The water swings were actually my second favorite ride at the park behind cornball. The visualization of swinging over the water while swinging back and forth in the chair is incredible. Glad to see you rank it so high as well.
I rid the water log ride and the drop is really fun. You don’t get wet very much. It is a very underrated😊 and neglected ride at Indiana beach and I appreciate that you included it!
What a nice little park on the water. It has 3 wooden coasters, 1 of which is one of the most unique coasters ever. I'm so glad they are bringing a Schwarzdof Looper back to life, after so many homes and an incident, I 100% believe Staples will take care of this one.
We used to go every year in Late 70s early 80s, when I was little, we stayed at a cabin and took the ferry over to the park, very fond memories, I was just going thru pictures of the times we spent there. My grandma & mom would play fascination all day, while my sister and me rode the rides, Loved the ride thru haunted House and the big walk thru one scared me bck then, the flying bobs and scrambler was my fave, I was like 10. Miss those days, we moved to Florida when I was 12, so never got to go back!
It’s been about 30 years that I’ve been here. Looks like it has changed quite a bit and my favorite ride was the swing right next to the lake. Actually the last time I was there, it was raining all day but I still enjoyed riding on the swing.
jr high tradition for me was going to Indiana beach. it was a class trip right at the end of the year and my school basically had run of the park as it was during a weekday. old park but still great. almost cried when it was closing and overjoyed when it was bought
They’ll probably trim Drier Looping a lot more than La Féria did. I’ve heard that they either tampered with the brakes or neglected maintenance and that led to the increased speeds. It’s probably best if it’s run at it’s intended speeds.
Den of Lost Thieves is operating incredibly this year. All of the animatronics (with the exceptions of the coffin one and the outside bucket skeleton one) worked when I rode. I also rode Cyclone, which delivered two decent pops of airtime on the second drop and second pop, the helices also delivered nice laterals toward the bottom. I'm very impressed with how this park has been operated and I hope it continues to grow. Love the video, keep up the great work!
I really like the Scrambler at this park because it doesn't just pin you rightward. It shuffles you left and right all throughout the ride, the vehicle clusters appear to be free spinning. And it's one of the four water platform rides which is nice.
My 2019 visit was one of my favorite park days ever. Long hours, no lines, very interesting coaster lineup, and I was shocked that the Shafer Queen cruise was included. I did that cruise during the day and again at night. I had plenty of time for the waterpark as well. The blue double-down body slide was my favorite waterslide. The tube slides near that blue slide were average but still fun. The ones by the drop tower were quite slow. I plan to go back in early August, whether Drier Looping is open or not. I'm shocked it's still not open, but then again, most parks haven't opened their new/relocated coasters yet, including 5 different ones in Texas that I originally planned on riding next week.
My favorite ride there is Cornball Express, followed by Hoosier Hurricane, Tig'rr, Steel Hawg, Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain, Den of Lost Thieves, Rocky's Rapids, Cyclone, Lake Schaefer Queen, and Dodgem.
#RMCHoosierHurricane needs to be a movement once & for all. Can you imagine what they could do with that layout above the water & amongst the Cornball structure?? Holy gawd. That is arguably the most intriguing spent old woodie that is a conversion candidate, especially with new ownership now
If it was Top 15 "Attractions," the Fascination parlor would probably be near the top of the list. It really speaks for how good IB's lineup is when Sky Ride and Shafer Queen don't rank as high as I thought they would. Very underrated.
My dad was standing next to Double shot one time and these two girls were having full on panic attacks. My grandparents had a place on the lake so we spent a lot of time there and dad knew the timing pretty well… when it did the drop dad leaned over waved and said “bye bye” and they shot up. 😂😂😂 my brother and I just died laughing. Also the Hurricane was my first coaster. This park may be a bit rough but it’s got a soft place in my heart. I have so many core memories growing up here.
Be careful on the lost coaster if you hate loud noises! There’s a part kind of near the end where there’s a loud train whistle noise when you pass. We got stuck RIGHT at the sensor last year and the whistle was nonstop and so loud, gave me a panic attack and the employees had to emergency evacuate us. That thing is always getting stuck and shutting down.
Cyclone actually does have some pretty good airtime and laterals. It runs a lot quicker and smoother than most the other galaxi/zyklon coasters I’ve done.
the train sets for the now retired and dismantled Mindbender at West Edmonton Mall should be arriving at Indiana Beach in a few days if they haven't already... Please keep us updated! 😁 Here's the trains loaded up and almost ready to go! ruclips.net/video/3z9fJ24yxSY/видео.html
@@CanobieCoaster RIGHT! 😁 Inside source at WEM told me the trains are in such good condition that they will last another 30 years, easy!🥳 However another inside source at General Metals Edmonton has confirmed, they are taking the majority of the tracks and supports for torching up and shredding down 😭
Cyclone is awesome. It runs seemingly way too fast, and barely trims. The clearances are far too tight, so you HAVE to keep your hands down. It's way better than I anticipated.
Twas truly a nail biter as to "IF" this park would pull through during the 11th HOUR???!!!???? Indiana Beach DOES have some redeeming qualities. It will soon boast 2 legendary Schwarzkopf's. Our Gunslinger (former AstroWorld) swung partly over water. Great lighting package on it as well. I proudly rode & operated it. Saw nothing but smiles as guests rode & exited the ride. Cornball Express. I really think that was part of the "saving GRACE" of this park. Steel Hawg. GM's kid must have made from K-nex. Showed to dad. Dad all like (We gotta build this) Perfect for this park! It is a heck of a steel coaster.

I'm excited to see that open.

i had talked to gene staples son a while back and he had told me that they were planning on trimming it how it should’ve been
It ran fast at Flamingo Land too, just not Quimera fast.
@@CanobieCoaster it will definitely be super intense, just less intense than la féria ran it
they need to devise a new train for the track or something that will make them stronger for sure
I rode it the other day, and it’s really rough. Your head just bangs side to side, specially on the first drop going in to the turn
I love having this as my home park! It is great to marathon Cornball.
Seems like it.

Good to hear on both fronts!
We are going this weekend for a coaster club event. I'm looking forward to going here for the first time.
Never been there , but I gladly donated and bought a brick during the campaign
Hopefully one day I will get there!
Cool!
Their season pass is like $80 per person...
Lost Coaster is legitimately my favorite for every reason you explained
It's such a bizarre experience.

I like the ones over the water.
That was my favorite ride, bitd, rode it over and over, this was about 40 yrs ago, nice to hear it's still there.
This park is a city planners dream. I love how they build around the other rides.
It's neat to see.
When I was a little kid I used to ride that swing for HOURS.

Too historical imo but it’s a great candidate
@@sykwx2347 It’s only from 1994
Cyclone had some pretty surprising airtime when I visited last month. It runs pretty fast.

My one problem with Fascination there is that it doesn't get the same crowd as the Knoebels one. When I've played it, there has been just 2-3 people.
Lost Coaster looks so fun and Cornball Express seems underrated.
Cornball has become overrated if anything
@@bustersales6921 That's possible, but it looks like a really good ride, and I haven't heard that many people talk about it.

That thing broke down my first time at the park before I could reride it. Ran well my second time.
I have ridden Cyclone at Indiana Beach. There is some pretty suprising ejector on the drops and ascents.
That is surprising for a one car model.
Once all American triple loop opens I feel like the coaster lineup will be on par with holiday world tbh
I'll still prefer Holiday World's myself, but this park will have the better steel coasters.

Steel Hawg looks like a lot of fun
It is.
The best part about double shot is when you were able to ride on one of the seats where the restraint didn’t lock aka: the fun seat
Wow!
