- Ryan Gibb is passionate about the outdoors, and always had a need for speed. When he broke his back in a motorbike accident, it left him paraplegic. Now a wheelchair user, Ryan has had a huge life change. Determined to live it to the full though, Ryan and his mates have found ways to adapt a quad bike so he can still hunt - and he’s not stopping there. He has also trained to become a Personal Trainer, and he’s about to get married.

The guy who saved him is a true hero. His empathy and diligence is amazing. Despite his own disability, he went out of his way to help others. Amazing!
I must admit, that part had me in tears! Empathy is the right word! It broke my heart to hear him describe the emotional/ mental toll his injury would have on this young man of only 18, at the time of the accident!
What a courageous young man whose sheer determination and courage has enabled him to overcome adversity in life. He’s gotten on with life and has gone far and will only continue to crush goals as an amazing PT and mentor and role model!!
A special mention to the man who saved Ryan.His empathy and understanding is amazing. Another hero.

I would like him to know he also helps people like me. There I was, 75yrs, sitting in a depression. It has gone. If such a disabled person can be so kind, so loving, so strong then a person like me needs to see that life still holds so much goodness and to get moving. Thank you so much. X

I'm amazed at the available adaptive activities there are for the disabled. All it takes is to ask, and people with disabling injuries, can water ski, snow ski, ride a wave runner, run marathons, climb mountains, swim, ski dive, etc. Just about anything they did before, and even more activities, are there for the asking! The active disabled community is so large and inviting, just one text or call could get things moving towards the next adventure, for those with the attitude to want to live a full and rewarding life, despite their injury!

Just wanted to say I absolutely love this video from beginning to end I can fully appreciate it all. You got a beautiful bride-to-be on your arm and you're handsome and you're smart and she's intelligent your family's loving what else could you ask for. I'm a incomplete spinal cord injury and I use a wheelchair in the Walker at times. So I greatly appreciate your strength.. It's been 16 years for me. So never give up you got the power you got the power you got the power! Only the best for a beautiful future .

I am C7 complete at the moment.. I had my accident 7 months ago.. the fact that I am complete seeing his story worries me that I will never get my legs again but I think God is trying to tell me to pray for him for him to help me and leave me to where he wants me to go with or without legs with my but it's just hard.. **** from my past even before my legs still bugs me
