This video is not intended for children under the age of 14. Quite frankly, kids...I'm just some random old dude talking about nostalgic TV and movie stuff from a really long time ago and I highly doubt that it is going to interest you.

Escape from New York is almost a documentary.
Loved her in The Fog. She did an awesome job in a role on Criminal Minds. I just finished watching Maude!!😂
She's aged well. Thank you Dave. 😊
Was, still is and always will be drop dead gorgeous.
She is a beauty but I always thought she looked angry 😂
Me too.
This is amazing thank you. My sister was an extra in Escape to New York Adriana, my sister said, she was so nice and amazing. Thanks 😊
She is an amazing actress my favorite was Creep Show and the Fog.
So cool!
I like The Fog and then Escape From New York best, myself. I see she has something coming out called The Pitchfork Retreat that features other horror luminaries like Tony Todd, Danielle Harris, Andrew Divoff and Dee Wallace. She is also doing the voice of Sally Jupiter in the animated movie The Watchmen: Chapter 1 coming out next month as a digital release.
Adrienne is quite the accomplished voice actor. I can't wait to hear her work in the animated Watchmen movie.
I have enjoyed all those films at the theater, but "Escape From New York" I was the 2nd person in line to buy a ticket & see it opening day & absolutely loved it! I went back 4 more times with my dad & friends to watch it on the big screen & Adrienne was definitely a major highlight of it!
Thanks for sharing!
I read her biography a few years ago. It was really good.
She really bragged about Beatrice Arthur. She said she was very professional.
She also mentioned that Conrad Bain also had a twin brother named Bonar. She had talked to him about raising twin boys.
Bonar? Oh my goodness!
Adrienne also starred as Judy Garland in a two character play written by her husband. It's about Judy in her last days and her reluctance to go onstage. Wish I'd seen it!
Me too!
I really enjoy this RUclips channel!
For my money, one of her best roles was as Ruthie in HBO's "Carnivàle".
She was on a great HBO show called "Carnivale".
I loved her in the Fog. Another great video Dave. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
I've always liked her work. My favorites would have to be Cannonball Run and Escape From NY.
One of my childhood crushes. I first saw her on Maude.
I had no idea she was in the most recent adaptation of Swamp Thing I remember the movie its lackluster sequel and the very campy 90s adaptation which had lots of future stars showing up before they were famous like Kari Whurer.
Adrienne grabbed my attention as a kid due to the way she was bar-built. 😂.
Greetings from South Carolina 🎉
She really was a lot more versatile than she has been given credit for, and never quite had that breakout role she deserved. Largely in the background on Maude, and mostly a supporting character in her film work, she had an energy that wasn't allowed to be utilized to its fullest IMO. Regardless, she's a giant in the history of pop culture and seems to have a great sense of humor and attitude about her career.
Thanks for sharing!
My favorite Adrienne Barbeau film? The Fog. Second favorite? Swamp Thing.
I remember watching her in an episode of the live action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop on Netflix and years before that on HBO, Carnivale.
I'm not big on horror, but now i want to see all of her movies.
Please, someone, stream that live one-woman show.
I remember best for swamp thing Dave love that movie it's a classic man Thanks for sharing great video 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Always enjoy them buddy
I loved watching them both.
She was very lovely, one of my early crushes. I've read she was nice.
She’s a beautiful woman. Thanks for the video. This channel is so good.
Wow, thank you!
Was I the only one who had a huge crush on her when she was on Maude?
Nope.
I liked "The FOG" but it had to longest opening credit sequence in movie history, going 20 minutes I think.
Her role on SOA was so disturbing and she did it so well!
Creepshow: "Tell it to call you 'Billie."
Believe it or not, Dave, I always remember her most as Maude's daughter. Also, one time a writer for tv guide was wondering why she doesn't wear a bra. She responded the next week, telling the writer it's none of his business what she wears. In that article he also wondered why Carroll O'Connor wears two gold rings on his middle fingers, why Mary Tyler Moores theme song glorifies her. and why Carol Burnett tugs on her ear at the end of her show
Knowing a bit about you, Jerry, I believe it. 🙂
@jdsundstrom I remember that article as though it were yesterday, Dave. In fact, the writer also had cartoon figures of the TV stars he was talking about, all except Adrienne Barbeau. Also, Chad Everett of Medical Center was in the article. The writer didn't like his hair.
I thought that picture of John Carpenter, was Sonny Bono....lol
Scooby Doo On Zombie Island, she voiced Simone
I mostly remember her from Maude 😂 Always liked her.
Dave! Your omission of the HBO series Carnivale is glaring. It's one of Adrienne's best performances! Do yourself a favour and check it out.
I'll definitely check it out. 🙂
To me it's simple. She had two babies in her fifties twins. She spend time with them to see them develop and grow. Some people will come of with many reasons. I feel that she feels it's necessary for the development of our children.
Exactly!
Great video but actually Barbeau's collaborations with John Carpenter began a little earlier than The Fog. She was in his 1978 TV movie called Someone's Watching Me.
Thanks for pointing that out, Kevin. I didn't should have known that...but, did not. 🙂
I didn’t watch the fog or swampthing in the theaters but I remember watching them in the late 90’s good movies back when horror was cool to watch without all this cgi stuff now. The best part the 1982 swampthing movie was her nude scene lol 😂
You forgot a movie Dave, she was in a horror comedy titled "Saturday The 14th!" A sort of parody of the first two Friday the 13th movies.
I don't think she was in that one.
@@jdsundstrom my bad, i thought she was, as i remember a trailer for it, and thought i saw her in it. 🤷
Dave you left out her early career before Maude. Her "skin-flick" start. The pics are on the web. I know several fans bring those pics for her to sign at shows. She has no problem with it either. She usually just grins and says "We all have to start somewhere."
The omission was purposeful. 🙂
@@jdsundstrom Totally understand.
She was great in The Fog
I never liked the show Maude. But I watched it just to see a few moments of Adrienne.
Sounds like you were on a mission-like a treasure hunter seeking the rare Adrienne gems in a sea of Maude!
I don’t know if he bought it out she also starred in that tv show called carnival which was she played a person in a traveling carnival
Tell ‘em your name is Billie😄
Barbeau was flat-out sexy. Yes, her face was cute, and that bod was to die for. But what made it for me was the way she carried herself. She smoldered.
Love Adrienne.
Or bring it to NYC Adrienne
Great bio on a classic scream queen, but just a quick quibble on “Back to School.” Dangerfield didn’t play a “lovable sad sack who gets no respect” in this one. He played a successful, confident businessman whose son is a sad sack college kid. Dangerfield decides to enroll in college with his son, and hijinks ensue. Dangerfield does retain his usual bluster, a la “Caddyshack,” but he’s the life of the party wherever he goes in this classic, with only one character disrespecting him in the film, a snooty professor.
You're right...but, in my mind, Rodney will always be a loveable sad sack who doesn't get any respect. ruclips.net/video/d_BPzFytKBs/видео.htmlsi=EosDizyzzOjdQ2eS
The scene with Sam Kinison, (the history teacher), was hilarious. 😁
Hello Dave
😆 What was the truth about Adrienne that she wore a padded bra. 😆.....I don't think movies did her any justice but television did. 🙂I remember watching her on Battle of the Network Stars. She wasn't much of an athlete but nobody cared. 😆
The thumbnail had taken some liberties.
Both pictures are actually accurate...but, I agree, the body shot might be a bit much. I'll probably change it before this video is published for everyone. Thanks for the feedback, Zoper!
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine! How did that one get past you, Élder?
You're right! How did I miss that one?!!? Good to see a familiar name. Hope all is well, my friend. 🙂
Keep the good stuff coming
👍👍👍📺
Love that lovely lady.
32 days of February?
My first exposure (and only for quite some time) was creepshow.... and I saw it at like age 10 so she gave me the hebegebe's plus she always looked super angry... not my cup of tea.
lol "less beautiful" director
Dave, Adrienne Barbeau was also in Swamp Thing and Creep Show. 🤗🧟🎥🪦
You're right!
