    Any suspension lift and all terrain tires?

    • @jeffwagg
      @jeffwagg 17 дней назад

      Hard to find AT tires because of the unusual wheel size. Some folks have done it though, sometimes by fitting different wheels (maybe Volvo). As for a lift, being front wheel drive it has that bar between the back wheels that you can’t really raise. 6” of clearance allowed me to go way off road though. I went to paces like Lunar Lake and Aurora, NV with no trouble at all.

      I liked the Infinite Veranda better. It's different, and I don't like that it shuts off the AC when it's open OR that the captain can close it during inclement weather, but it does add a whole other space to the cabin, which is great on cold or very hot days.

    I am in Edmonton Alberta in Canada which is about 300 ish miles north on Montana. I have separate tires for winter is a great investment as some years we can have snow 6+ months in a year and the ability to stop and drive and accelerate is so much better with them. They do wear faster when it warms up so we try to swap to the "summer" or so call all seasons as soon as we hit mid May which may mean no snow :) Dave

    Soon, I will need a laptop that can handle 4K video editing. On a boat there is nearly unlimited power available, though. We'll have 800Ah at 24V of house battery and a generator. Regardless of how much power I have available, I definitely don't want to deal with the size of a desktop. A good question. I’ve not heard of them having problems at high mileage, but I had 155K when I sold it. Since then, I’ve driven another 50 which would be 205K. I think what really drove me to sell it was wanting a bit more space. After two weeks, I found it a bit cramped.

    My rule of thumbs with this unit has been to count on 10 minutes of max runtime every hour. That covers my typical usage (items already cooled, inside of a hot car, small additional 12v fan to blow hot air away from the vent.) With max being a 60Wh draw, that means I'm pulling 10Wh an hour or 240Wh a day from my 1800Wh battery unit. I generate ~500Wh a day from my solar panels (200w) so that leaves me roughly 360Wh a day without going into a power deficit. With my laptop running ~10 hours a day (I write), my hotpot running 2 hours a day, and the additional electronics I use, I have enough power to run normally for about 6 days before I need to recharge the unit from my car. How much electricity does IKEA microwave uses when the microwave its self is on standby mode ?, I heard that the IKEA one use too much power even the microwave its self does not do anything and the microwave light is turned off

      It uses no power when not actively being used. In my case, I also turn off the inverter when I’m not using it.

      @@jeffwaggokay, thanks for the info. I heard that the IKEA microwave draws 1000+ watt hen its being used especially if the microwave is set to maximum, based on specs sheet if I'm not wrong, the microwave its self will draw at about 1500w.

    The mileage you report for your truck is way higher than the EPA numbers.
