As a fan of Darian/BFM content, I will say that this is a crossover/hiring I didn't expect to happen but glad it did. Hopefully Darian gets more chances to showcase his regular sports knowledge while balancing his NASCAR content on his channel. Good luck, y'all
It's pretty simple, they went all in for that one season and they were willing to deal with the drawbacks afterwards, and this is the result. No salary, no draft picks, no superstars (aside from Cupp and Donald). They got there ring and now they rebuild
Been a subscriber to BFM a.ka. Darian for almost 2 years and stark raving sports for about a year. Thought it was cool Darian was going to do vids on SRS I mean I was already subbed to both so it was cool to me and I hope the best for you!
I don't think you'd find an organization in professional sports that wouldn't take 3 years of losing after winning it all. The real story would be if they didn't win and had given up so much to get there. There's also a reason key contributors to success in those years get massive deals. It really is the only way to properly compensate them for their contributions.
It really is interesting seeing one of my favorite NASCAR RUclipsrs cover NFL and I'd love to see BFM cover MLB, NBA & NHL as well PS: 1:56 was Priceless
I Was Not Happy When The Rams Won The Super Bowl. Thankfully In 2022 The Rams Were Officially Liminated The Rams Fans Can Stay Mad All Day 😂 In 2023. Rams With Stetson Bennett Commin In.
I had this on in a different tab for like 30 seconds and SRS just started rattling off names and every single one of them sounds made-up. They're either kind of off the wall or generic names. Football players really did get named like that Key and Peele bit.
The rhetoric that they went all in for one season is completely untrue. Under McVay, they went 11-5, 13-3, 9-7, & 10-6 the four seasons prior to 2021 (including a Super Bowl appearance), so realistically the team had a 6-year window for competing (2017 to 2022), so I think two Super Bowl appearances and one win is pretty good in non-Patriots terms in the salary cap NFL. Long-time fans also know how bad the franchise was for 15+ post prime GSOT days, so McVay’s tenure, regardless of what happened in 2022 (and what will probably happen in 2023), has been an absolute success.
They mortgaged their entire future for short term glory and succeeded. Lucked out facing 10 win teams in the conference championship and Super Bowl in narrow defeats, brought a Super Bowl to LA which has huge financial implications if that gigantic metropolitan area can embrace the Rams and are paying an inevitable price. Is there a single Rams fan complaining? Only 13 organizations have won a Super Bowl since 1996.
Nothing went wrong. That was the strategy the whole time. Sell the future to win now. They did it. They got their rings. Now they have to rebuild. 🤷♂️
This is weird......I have no recollection of the Rams even GETTING to the SB in 2022. I am now that detached from the NFL. I remember Franco Harris....I remember Johnny Unitas....I like Tom Brady, but I guess I could not care less about NFL football anymore.
Disagree this is the worst Super Bowl fall off. The 1998 falcons may not have won the big dance, but the year they had was incredible. They had a better reccord than the rams did the year they won with Matthew Stafford. And any football analysis and fan would THINK the falcons would be back to the Super Bowl.however, the falcons went 5-12 and then 4-11. It was like Jon bois said “they went back to where they were most conformable.” It gets even worse when you consider the first two years before the falcons made their run, they were a bad football team, failing to win 8 wins. The falcons have the worst winning percentage for any team two years before and after their Super Bowl appearance which no other team has.,
Yeah but the Falcons weren’t the Defending SB Champs that year. The Broncos were. Ironically the Broncos were the worst defending SB champs until the Rams broke that record.
Hope y'all enjoyed Darian's debut with us! Can't wait to have more of his brand of content go hand in hand with our own!
Just don't let him ask any questions, he tends to be inappropriate😂😂😂blame slap!

This is a crossover I really love. Darian, known for NASCAR content, making football videos for SRS.
we really love it too :)
Good Luck Darian! Surely this will be great like your BFM content

This is one of the cheeriest sounding videos about a team imploding I've ever watched lol

This threw me off once I heard his voice😂
As soon as I heard his voice, my brain went full blue screen

Darian? What are you doing here?😂 love it!
Asking that too lmao.
Can’t wait for the next one!
I'm just glad my Rams won it all. We have that SB ring and that's what matters.
as a Lions thank you for the draft picks
Dont worry because STETSON “THE GOAT” BENNETT will save the rams!
I love Darian and I think this is awesome

Florida Marlins Championship fire sale syndrome

GOOD JOB DARIAN GOOD JOB
Rams did not even need to cut everyone they could have ran it back this year
They got the ring. It doesn't matter if they never win another game. They got the ring.
So if they don’t win in the next 50 years, it still doesn’t matter? 😂
I bet Broncos fans feel the same way.
More NFL Content

Im Happy That The Rams Were Officially Liminated 😂
Eliminated* And I’m sure they’re just fine with being the most recent NFC team to hold the Lombardi..
