advantageous to clean it with your topper afterwards? Or would that start adding to many layers simply polluting the system?
Good question too bad you got no answer. Because of your question I decided not to buy this product. Don't need stacking of products on my windshield to cause visibility problems. Require spillover from spray products from the roof of the car will help keep water beading without screwing up the windshield..
Soon the way home a dump truck flings a stone and chips the windshield!
How will it react to a Drying Aid on top of the sealant?
Trial and error depending on the drying aid.
First!!
