A better example might be to compare Tucker to a close like Mariano Rivera historically vs the rest of closers, but like.. overall the point makes sense.
I was thinking this watching the video. When JT comes in at the end of the game, you don't question it. I have actually turned off the tv because I knew we won sometimes. Mo had this effect in his time in NY. As an Os fan I can tell you when Mo came in the game was over. No question.
@@baball5770 Yes I do. I really hate it when ppl on the internet try to tell me what I do and do not do. If its a 30-yd fg at the end of the game and I have other things I need to do I have and will turn it off.
You missed the fact that until the 67 yarder, JT was perfect in the 4th quarter and overtime, and from 60+. The man is the GOAT. And anyone who trys to come at this with Vinatieri can suck it. JT has won the big games. In 2012, his rookie year, he won the AFC DS (we did need the mile high miracle to get to ot) in ot, and he had the game winning kick in the Super Bowl in the 4th. (not last second, but it won the game) . JT will be a Raven until he retires, and then he will get a statue and go to the Hall of Fame. No question. Only question is where to put the statue. The best option I saw was "Well, not just outside the stadium: four thousand three hundred and seventy five yards outside the stadium, directly lined up with the field. We stand him down by Fort McHenry, facing the stadium, like he's lining up for a kick. Now, you're smirking a little. "How cheeky! How bold!" But none of you are thinking that he can't make it." got from Reddit u/Jurph
Well you’d be right if i didnt find out this year how much better Robbie Gould is in the playoffs which is the most important time. Oh and btw his season numbers are phenomenal to. But in the playoffs Gould is now 29 of 29 on kicks and 37 of 37 on extra points. Tucker is 15 of 19 on kicks in the playoffs which btw isnt a good statistic. It’s like 78 percent
@@Tampafan33That’s hilarious!!! Robbie couldn’t hit over 58 yards and only had one other season with a 57 yard field goal. Robbie had a 86.5% Field goal percentage. Tucker has a 90.2 Robbie was an amazing kicker but anyone with a brain is taking JT. You have almost a first down more range with JT…… that’s massive.
Justin Tucker is the greatest player of all time, WITHOUT TAKING IN POSITIONAL VALUE. He is the best player of all time at just, executing. Doing his job and being the best at it.
As a Detroit fan I thought that 66 yarder was going to be left out of the video when I was about 3/4 the way through...little did I know that it was going to be at the very end😔
Before you mentioned Degrom, my first thought was, it's gotta be Mariano. Especially when you think of making the game easier for those around you at the end of the game.
In the last two minutes of a half or overtime in his career (including the postseason), Justin Tucker has made 83 of 98 field goals (84.7%) and 58 of 59 extra points (98.3%). Pile those in one basket and he's made 141 of 157 kicks in those potentially game-deciding moments, a success rate of 89.8%. But looking at just the 16 kicks he missed: His only missed extra point failed to send the Ravens and Saints into OT in a Week 7 matchup in 2018 where he made all 3 of his other kicks despite 15 mph winds. Three of his 15 missed field goals were blocked; ignoring those, the 12 attempts that counted range from 44 to 67 yards, with the 44-yarder coming early in his 2nd NFL season in a game the Ravens won handily. The remaining 11, nine of which came at the end of a game's first half, have a median distance of 57 yards. Of the two misses towards the end of the second half, one was a 51-yarder that ended up not mattering because the Ravens got the ball back and set up a 47-yarder that sailed through, and the other was the 67-yard attempt against the Jags featured in this video. So yeah, Tucker's as clutch as they come and if he stays healthy for even another six or seven years, he's a surefire Hall of Famer and the no-doubt GOAT at his position.
I actually disagree and the 49ers kicker has proven it and nobody wants to talk about it. Hes 29 of 29 in the playoffs. Hes perfect. Hes 37 of 37 in the playoffs for extra points. He never misses in the playoffs when those kicks mean the most. Oh and tucker is 15 of 19 in the playoffs on field goals which isnt that good
my favorite thing about justin tucker, in the last season before he arrived, we lost in the AFC championship to the patriots, on a game we definitely should have won. why did we lose, because billy cundiff missed HORRIBLY on a really short FG to tie the game. the very next season, tucker comes in, is immediately one of the best kickers in the league as a rookie, and makes two game winning kicks in our super bowl run you could point to multiple reasons but we would 100% not have won the super bowl without tucker that year 👍
Interesting note to the Week 11 2015 game where Joe Flacco (the quarterback) makes a stupid throw, is the same play where he tore his ACL and MCL 10:27
Justin Tucker is the best kicker in the game hands down and this is coming from a someone who watched Adam Vinatieri kick for a decade in NE. Adam, over 24 seasons has a 97.3% XP percentage which is crazy...Where they are different is FG% Tucker is around 90% where Adam is around 83% for his career...that being said, 13 years on top of what Justin has already done is AMAZNG It makes me appreciate Vinatieri even more.... IF anyone can stay heathy and consistant to match and exceed those numbers it would be Tucker....Probably the best 2 modern day kickers ever
I picture Tucker floating to the ground like Mary Poppins. I mean, as a Patriots fan. Their kicker Cundiff got us a super bowl appearance then Tucker took a potential one away the following season. He was exactly what they needed.
Warm ups do not matter like Tucker said and that 70 yards doesn't tell us anything besides he has a cannon where is leg should be, which we already knew. He doesn't have a line in front of him to give a shit about. He's the goat at kicking but he ain't hitting 70 in game ever.
Love the content and Justin Tucker, but I feel like you did him a huge disservice by not even mentioning his kick at Texas, versus A&M to win what is to this date the last game played between them. No hate, that’s just my option. Keep it up with the amazing content, it’s all love from here
Lol, dude missed a fg nearly 3/4 of the field long, and the reaction is "wow what a disappointment, shoulda made it", and that's because it's realistic for him which is insane
Bruh I am trying to forget that my mets lost Jacob deGrom and ofc watching a video that has nothing to do with baseball ofc Jacob deGrom is brought up.
*reads the title* Uh, I've seen him go 1st round in quite a lot of fantasy leagues. I think everyone knows Justin Tucker. I think five years ago, you could make this video, but not now. Everyone else knows that Tucker has a bigger gap between him and the next player in his position, then any other position in football. Heck, maybe in sport. But yeah. We know. Tucker is the GOAT
Tucker is 15 of 19 in the playoffs on field goals. Not great. Robbie Gould is now 29 0f 29 on field goals and 37 of 37 on extra points. Sorry but you fail to bring his playoff numbers up which aren’t great. Gould is better and way more clutch

As a ravens fan, I’m so fucking glad we have this dude bro. I was literally losing my fucking mind when he made that 66 yarder
As long as the Ravens get passed midfield, with Tucker it means we're able to get points. That's such a good talent for us to have.
As a Detroit fan I thought that 66 yarder was going to be left out of the video when I was about 3/4 the way through...little did I know that it was going to be at the very end😔
That was such a Lions way to lose a game.
Even worse than the Megatron TD/drop. Or the Golden Tate 1/10th yard line, time run-off due to review.
Oh don't feel so bad; as a Bears fan even I can admit the Lions are looking stacked.

He's my favorite kicker. Go ravens. My hometown is baltimore
Kickers are so underrated in football. I would argue that a good kicker is the second most important man on the team. Second only to the QB
They're the highest-scoring players in the NFL, year in and year out. Good ones are very hard to come by.

Justin Tucker- the 'Sniper'
Great vid, he’s a legend
And to think he was an undrafted rookie and the ravens only signed him because Bill Cundiff missed that kick in the AFC championship game.
