Great review, Jeff. I have the same unit, but for the Auto Climate Control version, so the faceplate is longer and the AC "box" has to be switched over (a bit more complicated, as two knobs have to be removed prior to re-installing them after moving the AC box over to the new faceplate. I'm also very happy with the unit, although I've had a couple glitches. My factory tailgate camera had very poor resolution after connecting it to the RCA jack on the Junsun head unit. The display image had flickering lines and the video would lag and "freeze" while backing up. I added a five dollar rectifier/filter that Junsun recommended and it made the image a bit better, but still had the lag and momentary freezing. They sent me an aftermarket backup camera that I installed on a license plate bracket and I ran the cable up along the factory harness along the frame rail on the driver side and up through the plastic "pop up" port under the driver's seat, then under the carpet and over to the back of the head unit. I had to connect the small red wire on the camera's cable end to the brown wire from the Junsun harness (pin 3 on the harness that plugs into the Junsun head unit) as per the instructions and now I have a high-resolution 1080p backup camera image. The only other issue is that my unit won't display the temperature when I am in the "Air Settings" page. It says only "low" or "high." Junsun says it's a bug that they are working to fix. The controls all work properly....if I hit the "up" or "down" temperature buttons the air temperature will change accordingly, but I can't see what temperature it's actually set to. The on-screen heated seats and steering wheel controls all work as well...just no temperature display. I'm hoping they can figure that out soon. My truck is a 2018 Ram 1500 Big Horn with automatic climate control. One more thing I wanted to point out....Junsun includes two USB cables, as you illustrated. One is a 4-pin white connector and the other is a 6-pin white connector. From what I've read, the 6-pin cable will allow you to connect (wired) for Android Auto or CarPlay where the 4-pin will not. I chose to use the 6-pin cable and drilled a hole in the little "cubby" compartment to right, below the radio, and ran the USB connector out into the cubby in case I want to connect wired. (I pretty much always just connect wirelessly and use a magnetic fast charger clipped on the vent.) I did connect the short USB connector wire that has a 4-pin white connector on one end and a "micro USB" connector on the other. This connects to one of the original cables that came off the UConnect stock radio, and it has a matching micro USB connector on it. This indeed allows me to use the USB connections under the armrest console. Great review! If anybody here has any fix for the temperature display, please leave info in a comment! I'll try to come back and update if they find me a fix for this. I have updated the CANBUS firmware twice in the past couple weeks, whenever an update is available, and it hasn't solved that issue as of yet.
Cant get my steering wheel controls to work. Is there anything i should know or try? Is there a certain car type im supposed to use? I tried to find my truck but its not in the system. 2014 ram 1500 bighorn
I know the Jeep is the right setting. It’s the same canbus system and radios the Jeeps have apparently. There’s a HUGE menu in there where you can control each individual item, but since I don’t have the controls, I can’t test it.

Any Remedy for a Muffled sound from all media including the Radio?
There an amplifier volume setting buried in the menus. Check if that’s set low.

Can you still use factory hands free ?
I don’t actually know as I didn’t use it to begin with.
