Thank you! The reason why I couldn't follow through with a simple physical training certification was that they seem to contradict themselves with explaining the basic functions of the human body vs on how to train the human body. How can the body function properly in a 3 dimensional world when you're training with stationary movements? I do believe that weight training has its place. Maybe when rehabilitating. That's about it. Bodybuilding might look good to most people but at the expense of lessening the true functionality of our body's. This topic should be a serious one hammered home to the fitness community all around the world. I could go on and on. Great explanation on this Dave.
I just decided to purchase the 13" stabilizer bands, and follow a couple exercises. I lift weights, and that is great, but the difference in how I feel after a week of walking stairs with the 13" at my knees, is wonderful. I am truly aware of where my knees are at all times, and my pace is quicker now. Thank you, Dave.
Very good explanation.
You're doing some interesting things here, haven't seen anyone else using bands the way you do.
Thanks. Hope you try it out.
james grage and Dave are my go tos
I always learn something from Dave's videos. This is an oldie but very goodie.
Thanks!
I have been training boxing, karate, lifting weights and just started using using resistance bands so this is great information to use them for functional movements as well. Great video. Thanks for the information. I like learning something new all the time to keep my body strong and functional. Look forward to trying these movements. I’m 57!and still work as a sanitation worker so I need to keep my body strong. My last of three kids I put through college will be done in 3 more years so hopefully I can retire then and focus more on myself but in the meantime I will be incorporating your ideas into my workouts. Thanks again.
Awesome. Keep it up.
Super helpful. Thank you!
Awesome!
