hi rich, i need some help! i was thinking of getting one of those, i like led Zeppelin, black sabb, deep purple, 70's rock you know. i have a Vox AC30 and the cab with green backs(the same that comes with the la30bl cab right?), a Supro Black Magic. is it going to sound different? am i throwing money away? or can i get the same sound with what i have right now? can you give an opinion since you have one? Yes you can i think you can daisy chain the Supro and the AC30 and really get something 🤔. I have an ac30 and have been getting some really good breakup lately tho it took a while of playing and finding my settings. Its not the gear that makes you great tho .Have you heard of the guy who sold his soul to play guitar? He still has to go to the devil 🤘 on Tuesday and Thursday for lessons 😒. Anyway good luck.
I have the la30bl with the la212 cab, and it’s the best amp I’ve ever owned! Never tried an ac30 but I’m quite sure this is a totally different beast. The cab sounds super massive, it’s not just a standard 2x12 cab since it’s oversized. I love this amp because it’s so “boutique” and row and old school at the same time. The clean up is far beyond excellent, also. In a nutshell, it’s not the most versatile amp ever made, but it does what it does in an astonishing way. It has its own voice and personality if you now what I mean. The price is also ridiculously affordable! Just one thing to keep in mind: buy a good attenuator. I use a tone king Ironman II mini, and it’s essential even at rehearsal level. Otherwise you will blow your band mates away!

Did any of the sound good to anyone? That sounded just like everything I want to stay as far away from as possible when choosing an amplifier. that sounded like a $2 bargain-basement amp that had been thrown down the stairs before it got bought
This is a real amp designed to sound as the original ones back in the 60ies. These are based on the Fender Bassman. And that means real power amp kinda fuzz distortion without a master volume - not creamy at all but awesome.
This was not a good demo nothing against the player .Check out Laneys demo or the one from Chappers and the Captain. This amp sounds great 👍 check out a different demo and do your self a favor. The new Laney amps are top notch.
This amp is a masterpiece. If you have a different taste that’s totally fine, but it’s actually a top quality amp that inspires me every single day I play it.

Turn the bass all the way off and try that again.
When in the room its is hard too not turn the bass knob up... 100 watts I would not do bass tho... 30 watts it ain't loud anyway.... lol.
Carmen Miller I own this amp.. and I gig with this amp. I run it with the bass on zero. There is still plenty of low end.

Carmen Miller G12H what? Greenbacks, V30, Redbacks, Creambacks... there are several G12H speakers.
