Ariana take care of yourself too. I was a caregiver for my mother and I understand how you feel. You must take time for yourself and restore your body so you can continue to be there for Ephraim. Prayers for both of you.

Serious serious blessing to his wife for sticking by his side & taking care of him. & bless him for seeming to have a positive attitude & getting right back out there to work & getting on with life even though hes got those obstacles that try to block his way. Both amazing people, good on them. I really hope it all works out for you 2 & you're able to stay happy & keep your love strong through all the struggles. Sending Good vibes to you

Oh man i really feel for his wife and all her emotions that she goes through everyday. its a rollercoaster and buffet of emotions - happiness, pride, loneliness, guilt, love, anger, bitterness, joy. thats the kind of stuff we don't see - good day or bad. They're both equally inspiring!!

This was probably filmed a while ago so I wonder how they are doing now. They are both amazing people, but I really felt for her when she was speaking. 99% of the time, we congratulate the person who has become disabled for how far they've come, forgetting all the people who have played a part but especially their primary carers. On another note, I think it's really great when people look into fostering and adoption which may be cheaper than ivf. Finally, I hope she gets to see her family more often and makes more close friends where they live, and that she gets some breaks eg carer respite. I also hope people give her more respect and she doesn't have to feel like she has to become a martyr. It's okay to acknowledge you need a break and you have needs. It doesn't mean you love him any less. Also they've been through trauma and they obviously will be dealing with the after effects for a long time to come, therapy would be a good thing to do both individual and joint sessions. You don't have to be really unhappy to go, rather I think it stops you becoming unhappy (but theyre probably already doing this). Ps watching the video and it not being a reenactment was unsettling. It must be so hard to have that to watch and think what ifs over. Everyone needs to forgive themselves.

I’m so blessed that my husband and I stayed together after I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 17 years ago. I hope that this beautiful couple will continue to grow and find their way together. It might be helpful to encourage Ari to spend time with friends or hobby away from her husband. Always remind one another how much you love snd appreciate them. It’s easy to begin to feel taken for granted and exhausted from the daily challenges that we face.

When he said he had been married 6 months when the trauma occurred my heart dropped. Being married young can be a real challenge since you are committed to someone else before you really even know who YOU are. Major changes are happening - your brain isnt even fully mature until you are 26.
To add an incident like this, Wow! My hat is off to both of you, but utmost respect to Ariana. Being a carer is a Very Difficult job. I know a little of just How Much Harder when that person is your spouse. I pray that both have realized how vital it is for Ariana to have time to herself Every Day, even if it is just 30 minutes to go for a walk, and that they are making sure she gets it. It is equally necessary to have outside interests of her own, be that photography, taking Italian cooking classes or joining a book club. It would/will allow her to come back refreshed. Much live my dear - and dont forget there is support there for you as well. It is Not all about him.

i dont know how to put this in a good way but i am going to try: he said somthing about "all of a sudden i had my accident" like it was not his fault. well he made a choise to jump of a freaking waterfall.
It felt werid in a way cuz there was not one time that they kissed or held hands, I am speaking up beacuse i myself am in a wheelchair and i have been all my life, my husband of 2 years has been with me for almost 6 years and he said whilst watching this that" ppl make it out to be so hard helping someone you love i get it it is hard but i mean i choose to take care of you beacuse i love you with all my heart its almost an honor for me and some ppl seem to forget the love"
he also went on to say "them 2 seem to have forgotten the wife and husband relationship if so YES THAN IT IS VERY VERY VERY HARD, + she says she is happy but her face, her face says something diffrent"

He does seem really selfish ,which annoys me to no end . It was his stupid decision to jump from the freakin rock ,so he needs to take full responsibility over his life now cuz Ari has her own goals and dreams too .She is a really beautiful soul and she deservs only the best . This doesn't mean they shouldn't try to help each other and push each other as much as possible ,but he must sacrifice a lot more for her too .

Hey i understand that life becomes more difficult and sometimes its that hard that it makes you angry. But togheter you are doing fine. And the feelings of anger and sadness will be there sometimes. I get that people think youre a inspiration and you feel it maybe not the same. But i think that when you love someone that its normal you stand by youre partner and help them. And i know that can be hard and difficult sometimes. You seems a very nice couple. And i hope for you that you someday maybe be able to walk again. And if its not in the cards for you that you will be happy again with each other and possible youre future kids. Nothing is impossible and you will be work it out toghetter so have fun and try to be happy. You guys deserve it. Love sabrina

People who are saying he should cook for himself and fold the laundry lost the part that he is still at the beginning of his rehab after the injury when this was filmed - 1 year. He is using his upper body to do what able bodied people do with their legs and that takes a toll, takes getting used to, and doesnt leave much for folding laundry.
Its the little muscles that are at issue with me, a high functioning partial quad. Folding a load of laundry, or washing a load of dishe in addition to 15 to 20 transfers per day can and does cause injury. This means we cannot do anything on our own. So yes in the beginning those simple household chores get done by someone else while you get to the point you can use the toilet and dress yourself independently. Then you start working on doing chores independently. Note he is helping with the cooking.
Im 24 years from my accident and dishes still are not something i can do independently but i can cook by myself and usually do my own laundry. Still folding it is hard and frustrating.
Just because you see a task as easy, doesnt actually mean it is for everyone at all times in all situations.

It seems that she thinks that she made a mistake, she is with him because she feels it is her responsibility as a wife but the love changed since the accident, she needs to admit that she does not want to be with him anymore .. she is not happy, sacrifice for someone because you have feelings of guilt is a mistake, That is my impression when I see it 😢

Because of being young! The brain doesnt finish maturing until age 26! Most people feel like they are "Bulletproof" - ie It Cant Happen to Me! Teens/YA even more so - they dont even see/feel/know that Bullets even exist!!!
